When Aldi first opened here in the midwest, the store was a real 'shit show' - and I've never been back. Rotting fruit, junky processed food in dilapidated freezer burned cardboard boxes, produce beyond comprehendable. A junky store all around. The prices were beyond cheap because it looked like they wanted to nearly give it away it was so bad. I didn't purchase anything but that was almost 25 - 30 years ago. By the looks of Aldi now in the background and on the shelves of this video - times have changed. Bravo to Aldi!

It’s crazy how much Aldi has improved since the 2000s. I hated the food growing up because it just wasn’t very good but by 2010 to 2015 they improved everything! I wish they had them where I live now.

@@BobbyParrish Can't exactly say that for all Northern Irish farmers. We did feed our cattle grains (Non--GMO) for the first 8 months alongside grass pasturing and hay. Now we just feed them hay during the winter.

All the land within 8 miles of my land is all grass pasture, no crops, so no one sprays land near me with anything bar NPK fertiliser in July to help grass grow. All the hay is the same, not sprayed with anything other than NPK fertiliser for a few days in July. Straw bedding is most likely sprayed but all that is composted after using to mitigate the possibility.

Aldi employee here. I don't think we want to become mostly organic, but we are definitely expanding our organic selection. We like giving our customers options, and organics tend to cost twice as much as the regular products. We still want to keep our reputation of having the lowest prices possible.
Used to travel to Ann Arbor and Chicago when I lived in Fort Wayne many years ago. Catcher I’m hoping it is similar to a Trader Joe’s because the closest Trader Joe’s is a good 20 miles from us and it’s a real trick to go there. Lol doesnt matter it's still pasteurized..milk yes the best to buy would be grass fed organic..but it is heated aka pasteurized which kills many nutrients and probiotics..
Aldi is my go-to store. I have ditched the big 2 supermarkets in Australia in favour of Aldi. Better pricing, smaller store, ease of getting around, better service. I can get in and out in 10-15 minutes. Very happy about their product range. Cheers mate.

If you ever do a potato chip video (#1 snack food in the USA) please include Route 11 Potato Chips. Super simple ingredients, not greasy, crunchy and delicious. All are gluten free and most are Non GMO. Thank you for showcasing ingredients/label reading. Love this video and Aldi. Great job!!!

Love this channel. I have a question about grass fed. How worried should we be on how the grass is treated and what is put into the grass/soil in terms of chemicals?

Everything has some amount of chemical to it.

I'm northern Irish. In winter we feed our cattle hay.

@@BobbyParrish Can't exactly say that for all Northern Irish farmers. We did feed our cattle grains (Non--GMO) for the first 8 months alongside grass pasturing and hay. Now we just feed them hay during the winter.

@@destinationunknown5225 No, my farmland gets no spraying. All the land within 8 miles of my land is all grass pasture, no crops, so no one sprays land near me with anything bar NPK fertiliser in July to help grass grow. All the hay is the same, not sprayed with anything other than NPK fertiliser for a few days in July.
Straw bedding is most likely sprayed but all that is composted after using to mitigate the possibility.

Aldi employee here.
I don't think we want to become mostly organic, but we are definitely expanding our organic selection. We like giving our customers options, and organics tend to cost twice as much as the regular products. We still want to keep our reputation of having the lowest prices possible.
They made a new Aldi in my city (richest city in my state) and it's all organic

Used to travel to Ann Arbor and Chicago when I lived in Fort Wayne many years ago. Catcher I’m hoping it is similar to a Trader Joe’s because the closest Trader Joe’s is a good 20 miles from us and it’s a real trick to go there. We keep hoping they will open one in Clearwater but till then we go once or twice a month to St. Petersburg here in Florida. Happy new year to everyone.

I’m lucky over here in Connecticut we have a big dairy store Stew Leonard the have there own 100 % organic grass fed butter and dairy 🥛
Lol doesnt matter it's still pasteurized..milk yes the best to buy would be grass fed organic..but it is heated aka pasteurized which kills many nutrients and probiotics..
My dream is to go to the Stew Leonard stir!! You are so lucky!

Aldi is my go-to store. I have ditched the big 2 supermarkets in Australia in favour of Aldi. Better pricing, smaller store, ease of getting around, better service. I can get in and out in 10-15 minutes. Very happy about their product range. Cheers mate.
I just got home from Aldi and loaded up on the biltong jerky. Our Aldi also started carrying humanely raised pasture raised eggs for $2.50 and I found Califia Farms for the first time today. Thank you so much for helping us eat clean!

I find it hard to believe you have an Aldis' in your city. It simply doesn't exist. However, you may have an ALDI. unless that's what you were trying to say but didn't pay attention to the title of the video or read the name on the front of the store or see any of the 500 comments before you that spelled it correctly. corporate renaming is like a disease if people see you do it then they'll do it and they'll think it's correct and suddenly no one saying it correctly anymore
