HI, one thing I only learnt recently. With the edit parameter interface panel open you can drag values from other nodes into the space and it will automatically connect them for you - save having to constantly create the type of parameter, copy paramenter, paste relative reference etc. Saves a lot of time when creating controller nulls and that sort of thing.

Wooooow thats a game changer and will save so much time!! Thanks a lot!

sometimes it won't allow you to do that, so you have to uncheck "forbid linking parameters from outside this subnet" in the cogwheel qt the top 👍

this was great! Thank you. Do you think it would be possible to somehow seed the positioning of the points and therefore create randomized vase shapes with one click? Also would it be possible to easily morph between the shapes of them if i for example had a few of them as seperate geometry?

Hi. I am following the tutorial. When you use the node "group expression," your point gets highlighted. Why can I not see it highlighted in my viewport?

Exported mp4 instead of mov and got a few artifacts on renders used in the vid. sorry :(

Hi, I have setup the attribvop, but when I initialize the node, the line is showing up as straight with no inputs from the ramp. Is there a substep I may have missed?

Make sure you add more points to the line, default is 2 but set it to 20

I don't know why so few people study Houdini in Russia, but it's very difficult to find friends with whom to share the experience. If you, like me, have just begun to study Houdini, then I will be very happy to join forces and together reach the top of the knowledge of this 3D software.

Hey spawn! This is Kevin hailing from the US, it'd be awesome to join forces! Any ideas for ways to connect and share learnings? Things that come to mind are reddit, instagram, discord, .. open to ideas! :)
