Kory, I have a Lift master gate opener that's showing a 37-error code. The led's on the sides of the set close and set open buttons are flashing, can you tell me what's going on with my operator.
@Tina Dancy, that's one I haven't seen before, but the LiftMaster manual describes this error as an "Product ID Failure". Unplug product ID harness then plug back in. Disconnect all power, wait 15 seconds, then reconnect power before replacing product ID harness.
Kory Beck, I'm not sure what LA means, all the error codes that are published indicate the should be numbers not letters. Assure you have followed the process in the video to display and cycle thru the available error codes - do you have any reason to believe the diagnostics display is not working properly, like does it look like some of the portions of the numbers are not lighting up at all? Overall, what is the problem you are having with your gate operator? Do you have any other indicated lights lit up on the control board?
@@totalsecuritywarehouse3621 I am thinking I have a bad board... No error codes or indicators appear at all. The light for input power is on and the "XMITTER" light is on. Nothing else. The gate operator is not working at all.
@@korybeck6628 take a look at the manual link below. That XMITTER light should only be on when in LEARN Mode. Check that your Stop and or Reset buttons are not stock on your control board. @TexasT, an Error Code 31 indicates the main control board has experienced an internal failure. It is recommended to turn the main power switch off, wait 5 seconds, and then turn the power back on. If the error comes back the main board may need to be replaced.

I don't get a code, the only thing that displays is "LA". What does that mean?
