You know, people complimenting the bike and asking what year it is, that speaks to something. Classic cars are still very much liked in terms of style, but you can't really get a NEW "classic" looking car. But with Harley (and Indian, Royal Enfield, and Triumph), you really can get a genuinely classic looking bike with modern safety and mechanical improvements. It's great, and almost exclusive to the motorcycle world. Ppl diss Harley for being "stuck in the past", but there's a demand for that, and I think it's good Harley always keeps a finger on the pulse of past design and keeps its spirit alive today. I got 401/1750, proud to have it.
Now if they could only feel that part of the "pulse of the people" screaming for the last 40 years that EVERY motorcycle they make is grossly overpriced!!
Great video. I got number 370 last week from Yeagers Cycle in Sedalia, Missouri. I wasn’t shopping for a new bike at all but when I saw her I fell in love and had to bring her home with me. I already have around 250 miles on her and couldn’t be happier.
This is my favorite revival bike so far. Thanks for the history lesson and including the designers. It’s nice to see the passion they have for Harley Davidson. Great video.
I’m a little late here, but I’m one of the lucky 1750. I got it because I’m a student of Harley history, I love throwback designs, and let’s face it, this bike is beautiful! It was a great choice for their Icons series, certainly better than an f-head silent gray fellow replica. I immediately had whitewalls put on mine to complete the look and I’m having a Screaming Eagle Stage I upgrade done next week, which I think is sufficient for this bike. Stage II+ I think would just make it more of a gas guzzler than I care for, so I’d save that for a lighter bobber-style bike that’s doing less touring. Conveniently, for aesthetic purposes, they swapped out the normal badged 114 air cleaner with a chromed-up 107 cleaner, and in doing so, they included the Stage I Screaming Eagle upgrade, so a Stage I upgrade is already partially complete out of the factory.
I really like this bikes style. I’m a millennial too. I rented the new all blacked out heritage and I loved it, but where was the chrome. I used to polish my dad’s Harley for fun, for fun, when I was a kid. Now I could get one just like dads, nice.
My brother went to buy that exact one ! Dealer needed to push 23’s they gave him a brand new one and put the deadwood skins on it for the used price ! lol
Absolutely love this bike. Went to see the first one in my area and fell for it hard. Unfortunately can’t spend the cash right now or it would have came home with me. Great channel and look forward to more!
Thanks brother, been looking for a nice but classic looking bike and this hit every button on what I want. Being in Australia I hope there isn’t too long a wait for one.
Man, Bjorn would be a cool guy to come and give a talk about Harley design to your bike club. I like that old-looking bike. I'm old enough to remember seeing those when I was a kid. They look to have it just right. Great video, John. Eric in Kissimmee
Was there any talk about a matching passenger seat and sissy bar pad,I have to be able to ride 2 up,but other than that its an awsome looking bike,I already have 2019 heritage with the 107 and that even has more than enough power,so for me It would depend on if I can make it for 2 up riding.
I have a Road King Classic, and I can attest to the looks people give you, and people coming up to you asking about the bike and complementing it. I mean, I can't blame 'em, because I bought it for a reason too. It's gorgeous. 😀 But I really didn't expect the attention people give it. Rode plenty of different bikes, and normally the only people that come up to you are those stereotypical older bikers, but riding a chrome "Elvis"-bike, well, it's a whole different world. 😀
Great video, nice having the designers interviewed and picking their brain on what goes into the process of picking and designing an era icon. I purchased the 2023 Highway King in Hi-Fi Orange.
Thanks for the dedication!!! I look forward to your Monday’s episode after work here on the WC!!! Please keep one hand on the bars…. For the new riders that watch your channel. (I take my hands off the bars all the time)😕
That has to be the most beautiful bike HD has put out in years. I'm not a fringe guy but have to tell you, it's stunning. Only thing that comes close is the 120th anniversary heritage in 2023. Add whitewalls and it's perfection. Make me miss the Deluxe.
I saw this bike when Shadetree reviewed it a few weeks ago and just fell in love with the look. Later that evening it was vike night at our HD dealership and it was just inside the door. Couldnt get enough of it. It is a gorgeous machine. If I rode 2 wheels this would be my bike of choice.
This is just a dolled up Heritage Classic. I love this bike though and I would love to have one. I have an 18 Heritage Anniversary model with the 114. I just wish I could afford to trade on this one.
Yes, and H-D was smart to make such simple modifications on a limited edition to open people's eyes to the model. I'll bet H-D will sell more of the regular Heritage models this year to those who want the retro look with more subtle style and less boulevard bling.
Saw one in real life a few weeks ago when I went to pick my bike up from the dealership. It looked amazing and I won't lie, I wanted it. Alas, there was a customer there test riding it for his old lady and they bought it.
I’m definitely not a boomer but I’m definitely in love with this bike! It’s a Beautiful design! If only I already paid off my truck and FXLRS I’d be all over this
I like the hydra glide and that electric air pump. I have a similar one, they work pretty good. New subscriber by the way. Recommended by someone in one of the Harley-Davidson groups I follow.
Good morning I have a question I have a 2023 heritage, and I would like to do a stage two With a cam. Is it possible to do that with the stock headers and a slip on exhaust from Tab performance? Your assistance is needed in the matter. Thank you
I have number 1647 love the bike love the looks just neededit white wall tires on it so had them put them on ,love it handled great great job just wish they would’ve done something different with the locks on the saddlebags being on top takes away from it
I think it is super dope!! Not really my style, but I really would like to see them come out with a modern knucklehead. Love that idea for sure! Thanks for the content bro
In 2003 at 47 I went to the past with ‘a classic’ a Sporster…2006 a Night Train and 2007 a Road King. Fast forward to 2023 at 67 a White Sand Pearl Low Rider ST, exhaust and cam. Full speed ‘ahead’ boys…no lookin’ backwards anymore for me!
I had to check one out at my HD Dealer . I love it the number on it is 746 I do believe. I would like to test ride it. Enjoy your videos. Have a good one 👍👍👊👊
Knuckle/Pan/Shovel/Evo option of hard or softail…..a historic line if you will. Personally I think it would be awesome. Let’s be honest it’s the look, feel, sound, customizability of them. Performance is not what people are paying for? You can get 4 times the performance for half the money elsewhere. But for those that remain brand loyal even tho the higher ups have lost they’re mind.Generational biker/builders it would be a huge hit! I not old by most standards but, knuckle would be my first choice! The boomers where shovels/Evo because it wasn’t until they where older that they could go out and get a newer ride?! Great review and topic of discussion! Thanks!!!
I'm glad H-D produced this particular Revival model. It has a little too much bling for my taste, but owing a regular blue/gray '23 Heritage it's making more people open their eyes to the Heritage model and check them out. They are fantastic riding motorcycles. The '24 alipne green Heritage is a very retro-esque color.
I absolutely fell hard for this bike. I purchased number 740 of 1750 from Speedway HD in North Carolina. Most beautiful bike Harley has made in my lifetime.
And people say HD is dying! Ha they are moving forward all the time and getting better. I love this bike if I could still ride this might be the bije. I’d like to see the Deluxe come back. Hint
My thoughts Block… I would love to see a 1940’s ICON bike with the S&S KN93 Complete Assembled OHV Engine. It’s not a M8 in terms of power, but I’d spend $30k for that.
Im surprised the guy from harley didnt mention the bike riders movie as a reason they mademodel considering on the harley website it states they made it in association with the movie
Been sayin that since the announcement of this program. They wouldnt be able to build em fast enough. They are really missin a big oppertunity if they dont do it next year.

I'm glad they made this bike. I know when I'm 60 years old and everything is electric and all futuristic I'm gunna want them to make a 2055 version of the Breakout. So I get why they made this. Some people want it. But what I DONT GET! is why the fuck are they not dropping the Bronx! 🤬

Really awesome to see that passion and enthusiasm! 🤘
I have a 2018 Heritage 114, and it's my favorite bike. It does everything good .
Yes!😉
That is probably the Swiss Army knife of the Harley Lineup.
I got 1744 of 1750… was not even in market for another bike, but absolutely love the look of the bike, rides great also… no regrets from me!!
That's awesome, congrats!
Thanks for the history on this bike. Saw it at Daytona Bike Week and loved it. Back in Canada, just bought #1616!
Finalmente una vera Harley Davidson con il suo stile inconfondibile acciaio colori e cuoio!! Bellissima e fedele alla tradizione

@user-ci9ji8mg6k he got a 114 instead of the 107 aswell.

Got one, picking it up first week of July, here in England.
My favorite Harley was my Deluxe. This Icon reminds me a lot of the Deluxe. The red is amazing.
Just added the Fanttik X9 Pro to my arsenal just before your video. I found it to be an awesome add. Glad they're on your side Block!
Beautiful bike, but it led to add a black/black Heritage with a Stage 3 kit to go beside my Whiskey Neat Road Glide CVO

Love these bikes and the highway kings… the old look does it for me… and out of all the reviews you are the first person to say it is a 114 engine. 🤙🤙

That’s my 7th HD I added to my collection. I bought it cause I like it!! Nothing more!! Hope it is gonna mantein the value… it is gorgeous
Just curious, you raved about the windshield, is that the same size as the stock windshield on the Heritage?
I think it is super dope!! Not really my style, but I really would like to see them come out with a modern knucklehead. Love that idea for sure! Thanks for the content bro
Number 676 in Northern VA... Love this bike--the ride, the comfort, the motor--beautiful bike from the MoCo!
Whats the height of the windshield block?.....
Man I love the highway king, awesome bike. This is a cool machine as well.
Gorgeous bike......love the retro look! Will be on the look out here in Oz to see if they made their way across the Pacific!!! 😎
I can remember in the 60's Harley used to have a Hydra Glide, Dual Glide & Electra Glide.
I get it it’s a cool bike, but bring back the Springers Springers are the coolest
the fringe was also used as a method of repair, it was like having tying material on hand.
🎉🎉🎉 amazing old school look keep rinding brother 🎉 the color red and white on it just wonderful💯🤘
Great review, loved all of the background information.
👊🏼🤠👊🏼
I have a 21 heritage and would love to get a tin set to go on it with the seat. Do you know if they sell it???

I like the concept. I hope more will follow. I can wait to drive a brand new GTI MkI!
What's difference between the highway king and this one besides name and cosmetics? Is the highway on a road king frame ? I have a 21 road king.
Looks to me like it is on a Heritage frame. Not sure of that though
This is a Softail, Heritage. The Highway King is a Road King. Different frames and lineup.

Love the bike amazing looking you did a great review on it. This could be my next bike
The missing left gas cap looks ridiculous! What was HD thinking?
What a beautiful bike. Nice review Blockhead.
Can anyone tell me what's ment by cvo models?
I have # 356. I named her Little Sexy. She is a glorified Heritage put together with lots of love.
Looks great. Like you said, it cool they revamp old style with modern tech. Car companies shoukd do the same.
Looks absolutely gorgeous!
Luv them old school looking Harleys BADASS 😎my brother i own a 2012 Dyna switchback with the 103 luv it 😎
HD did a fantastic job
This thing is mind blowingly beautiful 🤩
I absolutely fell hard for this bike. I purchased number 740 of 1750 from Speedway HD in North Carolina. Most beautiful bike Harley has made in my lifetime.
Good job!
Enjoy, brother!
Any planes on a road king build in the future?
Gorgeous bike and great review!

Look like a flame kaizer 🔥🔥
Love the colour
How about next year doing a 1980 sturgis, the bike that got me into Harley all those years ago.
My thoughts Block… I would love to see a 1940’s ICON bike with the S&S KN93 Complete Assembled OHV Engine. It’s not a M8 in terms of power, but I’d spend $30k for that.
I have #1692 i love it!!
I got #27. I was waiting for Harley to bring back the Deluxe but when Harley revealed this bike I had to place a deposit on it immediately.
Wish it had the actual pogo seat and the passenger pegs like the old bike
Ha! I've driven that road many times right by the track there.
The fring is not my thing, but i ride a road king and love the classic style.
Im surprised the guy from harley didnt mention the bike riders movie as a reason they mademodel considering on the harley website it states they made it in association with the movie
Tassels, well that was interesting history info, hate them but understand now 🤷♂️ Tell them where is my Sturgis icon bike.
That gauge should of came factory on the heritage classic, slim, and deluxe.
We had #1 at Manchester Harley.
I’ve got photo evidence
Another nice bike!
Modern Knuckle oh yea
Been sayin that since the announcement of this program. They wouldnt be able to build em fast enough. They are really missin a big oppertunity if they dont do it next year.
I watched this, and then went and picked up #1243/1750 !!
Ask em if u can they bringing the x300-x500 to America this year lol also great vid
Really makes me miss my '18 Heritage.
It’s a shame we don’t get to see that much Harley stuff in England like this
Beautiful!
It's a Heritage Classic with . . . well, more classic trim. Cool, I guess . . . . ???
Nice to see the shop sure miss the vibe
Highway King is my favorite so far. I’d give a testicle for one of those! 😅
