Steel Banana Well, the themes and ideas of Tomb Raider were obviously heavily inspired by Indy movies but in terms of games TR was obviously the inspiration for this one.
When this came out, I can't overstate how excited it made us. THIS WAS INDY! FINALLY! Infernal Machine had some pretty great levels, but it was built on a creaky engine. The first time I fought in this game, and used the whip, I let out a cheer. Finally, finally we were Indiana Jones the way he was meant to be in a video game. It's a pity there haven't been any modern games with the license. I think there should be at least one more...and perhaps Harrison Ford could be persuaded to do the voice. But the guy who did the voice for this game was pretty great.
@@OddworldAuto yeah, I saw the announcement today. We can only hope that it actually gets completed and released, and that it's actually good... because now, they're going to have to sell Indy to a generation of gamers that have grown up on Uncharted. Nonuv Urbeeznus the LEGO Indy games are really fun though. Your statement is true but there is lots of action and adventure in that game and if you haven’t played it you should give it a go. My personal favorite LEGO game out of all of them
You try shooting the enemies and rather than shooting the enemies, you shoot the 2nd player that dose nothing but gets him self killed. You then get killed as you are attacking the wrong person.
You can tell a lot about a game's dedication to it's theme when you consistently have to google the title to make sure that you're not confusing it with one of the movies. Also, my Ancient History of China professor mentioned this game when talking about the first emperor and it made me so happy.
Bruh my childhood game!. I'm literally living in this country. Srilanka 🇱🇰. In earlier ages it was called CEYLON. It's the island beneth India. Man so wonderful experience by playing this game 😍
Brett Robart Prague was one of my favorite levels, for pushing Nazis off ledges. It was also fun to push them through the windows of the submarine base level.
Back in the day I actually timed every beat of this walkthrough as precisely as possible, especially the music. This way I could achieve the best possible experience for my viewers.
So many great aspects about the game - changing environment, combat, weapons falling down and enemies picking them up, cool kung fu moves by Chinese enemies, nice graphics (Fingers separated, not looking like a single block, facial expressions and so on) and of course the overall melee combat. Great and challenging game. One of the bet games which has draw influence from movies.
EarFarce4 Matrix Reloaded, Max Payne 2, Call of Duty, Splinter Cell, Chrome SpecForce etc. were some of the best visually looking games too just as this that I remember from that year.
Part of this was the demo level. I used to play it over and over again because I loved the fighting mechanics. I remember being under nitrous oxide at the dentist and my mam asked if I wanted a new game and I said this. I was the happiest kid alive getting 4 teeth pulled so my teeth would grow straight with a brace.
Revisiting this game via Xbox One backwards compatibility 15 years after I originally played it... it's still so great! So atmospheric, rich in detail, intense, great music etc. It will always have a special place in my heart [of the dragon].
