    Was your Celtman experience similar to mine?

    Rozumiem Cie!

    Did the Celtman solo Point Five last year and was on the startlist for the full Celtman this year, SP5 was a lovely day playing outside but not easy. due to sickness I won't be there this year but hope to complete it in the upcoming years. Enjoy the race!

    love seeing your dog up there with you,I got the blue t-shirt in 2021 just did enough training to get me through it after a bad swim like yourself could not get aero on the bike because neck and shoulder pain and the wind was horrendous ran very well to the foot of the mountain but half way up got a bit dizzy,lack of fuel fought it off and finished pretty strong my support runner helped me through the bad points maybe sign up again ,unfinished business, when I was on the ridge I couldnt see a thing the weather was that bad so I have to return to see those spectacular views 🌞

    enjoyed this and very similar to my experience - getting the blue t shirt and then having to try to redo the brutal Double afterwards, but crossing the line and just feeling nothing :)

      Thanks for watching! Well, I didn’t race for 4 years after Celtman. So yes, it did break me a bit. But I’m back now! :)

    Thank you for this. I am still pretty new to triathlon, but I have goals set out for myself and one of them is to participate in the Celtman. Something I have told myself from the very beginning is that I am out to run MY race and no one else. I set myself a goal, I do my best to achieve that goal. If I achieve it, GREAT! If not, then I have stuff to work on. All the while just taking each mile as it comes and really just try to enjoy everything that I am doing. It gives me hope that because I have started with this mindset that it will carry me not only into the longer distance Triathlons, but also in to the extreme Triathlons. Thanks again for you insight and keep on pushing!

    Question: Did you do a full Xtri before Celtman?

    • @stelmachow_ski
      @stelmachow_ski  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NO, I didnt. But I did 3x regular ironmans. It helped, kind off. The xtri is a different beast 😅
