@@zynex9250 it's just to much verbiage in the book. Im a visual learner that way I correlate the symbols and make mental connections. Luckily I already aced the class. Amazing how some videos on youtube have better structure than actual instructors.
It's unreal how incredibly valuable these videos are and have been, especially over the last two years. You have not gotten anywhere near the recognition you deserve for putting so many hours into making these subjects accessible for everyone.

my teacher makes things unnecessarily complicated in a long lesson, this explained the concept in 10 minutes and I aced the exam, you're literally a god
I studied before lecture and my instructor mention things that was’t really worth mentioning. I could explain it in a few sentences while she was going into detail for each step. Great instructor but other students were left confused. All we need is the formula, and a little guidance. no need for fancy words or background history. Just need to be nice and simple. By nice, maybe have the conversions placed separately instead of writing it next to the formula.
For anyone who is stuck on how the they get 10^14 from 3*10^8/350*10^-9. Do 3/350, the answer is 8.57* 10^-3. then do 8-(-9)=10^17. simply add them 8.57*10^-3 + 10^17= 8.57*10^14.
@@henry.-.2183 Idk if you still needed help with this, but the 10^-3 is there because when you do 3/350 you get 0.00857. So you need to move the decimal over three places to get 8.57 hence the 10^-3
7 years later and your vids are still helping people each year. My AP chem teacher briefed over this once in class, and now our test including this is tomorrow. Thank you so much for these videos covering chemistry in such an understandable way :)
I love this guy I was in class the teacher asked me how I’m going to figure out these light problems for tomorrow and I said the Organic Chemistry Tutor and everyone in my class started laughing😂
Your videos have made it so much easier for me to understand chemistry. I have one request. I can barely hear your soft spoken voice even when I turn my volume all the up on my laptop. can you maybe turn up your microphone so I can hear you louder? thank again.
Your videos always clearly explain the ambiguous steps that I need spelled out! I'm so grateful for you and for these videos, I really appreciate them!!
I've said it before but I'll say it online. People learn at different speeds. And I can't stress enough the satisfaction of being able to pause my "teacher" when they say something like "okay solve this" to work it out best I can and then unpause them. As in my head I see my "teacher" getting the satisfaction of continually telling the subject to the best of their ability without the need to slow down. As at any moment I can pause or just use my left or right arrow key to go back and forth. Gods what an era we live in.
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor ,thank you for a solid analysis and explanation of the Speed of Light, Frequency, and Wavelength in General and AP Chemistry. Chemistry is used in all walks and phases of life on planet earth. Frequencies and Wavelengths are well known concepts in radio technology. This is an error free video/lecture on TH-cam TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
I forgot to do my homework in physics yesterday but because of you I can pass just right now. Your a solid teacher. Better than my teacher though... Thanks a lot💞
When you divide 3 by 350 you get .00857, when you subtract the powers you get 17 (since 8-(-9) is 8+9). So you have .00857*10^17, but this is not in scientific notation. For scientific notation you need a number between 1 and 10, .00857 is below 1 so you're going to have to simplifiy it further. Move the decimal 3 places to the right and you have 8.57, and the power will turn to 14 because you moved right three times.
@@simpatiko6392 because with exponent rules when exponents are being divided you treat them like theyre being subtracted. So in this case 8-12= -4 (also if they're being multiplied treat them like you're adding and add the two together, but that doesn't happen in this example.)
Thank you. I don't know if this two word thing can even explain how your video just vanished my headache that i got about 2hrs back trying to solve this single question from the past paper related to wavelength just thank you in loads 😭
at 4:11 "What is the frequency of a photon of light whose wavelength is 45nm?" @@hhj5019 If anyone is still wondering the only way I could get it is if I divided 300000000 by 2500000000000 (converted them from their exponential form) and I got 0.00012 and when you change that to exponential for you get the same answer as him because you move the decimal point 4 places to the right....this is why I hate chemistry 😩
For future questioners: you can divide the coefficients first. 3/2.5. That will get you 1.2. Then keep the 10 the same and just subtract the exponents, 8-12. That will get you 10^-4
