    I agree with your ask for a toy hauler with a small garage, but I don't agree that this is it! This is a rear 2nd kitchen with not enough room for more than 1 bicycle, MAYBE 2. I currently have a 2016 Keystone Alpine 3901 RE that has a 4 foot garage with a side ramp - I can just squeeze a motorcycle & 2 bicycles in, but I'd LOVE to have a Brinkley model to go to, with a 5 or 6 foot GARAGE - don't need a second kitchen - maybe a happyjack twin bed though. Then, as you said, I can keep my large main living space and have a PROPER small size garage. Thanks for all your great videos!

      Agreed. No need for a random sink back there that simply takes up space and won't get used. Put a couple large cabinets for equipment storage and be done

      I like the TH's with the small "under the bedroom" garage. Gives me a full sized living area, like a 5th wheel, but with a garage.

    We looked at a Brinkley at the St. Louis RV show. We loved what we saw! We were always against a toy hauler, but Brinkley changed our minds. Just waiting on retirement so we can buy one and travel!

    Absolutely AMAZING! Nice call on the shorter garage area. The only thing I would change is the plastic bathroom sink (and the countertop if it's thermofoil), and the nightstands, as you suggested. Love this unit.

  • @gkseeton

    That back area is wonderful! I could see an artists space, an office, a sewing room, a music room, pretty much it gives that separate area so needed and so rarely available. I don't think I've seen a better floorpan for full time, half time, or long vacations, This has amazing possibilities. I think this is hands down the finest design I've ever seen and I want one. 😇 I love that u-shaped seating area, lots of room for friends on a rainy day, lots of room for family to drop in, lots of room to stretch out with a book. I love that kitchen. LOVE that kitchen, especially the drop down for silverware, generous counter space, undercounter drawers, and that I could be fixing food and still part of the family watching a movie or just chatting. I am delighted by the desk/dining/etc options, having that flexibility is important in a small space. Just, wow! This is an amazing unit!

    This is a beauty. I like that you added the clip showing that Brinkley listens to what customers want and like. Here's another idea. If it's designed for a combo w/d could it be in the little garage where (it looks like) a cooler is? Then the garage could also be the laundry room complete with sink and folding tables.

    • @ryanhessler8966

    I love the alternate to the garage, and I love the kitchen living room and the pantry to the back porch. Also, as I get older, the more I want, all drawers below the counter. When you can't get down there to look for that pan or dish that is stored in the back of the cabinet.

    I am so excited, they listened to my request for this unit!!! We are actually considering purchasing new. What happened to the full body paint option??? They said it was coming this year! Addition: I asked for a regular floorplan with a great lounging area for watching tv (with the dogs) PLUS a safe and secure location for e-bikes and not larger than 40 feet. I also was adamant that the rv bathroom and bedroom could be used while traveling. Not sure why they put fuel storage, but I don't need to use it. Would I prefer not having the kitchen? Sure, but if it makes someone else happy so they also buy the floorplan it doesn't bother me. I hate the plastic bathroom sink, but replacing it isn't the end of the world either. I actually contacted Brinkley when they came out with the 3400 asking for them to take the outside kitchen off and put a larger sofa in, but frankly I LOVE that they just made the 3950 shorter. There are tons of other larger garages, but nothing that doesn't cost you way too much living space and/or just gets crazy long.

      I had FBP on my last Momentum. At first I was bummed that Brinkley didn't offer it... but I don't miss it at all with our G. The unit stays a bit cooler without all that FBP color and unfortunately FBP isn't an automotive quality paint job. I found it very thin and was constantly touching it up.

    WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! I absolutely love this RV!!! I am definitely one of those people who needs a toy hauler but don’t need a big garage. I have been saying for years, I wish a manufacturer would make a toy hauler with a small garage, that has a decent amount of living space, and under 40 feet. Once again Brinkley has hit it out of the park!!! I recently decided that I would be purchasing the G 3500 next year. However, this unit may change my mind. I can hardly wait to see this unit in person. I will have to spend a good amount of time in both units before making my final decision. Thanks JD for showcasing this Brinkley unit. And thanks Brinkley for listening to the needs of RVers. ❤️❤️❤️ My only negative with this garage is the additional sink, lower cabinets, countertops and frig. I would rather have this space completely open for a true mini garage. I don’t need a 2nd kitchen area. I need a small garage for my small toys, i.e. trail bike, e-bikes, paddle board, folding kayak, etc.

    This is my favorite now. What I like is that you can have be on the back patio and watch TV but also close it up at night without having to close up the … gang plank garage door. So that means you can keep it down and have a permanent area for a patio and pet area.

    We have a grand design fifth wheel with an amazing amount of living space, but now need to double pull to take the RZR. I disagree with needing a shorter garage, as would most of our friends. What we want is a 12 foot garage with a living space like what I have. Which could be doable since my trailer is 28’. Everyone who walks into our trailer loves it! It’s just missing the toy space

  • @Freightmeister
    @Freightmeister 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Wow JD, I think Brinkley almost has it! Only minor changes would be required to make it a highly sought after toy hauler for baby boomers. The 2nd rear entry door, if they just made that a ramp door, wow - they have a best seller. They’d have to delete that rear cabinet & sink, then the 101” wide would fit any motorcycle and or other non- motorized toys. Holly cow, I’m so excited about what this COULD be. I currently have the GD 376THS which also gives lots of living space and hauls a motorcycle + electric bikes, etc.

    See, what I would love to see is a floorplan with a full second bedroom that has a double or single bed. Something like a mid bunk but is good for people who dont have the mobility to climb or crawl on a bunk or loft.

  • @dbkonkle
    @dbkonkle 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Well, they almost nailed it. I really hope the desk/bar sink is optional or easily removable. Build this model with a garage that’s 8-9 feet from the patio doors to the front wall so I don’t have to load my motorcycle sideways please. I understand the overall length would have to increase to 40-42 feet to accommodate this. It would also allow for an optional happijac bed system or maybe a Murphy bed with some storage cabinets along with a half bath on the wall opposite of the rear entry door.
    It would work well for smaller dirt bikes, but my 700 plus pound sport touring bike would be considerably more challenging to maneuver 90 degrees to tie down properly.

  • @dchambers25
    @dchambers25 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    I would be surprised if this model offering lasted longer than a few years. The back 'garage" space isn't big enough for anything except a mountain bike, which you could throw onto a bike carrier behind the trailer, or haul in the bed of the truck. This layout eliminates the double queen bunks in the back also. Small garage units are not selling and this even smaller unit won't sell at all. There may be a very vocal minority that like this, but the sales won't justify making this layout a viable alternative, especially since there are unique toy hauler plans like the Momentum 395ms or Cyclone 4006 which offers residential feeling,non standard toy hauler floor plans. Maybe you should review those units. I don't understand the purpose of another sink in the truncated area, which is 3' away from the main sink. 95% of rvers would rather have the larger space in the back, which would be able to be turned into a kids bedroom or office, while still being able to haul a significant amount of items. Virtually no one is looking for a toy hauler with less space, less functionality, and nonsensical redundancy. The beauty of toy haulers is their utilitarian appeal, and this unit has successfully eliminated that. Now, if they were to extend this unit to make it a 45' trailer, make the garage 13 or 14' long, then this would be a phenomenal unit.

  • @nomad1500mb

    We love the direction this floor plan is going for the most part. The small toy garage would be perfect for e-bikes and dog fence on travel days. It would also make a great office when stationary. Just add a tall task chair. However, we’re not a fan of the U-shaped sofa. This is the same sofa in the Z 3950 that we walked through last month. It makes for a tight walkway on the camp side and makes the living room too small, especially with two large dogs. Honestly, we’d prefer theater seats or free standing swivel chairs across from the tv and a sofa on the driver side wall leaving the space on the camp side more open. Also, the double pull out pantry doesn’t leave room for dog food bins. We like the pantry but have no idea where we’d store dog food day to day.

    I have to tell you that this is one of my favorite you have shown in the most recent months. I love the Gen Y pin box. The pass through to the front storage idea is amazing!!! Why haven't we seen this done before? So much more room for bulky items and odd sized things. I know I would use it for sure. In fact, I might figure out how to convert mine to do just that. The smaller garage on the back is great and the fact that you can have a deck without having to give up have of the 5th wheel just to put in a bicycle is great. I love the deck idea but wish I had something like this. I don't need a huge garage but want the deck off the back. The storage for pantries is fantastic behind the shower and in the kitchen. You don't need a 9' wingspan to reach in the back of the cabinet... Great ideas.
    Brinkley is winning, that's for sure.

    With that said, this garage is too small. The countertop on the front side with small fridge and sink should be an option at best. My preference would be to omit it so there is more space for bikes, grills, etc. The table space on the wall opposite the door could be on hinges to lock in either an up or down position during travel then setup when needed. The space would be maximized for travel without taking away from the main living area and there would be added functionality with the desk/tabletop.
    As for the price, I suspect the sales price will be in the $150,000 to $160,000 range based on the MSRP you quoted. It is still too high for what they provide. To get that price, it should have a full body paint. Otherwise, the sales price should be in the $120,000 to $130,000 range. Like the auto industry, RV manufacturers and dealers took advantage of customers during the COVID period (2020 - 2022) claiming low inventory and unavailable parts and material. That situation has flipped in the auto industry and they will soon have to offer more discounts to move inventory. If consumers will hold off over paying for units, we will see the industry reduce prices to something more reasonable.

    Wow this is a beautiful RV! Love the look of the outside. Love that huge sofa. Love This a a big nice kitchen. Love these black out shads. Love all of the drones. Love that back splash. That garage would make the best office. Nice cabinets the store stuff. And I would put bicycles in there to. Nice. Tv. Nice shower. Love that running gear. Love this one! Thxs!

    Only real major downer for me is the swing and miss on the lack of decent night stands. Give me 6-8" on either side to put my phone, watch, glasses, a book etc and im golden, but i dont like having to reach way up, fumble around and drop things on my face in the dark 😂

    Nice to see different thinking in a toy hauler mini. Two things strike me- though well thought out- the lack of theater seats without divider and the lack of night tables/shelves by the bed are definite shortcomings.

    Nice unit.You should do a tandem tow video. There are a lot of states that don’t allow it for RVs only for commercial with licensing. Interesting that you say not to tandem with a 5th wheel. Most of the states that do permit it, require the first trailer to be a 5th connection.
    Maybe bring the question up with a manufacturer interview.

    The only changes I would make:
    1) 4 season with double paned windows.
    2) make totally electric and get rid of the propane stove and go with induction cook top and electric stove.
    3) add dishwasher and washer/dryer combo
    4) add electrical sockets in back kitchenette and add a ice machine in frig.
    5) add night stands to bed.

    I love it. I don’t see the need for a sink in the back room. Counter space only. Maybe an outside sink. For me and my wife we also would have no need for the loft. As full time RV’ers I would use that rear space for my 100’s of hobbies I seem to have. So I am curious as to what changes I would be allowed during construction. I have been looking at Brinkley the last couple years and would love to have one. I guess I will have to make a phone call.

    196K and plastic sinks? WTF In my humble opinion no need for a second kitchen area half bath maybe. If it’s not a toy hauler windows in the back drop down for light when the weather is really bad.

  • @celestezardeskas6510
    @celestezardeskas6510 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I love everything about this but the price$$$$ - it was $196K at the Dallas show. Don't understand why it has the air compressor or fueling station as it is not big enough in the back to maybe store 2 E-bikes. Seems way overkill for just an outdoor kitchen. For that, I'd think the Z3400 is enough and save the $50K.

    I love the brinkleys for sure but this one is way too large and heavy for what I’m looking for to securely carry a couple of e-bikes inside the trailer. It’s close but is way overkill to have such a small toy area. I think the Montana they showed with slide as a bike storage would be a better option for Brinkley than this unit.

    For the money they're asking the unit isn't very impressive. Especially with that closet of a toyhauler section. And the island kitchen is a no go. Plus the living room space is tiny in front of the sectional sofa.
    At that price point, no way.

    Overall cool unit. Plastic sinks are kinda 🐂💩 for the price. In the rear I'd lose the kitchenette type set-up for more usable floor space. If there is a smaller Happy Jack I'd put that in too. Got some really cool features!

    Really like the unit, but ceiling fans at least living and bedroom. Was that 5 garbage cans , dam just give us the cans, don't make us pay for trash. Dishwasher...i don't care build it into the couch base access from the kitchen side. Pass through from the kitchen to outside deck space. Swing out barbeque from the deck. Patio drop legs, they make a short cycle dishwasher in the Marine market 2-12 minutes . Let's go camping not do chores for 4hrs. Like the couch but Grandma's legs are getting a little close. Ultimate Ask- a lift from living to upper hallway. No one has figured it out yet. River Ranch has made it one level floor though. Lift for walker or someone with bad knees. That's why the patio is so important someone who might house bound but still wants to see the action of the grandkids playing. Oh I thought of 75 other little tweaks

    "Mini" toy hauler 😂 the title got my hopes up! I am looking for a smaller hauler, around 34-36 feet. The only one I found so far that checks most of the boxes is a 2024 Grand Design 320G...but I do not want a Grand Design 😢 I want Alliance or Brinkley. I don't like any of Alliance's shorter toy haulers and Brinkley just doesn't make one....yet. Cone on Brinkley, give me a smaller hauler! I can't be the only one who wants one 😂

    To me Brinkley are super disappointing they make a super expensive just about the most expensive in the industry and they use the cheapest possible garbage non privacy shades. How do I know because I have the same ones I had to replace in the first 6 months do to ripping and tearing. Second the side by side fridges are obsolete and do not work well in campers moving around a lot. Much rather have those domestic upper fridge with 3 or 2 drawer fridge. As far as that butler pantry in the back that is just a waste I would rather have that empty so I could actually fit a couple of bikes or scooters without jamming them in. You could on that size when empty fit a motorcycle. Now for a small kitchen it is very nice lots of storage I love the pantries and can’t believe it has taken this long for those style to be used. Also combo unit washing machines are ok if you have 3 hours of nothing to do I would rather have a stackable. Also seems a bit low to the ground. Also did it carry fuel like a normal toy hauler?
