- KLX or DRZ manual clutch installation. This is a 2003 DRZ that is my sons practice bike, I did the kit to be an easy transition to his KX65 as far as learning how to use a clutch. The kit is super easy to install and well worth the money. We plan on adding the 143cc big bore kit with the 26mm carb and the race head, I believe I will also do the updated output shaft, complete bottom end bearing kit, 4 speed drum, timing chain, timing sprocket and the 55mm stroker crankshaft. I have already ordered a new exhaust and as soon as my son gets a little taller then we plan to add the Fast Ace inverted front end kit and the Piranha swingarm kit. All in all it could be about a three thousand dollar investment but Im doing all the work so I will know what I have and we should have a pretty fun little pit bike at the end.

In Malayasian we call This Bearings .... One way bearings ... Use Manual Clutch its good performance...
The KLX 110 engine same like KRISS 110 engine in our country MALAYSIA, just the body is different. Try search "MODENAS KRISS 110 ENGINE" and you will see the same engine 😁

Them some garbage clutch plates. I burn them out too fast
It removes 2lbs. Off the crank improving throttle response.
But may sacrifice the torque isn't?

Will it affect the torque? Autoclutch removed, less weight , less torque..isn't ?
If it affected the torque at all it’s so minimal that I can’t tell.

I haven't had to, it shifts just fine. I do plan on doing the 140cc kit so I'm going to add the 4th gear drum and I hear anything before 08 should also replace the output shaft with the new style.

Super easy, remove the break pedal, remove kick start lever, drain the oil, unscrew and remove the case cover (may need a rubber mallet for persuasion). Remove and replace clutch pads (soak them in oil for a few hours before is always suggested) remember the case cover screws are only like 8nm so almost no torque. You’ll be just fine man, good luck on your project!

Sir good day! Can i ask? Is it possible or is it okay to replace your centrifugal clutch assembly to a primary gear but still in a automatic clutch?

It will still be an auto clutch, you will only have to use the clutch handle when going from Neutral to first at a dead stop, going to 2nd and 3rd will still be the same as stock and down shifting will be the same as stock also. You just have to option of the clutch if you want for gears 2 and 3, obviously 4th if you add it or have the klx 110L
