  • Episode #340
Author and explorer Andrew Collins joins us for a fascinating conversation about the origins of civilization, agriculture, and megalithic construction in the deep past, as evidenced by sites like Gobekli Tepe, Karahan Tepe, and others in modern day Turkey. We discuss Giants, Nephilim, Annunaki, the mysterious Denisovans, and a possible cult of the Cosmic Serpent in deep prehistory.
Much of this discussion is on the subjects in Andrew's latest book, "Karahan Tepe: Civilization of the Annunaki and the Cosmic Origins of the Serpent of Eden", which you can get here:

Fascinating to hear what Andrew said about the pine cones and buckets or hand bags and all about what is going on there in Turkey I did see by watching Hugh from Megalithomania that there is a lot more work going on in different site around that area of Turkey.... Thanks for the cool interview with Andrew Collins 🙂🤙🐍🐍🐍

I think that there is and always will be a loss of knowledge from generation to generation. I saw it happen in the engraving industry with the application of CNC. Analogue techniques were not passed down, despite being a union shop, and traditions and experienced techniques were lost when the older generation retired.
I can image a situation where not only a global cataclysm started the decline of technology but regarding any surviving knowledge was eventually lost with time for nobody to learn it from those that could teach it..."Only Fred knew how to turn the power on and Fred is dead!"

Goblekitepe is leased out and thus unlikely any additional tourist money goes to other sites. Presumably some of the leasing fee is used on archeology. There was a moratorium announced on new excavations - no profit. This is now backtracked. The trees, some at least, are causing damage, or may do and some are being removed. This is all post JC’s video, had that any effect or not on some of this may or may not be the case.

The reason the stones came from so far, in every case, is to force us to acknowledge that they had the methods to do so. We're supposed to figure that out first. Until we do we should be able to backward extrapolate the implications.

the Rapa Nui built the statures on their island to look towards the sky as well. Johanna James on her channel mentioned the similarities to the Tepes in Asia Minor. If my memory serves me correctly on of the native names for the island refers to looking towards the heavens. (I forgot the exact interpretation). Perhaps the Anunnaki built them too?

I think the story goes back much farther no matter what anyone claims based on the data they have observed or used to mark it as proof. You can't age rock. I think this planet lost a much more advanced civilization that was here long before the beginning of the YD. My opinion of course but this planet at one time in our past was much more civilized than we are now.
