Rubicon ZIS 150. It Does Truck Things.

- Looking for a new truck? Look no further than the ZIS 150, now in 28mm scale plastic from Rubicon Models! It doesn't actually function as a truck and you probably can't actually fit inside of it, but it's still pretty cool! Especially if you need a soviet truck for a tabletop game of some sort.

Nice 👍👍
Very nice sculpting detail on the cargo compartment cover. Looks very realistic. Good model and nice build.
It really is. The only problem is gaps, and they should only take a moment to deal with.
It’s a good looking model
Nice kit. It would look great in derptopian pink!
You're right! It would!
Parabéns pelo belo trabalho !
Who doesn't love the odd bit of "doo-dadery"?
Nobody! that's who!
great video, i really like the zis-150 design, and this is almost ideal - too bad it does not have an option without that entire canvas roof.
hope someone over at tamiya gets bored enough to release their version at some point within my lifetime.
You can build it without the canvas roof, though if you wanted the supports you'd have to figure out your own. That said, I'd love one of these from Tamiya, too.
@@HerbertErpaderp thanks, I caught a glimpse at 6:08 previously and assumed the open/closed canvas was the only variation for the back part. but it's all clear now, and i definitely have to get this kit.
Therapists are doctors too, sort of. While I’ve never had need of a therapist, if there was one that prescribed building plastic model kits, I might consider them worth bothering with.
I’m old enough that vehicles built to that aesthetic were still fairly common when I was a child but I thought they looked bulbous and silly, kind of like real world cartoons of cars and trucks. As I got older I came to appreciate their existence as a stage in the evolution of motor vehicles, so while they still look a bit silly I no longer consider that to be a bad thing. The model is a great example of the truck’s era, and the kit built up nicely with more detail than I would expect at that scale.
That is true enough. I suspect diversional therapy might be the place for model kits.
I Think there are sillier designs from around this truck's time, but I definitely see what you mean. I like these kind of things because they have some character to them.
What kind of pie are you talking about ?
The best kind. Meat.
