It's more hilarous because it has happened - cops pull you over winter time and your windows is frozen up and you can't open it and then it becomes information that door is also frozen shut and you start to meme to eachother.
Yea the main reason people recommend the white lithium grease is due to better water resistance and helps prevent the excess wear to those plastic sliders. The grease you have will be fine but might cause the plastic to breakdown quicker.
I might be mistaken, because I don't have that car, but it looks like: 1 - Those plastics were removed and re-applied in the past, because the black glue did not look straight and it looked smudged all over the place (I usually re-glue those plastics with silicone and they also get more ugly than before, but I'm careful and they don't look as bad as yours); It's possible that the elevators were switched before you got the car, or another repair that requires the removal of the plastic guards. 2 - Those speakers look aftermarket.
The good fix for this is have beefier wires for windows , because they are really thin and if car it not running the voltage to motors is bad. The smart way is to add dc-dc boost conveter in the door so that voltage on the motor is always 14v like engine was running.
its actually hilarious when you get pulled over and the cop has to wait half a minute for your shitbox to open enough to talk

great video mate! actually got the same problem on my partners mk1. passenger side will hardly open at all, so might give this a go!
It’s much easier then you think to do the whole job, even greasing the rails and changing the bushings should help speed it up
i think speakers are aftermarket, oem bracket uses 3 screws not 4 iirc
and would look like and sound like a hamburger
Actually not 10x quicker or even 2x ....yawn
