    You are awesome, fantastic instructions. The reset buttons was magic. Yes, we walked into it by accident and cabal. There it is. Thank you so much. We now have an awesome lift gate. Don't nobody buy the mighty mule!!!. It is a worthless piece of junk!! that I've been trying to make work for over 10 years, and I've gone through at least five of them. Dismiss master is quiet, works easy, easy to install. A minor bit bit of welding, and we're done. Can put the brackets up.

    Thanks, your tip on the reset was all I needed. I remember breaking the first run cycle with my elbow . it stopped the gate on it's first run - after that the whole install was frustrating. I knew I had everything setup properly. After I reset (holding the left/right) buttons. Voila, everything was up and running. I ran the gate 2 full cycles and today is day 2 with about 20 entry exits without any issues. :) Thx for the reset tip!

    A million thanks for this. This video alone is worth every $ I spent with you guys on the opener. NOWHERE in the Liftmaster documentation does it describe resetting the sensor inputs.

    Superb video. Unfortunately I did lose my hair before finding this but gate back in operation. Why Liftmaster would not include the reset info in the manual is hard to fathom and somewhat irresponsible imho.

    Hi Affordable Openers, I have 72 code on my RSL12UL unit but my eye sensor are working good. Solid blue normal and solid red when interrupted. My remote doesnt work. Did it manually and only closing is working, and wont reverse when eye sensor is interrupted. Pls help me. Do I have to reprogram my remote operator?

    We have the CSL24UL with a receiver/call box. It has been working well for months now, until a snowstorm the other day. The gate is open and will not close by any method. I tried the "Troubleshooting" in the manual, no luck. When I removed the shell to the operator box, the only light that was flashing is the small "Timer" light. None of the test buttons will move the gate, either. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    I am replacing the control board, not that I have replaced it exactly how the other one was installed, I keep getting the same blinking lights, the previous set up did not have any kind of edge guard and still ran properly. I do not have the edge guard and have done everything in the initial installation instructions. Still keep getting those blinking lights. How do I install with only the eye sensor amd nothing else.

      The new boards require 2 monitored safety devices. You will need to purchase either another LMRRUL or a resistive edge with the LMWEKIT. Any further questions can be directed to us at sales@affordableopeners.com

    Hey do you know anything about setting up a dual gate lift master system they have sent me a complete kit but it has two transmitters and only one receiver from what liftmaster has stated both machines are able to be wireless networked so only one receiver is Necessary which completely confuses me please if you got any idea how to do it thanks

      Checkout page 20 of this manual. It explains how to do the set up: www.affordableopeners.com/manuals/Manufacturer/LiftMaster/csl24ul.pdf

    I didn't purchase the wireless receiver. If I hardwire the edge sensor, must I still connected to the exp board?
    ?

    • @Affordableopeners
      @Affordableopeners  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, you will connect the wires from the edge sensor to the yellow terminal block on the main board labelled "open eyes/edge".

    I was told today that I could use 2 photoelectric sensors instead of 1 and 1 true? Edge sensor / eye?

    • @Affordableopeners
      @Affordableopeners  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is true. You can use the LMRRUL for both the monitored 'close' and monitored 'open' safety

    During closing, the sensor isn't stopping the gate from moving. Is this a programming error and I should reset the whole board?

    • @affordableopener7795
      @affordableopener7795 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When you say sensor are you referring to the photo eye? And yes you can reset the monitored devices I believe the reset step is on the bottom of page 27 of your manual. Now if your referring to the edge that is the opening sensor and should be mounted to the back of the gate. Hope this helps.

    Is there any way to skip that damn 2nd safety device? I have the edge but without wireless receiver and I can’t get it to work!

    • @Affordableopeners
      @Affordableopeners  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You either have to hardwire it with a coil cord or by the wireless edge kit. Part # lmwekitu www.affordableopeners.com/liftmaster-lmwekitu-monitored-wireless-edge-kit.html

      @@Affordableopeners Thank you for the helpful video. If I do a reset by pressing the 'open left' and 'open right' buttons together twice, does that only reset the safety device configuration from the memory, or does that return all programed settings back to the default values? I was consider switching to a hardwired edge configuration but don't want to roundup and reprogram my numerous colleague's remotes.

    • @Affordableopeners
      @Affordableopeners  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you click the open left/open right buttons at the same time both lights come on, do it a second time and both lights go out. Now you have erased the entrapment device memory from the board without erasing any other settings.@@brettschuler5336
