Do you know how to find the email address of the person who activation locked an iphone? I just bought a logic board and put it into my 5s frame, turns out it has activation lock on it. (not reported stolen). I tried crashing to the homescreen, but i think that might be patched. Any ideas?
you can literally stick any SIM card in there and it should work. I have an at&t 5s and I stuck an old t-mobile sim in and it worked. I sincerely hope your username doesn't express your actual views by the way
We kinda started a iPhone 4s (and 4) gang in my school. We have 4 members. Mine is the most luxurious (32GB) and best condition (no cracks just some light scratches). My friend found his the other day. Tomorrow we are testing if it works at our free period at school.

I have a destroy 4s that doesn’t work, a 16GB 4s on iOS 8.4.1, a 8gb 4s on iOS 7.0.4, and a 32gb 4 on iOS 5.1.1

You can do one of the following:
1. Borrow a sim card from one of your friends to get past the setup screen and then once you are on the home screen, you can eject the sim and use the phone as an iPod. (this works respectively with the carrier the phone is on. Ex: if its an AT&T phone, you will need an AT&T sim)
2. If you do not have a friend who is willing to let you borrow their sim or they simply do not have the sim for the respective carrier, you will have to hacktivate the phone meaning you will have a jailbroken version of iOS in order to get past the activation screen. There are different ways of doing it depending on which iOS the phone is running. I suggest you browse the net or youtube and see which method is easiest for you. Once again the term is "hacktivate" no I did not make this up myself.
That's all I know. Hope it helped you a bit and if you are unsure of what carrier its on then try multiple sims from alternate carriers.
THE MASTER I'm afraid the only way to do it without jailbreak is with the sim method. It is most likely that the phone is on AT&T because they were the only carrier back then to support sim card service for the iPhone 4. Also I do not know how to hacktivate myself as I activate all my phones with an AT&T sim. That's why there is youtube. BTW what carrier are you on?

My Iphone 4 had a ramdom shutting down issues if it was unplugged. No matter the porcentage of charge. Eventually turned off charging and never turned on again.
