Can you focus on proper socialization, and teaching them to think you are number 1 when in public? Of all the videos of yours I have seen, I missed the ball on that with my pup.
I would love to hear your opinions on the Hunger for Words experiments, where owners are training their dogs to communicate via voice-recorded buttons (such as FluentPet)! I'd recommend checking out the channels hungerforwords and What About Bunny, among others, as they have been incredibly insightful about the thought processes of dogs. Personally, I find these experiments incredibly interesting and overall _monumental_ in the study and understanding of dog psychology and intelligence! I'd even love if maybe you guys could give it a try (maybe with Inertia?), since you already have dog training under your belt to help you with the button training.
So happy you got a small dog! I just got a Pomeranian puppy 2/3 weeks ago & although I have the app & watch your videos I can sometimes feel so lost - so excited for this
13 week rescue puppy owner here as well 2 weeks in and I found you. Feel so bad for all the mistakes I have made based on your vids. First dog. Not a bad dog owner. Just a new dog owner.
It's okay! It's amazing to hear someone working hard from early on from the first time out. Just remember to have patience and that you're as much of a beginner at this as the dog, and sometimes the small things you don't realize you're doing or the energy you have when you do it affects the dog's belief in what you say. Just stay dedicated to fulfilling your dog with purpose and happiness and you'll make it!
Hi Bree! I loooove every one if your guys' videos 😁😁 Your film work is amazing btw, and it's always hilarious to see the difference whenever Zak tries to film himself (no offence Zak, your still a legend 😂) much love from New Zealand xx

Zak, I just wanted to say that I watched probably 40+ hours of your videos before I bought my dog. He turned five a few months ago. He is so much better behaved and trained than basically any other dog I’ve met that didn’t go to an actual behavioral school. You are a great teacher.
I love your series. I just got our first pup (bully/terrier) and your videos has taught me how to train my pup. She turns 3 months in a couple days and she now knows how to sit, down, go in her kennel. Currently training her “leave it”.
How'd you the kennel part? We got our doxador about 11 days now and he's about 2months and has like separational anxiety he cant stay for even 5 minutes in Im still trying

I'm about 40 minutes away from picking up my new little girl. She's a blue heeler/poodle mix and I've been told that heelers are highly intelligent. I've been watching your videos since I was around 13 since I wanted to be a dog trainer (as an early teen who had never had a dog 😭). I gave up on that dream but now am coming back to learn how to properly train her. Glad you're still making these!
I don't know about heelers but poodles are wicked sharp. My sister's learned so many things on his own. If she said walk he would go grab his leash and bring it to her and she had to spell bath sometimes because he knew what it meant. He would go hide under the bed if you didn't spell it.
Me either...I don't even have a dog (yet), just 3 cats. Fascinating, and you never know...just in case. Thinking about fostering, see how it goes, maybe there will be a foster fail doggie!
Even though my pup is now 3 years old, I still find these training videos very helpful. He is a Husky and still can be a bit stubborn at times. One of the good things about him was how easy it was to potty train him. He had an accident twice in his crate and a couple of times in the house and then that was it. My dad kept saying you rub his nose in it when they potty in the house and I told him that isn't the way you train them. I took him out every 2 hours, right after he ate, drank, woke up and am thankful I work an overnight job that makes it easy to do those things. Can't wait to see how Biscuits training goes.
We are getting our tiny little Biewer Terrier puppy on Saturday, and this series (together with your book) will be invaluable. Its so nice to see a small dog being trained--it gives us more of a connection. Our breeder reported that when the sibling group went to the vet's office for their first vacinnations, our little guy was the first to walk right up to the vet--totally unafraid and confident. We hope to be able to build on that confidence to help him be the most awesome dog he can be. Thank you!
my husband wants to get a dog for our farm but I want to be able to train whatever dog we get before we decide to have a farm dog. this is so perfect because I want our dog to have good social skills and be able to listen when we have guests.
Im happy to announce that- thanks to your videos my puppy is potty trained 💙💙💙 I was worried with him during the winter weather, but I followed the advice from your videos and he quickly picked up on going potty outside ~
@@indysnoop1864 my tip is to take the puppy out every hour or so, while he’s in the learning stage. (If that is too burdensome, ask if a friend or family member can help you by doing part of it). It’s also important to immediately clean away any accidents, and NEVER make them feel bad for the accidents. Sure you can tell them no and let them know “hey, that is not where you go”, but do not punish the pup. If there are any accidents- that is on you (either you didn’t pick up the cues, or u were not consistent enough/ did not supervise them). Secondly, praise them when they do their business outside or on pads (and I mean lots of praises, I even gave my pup treats during his first time). In addition I would let one pee stain stay on the pads for a day so that he would know that is where he is supposed to go. Later on that was not a problem. At first I had plenty of pads scattered around the house, but I gradually got rid of them one by one. Now my pup only has one pad in my bedroom where he sleeps, and he never uses it, unless I wake up too late. He almost always without fail, takes in use the pad. As for picking up on cues: It is important to take out the pup almost immediately before and after a nap, after playing, and depending on your dog- after eating. My pup usually takes some time aka a couple hours before digesting his food, but I’ve heard some only take 30 mins so it all depends. Another cue is if the pup usually follows you around and then suddenly starts wandering off, or starts sniffing the ground intensely and going in circles, they probably have to go. It may seem like a lot, but if you put in a lot of effort in the beginning it becomes SO much easier in the long run. I went from going every hour to just a couple times a day.
You can also use the term “go potty” or if you prefer to separate them “go pee” “go poo”, whenever your dog is going. During my first walks, I would chant “go potty” “go potty” as if I was haunted whenever my puppy did his business hahah 😂 At least he now knows and associates “go potty” with doing his business, so he knows what to do.
I’ve watched just about every video you have in the last few months to prepare for our new Christmas puppy, we’ve had her just under a month and she’s smarter than every dog I’ve known following your advice. It’ll be awesome to watch this series as we also raise our new fur baby :)
I just adopted a 3 year old dog and most of the puppy traits are showing. I truly feel like I do have a puppy. Thank you for sharing these. He has been a handful and SO sweet. I need help getting him and the cat to get along as of now we have to lock the cats up. On day 3 now and I feel horrible but I am doing my best! He gets along good enough with my 13 year old dog
At times I feel like I'm failing my puppy. He is an awesome dog and listens really well just has some extreme stubbornness. I honestly believe it all normal and natural but when I get too in my head I spend a few minutes on TikTok to see how folks are raising their children and that's when I realize me and my pup are doing excellent!
Biscuits is a cutey and a quick study. So impressed with Inertia's socialization skills. I remember when she was a puppy and had some issues of her own but she has become a great trainer in her own right.
Zak and Bree are still the #1 trainers out there, and their content and training videos keep evolving to another level! So educational and fun to watch! Thank you both ❤️🐼
I watched your videos as you were releasing them with Inertia, since we had a new puppy too. We got ours within a week of each other last time. Now I clicked back over to rewatch those, as we are getting a new pup next month. Lo and behold, you also have a new pup! Such timing!
I have a 10 month old GSD. They’re amazing and super smart! Good luck with your new best friend ❤️🐶🐾 What we did to tire ours out when needed: -beginners puzzles - play - training - holding her or sitting with her outside listening to new sounds in our backyard
Impulse control is super important with a GSD. There are tons of trainers and videos on GSD's, they're the #1 bred dog in the US right now. Keep on them, they can be a challenge.
Although I think positive reinforcement may have some limitations in certain scenarios, I really love your passion, patience, and how intricately you break every step down and adapt based on their body language.
That’s why I watch him we jus got a new puppy so that’s y I started but now I’m watching shi that I’m never gonna try n train my dog for it’s fascinating how smart they are when u understand them
@@lukasz96it works. Especially in conjunction with a correction. I don't understand you non positive zealots thinking you have to be rude to your dog to teach him things simply cuz you think you're dog is purposely being a dick. There are obviously more serious things being outside that need more attention which is fine, but inside should be a safe place to learn the basics. You're probably positively reinforcing yourself and are just denying it.. who says no then leaves their dog clueless and frustrated? You obviously supplement his negative behavior with something better and reward, it ain't difficult.
@@lukasz96also i work w kids, the older generations scold them for doing something wrong and the kids are afraid of them, don't like them, and don't want to deal with them but are fearful. I teach them why not to do it, or i simply let them do it, find out for themselves and teach them what happened. Actually taking the time to teach is greatly appreciated and they love me for it.
New puppy day 8: Penny , my 9 week old golden doodle has had diarrhea in the week she’s been with us. Thank you, Zak. She knows her name, comes when called. Almost perfect on the piddle pads. She loves chewing on the tendon chews. A lot. I hear mixed messages about letting her outside vs. keeping her in until fully vaccinated. By day 3, we had to let her out! She has a lot of energy and our place isn’t that big. These videos are tremendously helpful! Thank you!!! 🙏🏼🤗
We're on day 8 too!!! We just went to the vet and they said we could take her out but no long walks, no dog parks and no groomer unless fully vaccinated... Good luck on your puppy journey!!!
Biscuit is so adorable. My puppy is about six months old so we're a bit ahead of where you are with Biscuit but I'm still finding the general training tips helpful. TFS. ~ Betty
As much as I love tiny dogs I don't think I could ever have one, I'm disabled and can't bend down very easy so training would be a nightmare! This series is really making me reconsider though, she's so stinking cute 🥰
Boy one step forward two steps back! Your videos are really helping me my one puppy Annie is sitting so good she bounces when she sits down! We're also having success with being on the lease and peeing at the same time and I've had them for going on 3 weeks! Pray for me! Lol. There midget drunk dogs! I'm head over heels! Lol I might keep them!
I just want to thank from the bottom of my heart for helping train my sheperd mix beyond what I thought was possible with no prior experience but a lot of patience. I kid you not, I’ve had a local PD and sheriff Dept ask me to donate him for various different K9 task such as drug sniffing and bomb sniffing. It made me extremely proud of my work with Chico but not with you! Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏 Can’t say it enough.
was recently given a 4wk 2 day old female pitbull puppy, the runt, owner wanted her gone asap to save the mother as she was very skinny from feeding all her hungry pups ... thank you so much, you are amazing, both of you and the lucky puppies that come into your life. My precious Greta the Gremlin, GG for short, is already making progress and has been saved from being corrected with a loud no, now she can grow up with out trauma and be a healthy happy little girl not to mention me and the much better relationship I can now have with my home mate. Cant thank you both enough !
So interesting!! Looks more difficult with a small dog where we might be tempted to pull them etc. This is going to be a totally different experience for us viewers (Chop - Biscuits) 😁😁
So true. I have a small adult rescue Chorkie and most training videos out there feature larger dogs. It's hard to relate when you have a different physical relationship to your dog and have to bend to the floor to treat in a timely fashion...
I love seeing the progression of your leave-it training! Thank you for demonstrating that it's okay to change/rework methods to avoid teaching via mistakes and move toward teaching through successes.
I’m wondering how Zac felt comfortable taking her to that downtown area. I’m looking for public places to take a puppy but if it’s public enough that I think it will be good socialization then chances are good dogs are there too.
I get my new pup in about 3 weeks. I was so excited to come across your training videos. This is my first to view and I have watched it twice. I am very secure and confident with dogs, but I am learning so much on how to perfect techniques. Oh, and remembering what it is like to have a new puppy after 12 years. Thank you. Barb
I love how you just whipped out a tiny frisbee 😆. Inertia is also a great pup sitter! This episode was really helpful. I found it useful to have a review of teaching the basic lure training and how to go at the dog's own pace in public. Especially with such a small dog.
Oh man, I've got an unexpected foster puppy arriving next weekend (first puppy ever), so I'm going back to every video Zak's ever put out on puppy training... plus the Biscuit series to tie it together.
Zap hi I would think that promoting a food change , you need to have a video on food transition methods . Be cause if peeps just change just like that , you and I both know poop problems will be part of it !
You are the best Dog trainer I've ever seen or heard of! I plan to get a puppy in a few years and have been watching your videos so I know exactly how to train a dog. I've learned so much from your video (started watching kona's videos first.) You are definitely the only dog trainer I need to learn from.
Socialization is so important, so I'm glad you covered it, I also have a suggestion for a future RDT (Reality Dog Training) series. Maybe you should try training a Service Dog Prospect like getting the Service Dog Prospect in a position to pass the CGC tests.
We just got our nine week old shiny new Lab service dog puppy “Joy”. We are doing the “raising” for an org that provides service dogs (emotional support and disability) for veterans. We’re having a blast and are at about 75% success on potty training. Its been super cold since we got her about a week ago. We took her to the post office to offer Saturday morning puppy love to the patrons, and to the drugstore for an errand. She was occasionally shivery and nervous, but always happy to greet people. The org does a great job desensitizing for early development like touching bodies all over esp. feet and collar areas, and providing exposure to novel textures and surfaces. I’d love the opportunity to have a session like the one outdoors that you shoed here but its so damned cold! Any suggestions?? We’ll be training in a fairly vacant mall in a few weeks but I’m looking for other indoor environments where we could explore.
Picking up our puppy tomorrow, I felt so unprepared before finding your series! I could binge for a couple hours but I'll definitely need my sleep for that crate training lol! Thanks so much! - a very appreciative new cockapoo pawparent
Started watching your videos in the past few weeks to help me train our *two* new huskies. They learned "sit" within 24 hours and are learning "down" and "come". It's funny to watch them immediately try to lay down after I tell them to sit because they think that's what I'm going to ask them to do. 😂 So I've been trying to mix it up for them and keep them on their toes. Sometimes I think they're too smart for their own good. Looking forward to seeing more of your puppy videos!!
Since I’m incapable of turning off my vet tech brain- do you worry about parvo when taking young puppies out and about? I’m sure they’ve probably had some vaccines but at 13 weeks I wouldn’t imagine they’ve had them all..?
Hey Zak! New puppy owner here (our girl is about 11 weeks). I was wondering what tips you may have to get our puppy socialized early on when we live in a very high parvo risk community? The vet told us she will need 5 rounds of the parvo vaccine and won’t be fully vaccinated until 5 months old, but I’m really worried that’ll be too late to socialize her. Any advice?
Hi Zak, we just lost our dog. :( By God's grace, a puppy is about to come into our lives. He is a pure Blue Heeler, I've been doing some reading, and even though Auggie was part blue heeler. Is there anything special you could share about training him? I love your videos and am learning a lot from them thank you.
Zak - I am so glad I found you! I'm getting a new puppy on the 5th - half labradoodle and half border collie! I am clinging to your channel for dear life! You are amazing.
Is there anyway I could nominate a dog in need for your next series? I doubt he would be chosen but this husky owned by someone I know is anxiety overload along with his aggressive behavior towards certain triggers that I am still unaware of. He has never been in a actual house, his owners are looking for a new home for him, and nobody is willing to adopt him. Even the humane society wont enter him into their programs. He is not my dog but I wish to help him and if anyone knows of any way that he can get a 2nd chance at life plz let me know.
You are a master class trainer. Appreciate your insight. I have a 15 week old English Cream Golden Retriever. Training is going well. She's a smart girl, but sometimes she's just not interested in a treat. Should I just stop the session on those occasions?
I laughed when you pulled out the mini frisbee! But it’s a good reminder that little dogs can do anything big ones can, including participate in dog sports. Looking forward to the rest of Biscuits’ episodes.
I would love to know more about that little frisbee! My Pom is 10 lbs now and I would love to try and teach him frisbee but I haven't been able to find one that is small and light enough!
Love the training tip. I have two puppies and the have mastered sit but working on stay. Getting to stop biting has been hard. I have two long hair chihuahua and they are 12 weeks old. We have had them for two weeks now.
it's always a risk when they go outside, even in your backyard. I'm guessing he knows instances of parvo in his area are low and that's why he he took her out (but when I get mine I'm definitely not going to risk it lol)
Zak has done several series on puppy training, including one when they got Inertia 2 years ago (first full year) and another with a co-worker's doodle puppy that he had live with them for a few weeks.
My puppy is 14 weeks old. She isn’t scared of anything. She’s always super excited and runs to any new person she see’s. How do I calm her down and teach her not to run off to anyone she sees?
Hey Zak, been waiting your videos for a while now. Wife and I get our first Puppy next weekend and we're feeling that much more knowledgeable because of your work! Keep it up mate :)
Great videos! I am learning lots by watching your videos. Could you do a video on the facts/fictions of dog dominance mistakes? examples like never letting them win in a game of tug of war, letting them climb on you while you're on your back, never have a staring contest and lose, etc.?
Yay new episode! Thanks for this series Zak! I'd love if you go over things like separation anxiety & shy puppies, my 4m old toy poodle is fearful of new people & situations, I'm always trying to socialize her but she barks at new people and hides behind me. She also is afraid of dogs...she is going to a puppy socialization class soon tho. She also seems to have mild separation anxiety, barks & whines constantly if left alone, even if she has toys & treats.

Great video, but I had a question about something that came up at the end when the dog peed on the carpet. What do you use a stain remover?

Thank you both ❤️🐼
Zak & Bree,
Thank you "training me" how to train my new 10 week old rescue puppy,😊🐾💞
I have learned so much in just 2 videos!!
Hello 👋
Very nice.
I watched your videos as you were releasing them with Inertia, since we had a new puppy too. We got ours within a week of each other last time.
Now I clicked back over to rewatch those, as we are getting a new pup next month. Lo and behold, you also have a new pup! Such timing!
I just got a new puppy so this is super helpful to have everything we need to know in one video!
@Eva Elfia Awww, a new puppy!🐶🥳 Haha for sure, Eva!💞 Come over to my channel🤗
I have just got a German Shepherd puppy and this series is helping a lot! Thanks Zak.
Awwe sheppy!!!! Sheppys are the best!!! Enjoy your new ball of fluff!! 😍🐾🦴
I have a 10 month old GSD. They’re amazing and super smart! Good luck with your new best friend ❤️🐶🐾
What we did to tire ours out when needed:
-beginners puzzles
- play
- training
- holding her or sitting with her outside listening to new sounds in our backyard
I have a 15 month Shep puppy too! He’s the BIGGEST handful I’ve ever seen!!!!
Mine is now 8 months old
Impulse control is super important with a GSD.
That’s why I watch him we jus got a new puppy so that’s y I started but now I’m watching shi that I’m never gonna try n train my dog for it’s fascinating how smart they are when u understand them
Go watch Dog Daddy, he's the real deal!
It doesn't and thinking like that you should neither own pets nor have kids.
TFS. ~ Betty
You should post him!
As much as I love tiny dogs I don't think I could ever have one, I'm disabled and can't bend down very easy so training would be a nightmare! This series is really making me reconsider though, she's so stinking cute 🥰
Inertia is so kind and absolutely lovely natured.
Inertia is like a cool big sister.
Hello 👋
Zak & Bree,
Thank you "training me" how to train my new 10 week old rescue puppy,
I have learned so much in just 2 videos!!
I tried this on my 4 year old stubborn Chihuahua and we actually made progress 😭 thankyou sm
Lol
I might keep them!
Aww isnt she doing well, and what a cute puppy. I agree socializing is a good thing for a dog to learn. will be nice to see the progression .
Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏
Can’t say it enough.
I live in Turkey and 4 days before I found a poppy, he is 3. month, and saw your video, very usefull for me, thanks a lot 🙏
was recently given a 4wk 2 day old female pitbull puppy, the runt, owner wanted her gone asap to save the mother as she was very skinny from feeding all her hungry pups ... thank you so much, you are amazing, both of you and the lucky puppies that come into your life. My precious Greta the Gremlin, GG for short, is already making progress and has been saved from being corrected with a loud no, now she can grow up with out trauma and be a healthy happy little girl not to mention me and the much better relationship I can now have with my home mate. Cant thank you both enough !
You are a good dog trainer, modern methods are the most fun for the dog and best long term for relationship purposes as well.
I’m getting a dog this summer so for reaserch I have been watching u I went back all the way to your first training ep 1 dog vid with your did
So interesting!!
Omgosh, Biscuits is adorable and it is so fun to see you with a puppy! And Inertia is beautiful!!
Im getting a border collie pup in 6 weeks! These videos really couldnt have come at a better time
Oh gosh! What a lifesaver! I adopted a Korean Jindo recently. I’m watching all your episodes. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
I have a 13 week old toy poodle cross. I am amazed by how she progresses every day. Thank you for your advice and tips
Bravo Biscuits! What a good girl ☺️
I get my new pup in about 3 weeks. I was so excited to come across your training videos. This is my first to view and I have watched it twice. I am very secure and confident with dogs, but I am learning so much on how to perfect techniques. Oh, and remembering what it is like to have a new puppy after 12 years. Thank you. Barb
inertia is such a beautiful personality! so playful and trustworthy with biscuit
Love this series, we are getting a new puppy this summer, definitely appreciate all the training methods I am learning.
I love how you just whipped out a tiny frisbee 😆. Inertia is also a great pup sitter!
This episode was really helpful. I found it useful to have a review of teaching the basic lure training and how to go at the dog's own pace in public. Especially with such a small dog.
omg love the way you smile at her at 7:59 - like a proud dad !
Biscuits is so adorable!!! I'm glad to see you are working with a small dog this time 💖
I was looking for a dopamine boost, and this video delivered perfectly. Thank you for the emotional peace and training tips!
I've learned so much from your video (started watching kona's videos first.) You are definitely the only dog trainer I need to learn from.
its such a lonnnnng week between episodes - loving a small dog series
😁 Love this idea. Granted, I'm not Zak George. lol
@@talesofatherapydog lol
Picking up our puppy tomorrow, I felt so unprepared before finding your series! I could binge for a couple hours but I'll definitely need my sleep for that crate training lol! Thanks so much! - a very appreciative new cockapoo pawparent
How's it going with the puppy??
dont listen to his guy get a balanced dog trainer these guys are gonna set u up for failure
Love. Dogs
Yey
Started watching your videos in the past few weeks to help me train our *two* new huskies. They learned "sit" within 24 hours and are learning "down" and "come". It's funny to watch them immediately try to lay down after I tell them to sit because they think that's what I'm going to ask them to do. 😂 So I've been trying to mix it up for them and keep them on their toes. Sometimes I think they're too smart for their own good. Looking forward to seeing more of your puppy videos!!
Congratulations! Two huskies to train!
My Pom learned sit in 15 minutes when I thought it would take days lol
I want to say I really enjoy seeing your 'cameraman' being included on camera !
Man, those little pawsies at 4:08.
Super adorable!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍❤️
Hey Z I’m really goin trough a hard time rn and whenever I watch your vids u make me feel good! I love u guys ❤️
Everyone goes through a hard time I hope your doing better, message if you need a chat with a random Scottish guy couldn't find a way of messaging you
Since I’m incapable of turning off my vet tech brain- do you worry about parvo when taking young puppies out and about? I’m sure they’ve probably had some vaccines but at 13 weeks I wouldn’t imagine they’ve had them all..?
Hey Zak! New puppy owner here (our girl is about 11 weeks). I was wondering what tips you may have to get our puppy socialized early on when we live in a very high parvo risk community? The vet told us she will need 5 rounds of the parvo vaccine and won’t be fully vaccinated until 5 months old, but I’m really worried that’ll be too late to socialize her. Any advice?
I'm looking forward to seeing Biscuits' progress. She is so smart!
Can't wait for this series
The joy when Zak brought out the little frisbee. 😂😁😁 That made my day!! As always excited for another series! 🐾
Thanks to your videos, I was able to train my 3 month old Bichon Frise pup! Biscuits is so cute! Thanks for all the educational videos!
Rough collie at 23:56? Mine loved rug corners and socks as a puppy. 😂
Will you do a DNA test on Biscuits? Curious to know her combination of breeds and how big she will get.
I'm a small dog owner. There's so much of training Biscuits I can relate to.
Small dogs rule! Ok I love big dogs too 😌
I am planning to train my future puppy and I can't wait to learn how to teach her these things that I'm learning in this episode with Biscuits.
She has my heart already
Josie is my first puppy . She looks almost identical to Biscuit! She and I love the videos!
Just got our 8 week old pup, this was so helpful!!
You are a master class trainer. Appreciate your insight. I have a 15 week old English Cream Golden Retriever. Training is going well. She's a smart girl, but sometimes she's just not interested in a treat. Should I just stop the session on those occasions?
Inertia looks like she really enjoys the puppy. I would love to see a video of a play session of just the two of them.
Aww , I love every episode, every dog you train , it’s so rewarding!
I laughed when you pulled out the mini frisbee! But it’s a good reminder that little dogs can do anything big ones can, including participate in dog sports. Looking forward to the rest of Biscuits’ episodes.
Also, when is Bree going to have her own TH-cam channel? I bet she could train a dog very well herself and would be fun to watch.
I would love to know more about that little frisbee! My Pom is 10 lbs now and I would love to try and teach him frisbee but I haven't been able to find one that is small and light enough!
I love west paw disc! Small and flexible. Not too hard!!
Great video! Thank you ☺️. I just love her sweet face and personality 🥰.
Love the training tip. I have two puppies and the have mastered sit but working on stay. Getting to stop biting has been hard. I have two long hair chihuahua and they are 12 weeks old. We have had them for two weeks now.
I loved the moment Zak pulled out the tiny pink frisbee! LOL!
Is parvo not a concern? Only asking cuz I have a 9 week old and I’m scared of her getting parvo from being out in public
it's always a risk when they go outside, even in your backyard. I'm guessing he knows instances of parvo in his area are low and that's why he he took her out (but when I get mine I'm definitely not going to risk it lol)
Ohhhh man! I wish I had this setiers 6 months ago! It’s so reassuring seeing every step!
Zak has done several series on puppy training, including one when they got Inertia 2 years ago (first full year) and another with a co-worker's doodle puppy that he had live with them for a few weeks.
Would it be ok to bring another dog along when introducing new environment? Or best to let her make her own decisions about things without influence?
Wow 👏👏so impressed with Biscuits…such a cutie pie..good job Zac !!
she is just the cutest puppy!! I can't wait for the rest of this series.
She is just the cutest!!!!
Ooooh she is absolutely adorable 😍
Hello 👋
awww I used to live in Alaska. I adopted an Amstaff from the Wasilla area. she is amazing.
That 30 days puppy course is great , we have tried it . 🐕But I think these small breed puppies are easier to train . 😄
Definitely not if you have a terrier!
“Biscuits is on a roll” Hah! Zach made a pun.
Great videos! I am learning lots by watching your videos. Could you do a video on the facts/fictions of dog dominance mistakes? examples like never letting them win in a game of tug of war, letting them climb on you while you're on your back, never have a staring contest and lose, etc.?
WOW. So appreciative. The care in these videos, the practices are so helpful! Thank you for the generous share of your knowledge.
Hello 👋
Yay new episode! Thanks for this series Zak! I'd love if you go over things like separation anxiety & shy puppies, my 4m old toy poodle is fearful of new people & situations, I'm always trying to socialize her but she barks at new people and hides behind me. She also is afraid of dogs...she is going to a puppy socialization class soon tho. She also seems to have mild separation anxiety, barks & whines constantly if left alone, even if she has toys & treats.
