1) Franschhoek Wine Tram: the wine is delicious and affordable. And but taking the wine tram in Franschhoek you can see a lot of wineries in the wine region without worrying about drinking and driving. The best day trip from Cape Town! We booked this tour:

2) Hike Table Mountain: We went via the skeleton gorge hike and felt like we got to experience the best hike Table Mountain has to offer.
3) Diving: scuba diving with a seal colony (can also snorkel!) and diving in the kelp forest were some of our favorite dives!

I'm from Durban, never been to Cape Town.. the size of the mountain comes to life when you mention the time it took to to get up and from the peak to the station. Amazing

Yes, we were advised to plan at least 6 hours to reach the summit 🥵 and there were many people who were doing the whole loop (instead of the cable cars).
If you love hiking you’ll definitely enjoy Table Mountain! So many trails to choose from
