    I think the best thing you can do to fight burn out is simply make the content that YOU want to make. Forget the idea of "is it what people want to watch?". Make content YOU want to make! When YOU are enjoying yourself, people can tell. I hope you are able to push through it! I always enjoy your videos. 🙏

    You know man, we've never met and I dont know you, but this video really resonates.
    I hope you find a path that brings you joy, and I hope you keep making things that make you happy.
    For what its worth, your comment on the "grueling street fighter regimen day" that, against the odds, made you feel fulfilled... in my own experience, thats the secret. Sometimes, all it takes is just having a plan or a goal, and knowing you are accomplishing it (even if you never finish it... even if its kinda pointless... even if its just a placeholder for a better goal later). On that same token, Id love to hear more comentary on your street fighter journey - not the physical part or the "numbers" and "ranks" everyone talks about - but the psychological journey. Its something everyone in the FGC experiences, but only a handful really talk about.
    Lots of love, dude.

    Got laid off last year and it me a full year to find a job consistent with my career path. Prioritize yourself man, take care of yourself as best as you can, and just hold faith. That’s all any of us can do.

    I always really enjoy your work first and foremost because of your personality. Whatever helps you balance doing what you want and having financial stability in your life is undoubtedly the best move. As long as you're you, you're golden.

    Haven’t watched much of your content because I’ve already been in this mess for more than a decade, but loved this! Relatable

    Its nice to see an upload from you again
    The "living life as a bystander" segment hit the hardest for me. I'm going through college rn, and I see those around me move onto different stages of their lives, careers etc, while it takes my all to try not to fail classes and not pay to retake them. I wonder too when it will be me. I don't have an swear but there are people thinking the same thing as you. I'm glad to see how far you have come.
    All I can say is don't box yourself in and limit yourself.

    i honestly can’t blame you. i burned out hard on this game too. i don’t envy you for feeling like you have to make content for it.
    even though i dont play sf6 anymore, i still enjoy your insights on improvement in general, as many of the concepts in your videos are applicable outside of the game. hopefully you can figure out what you want to do in the future.

    Happy to hear the update. We've seen your content for awhile and there is great stuff there and it can seem overwhelming not getting the results at times. Would love to have you on the show to talk shop.

    One of your early subbers here. I joined up when you tried out Melty Blood. I appreciate it when you branched out and gave a solid effort to learn new games. I hope you find your balance. Whatever route you end up at, I hope you find your peace with it.

    hey man, I really enjoy your content, I've stopped playing street fighter a long time ago, but nvm, like to watch your clip from time to time, feels personal to yourself, even to the viewer.
    you helped me with understanding the fundamentals of getting better at a thing thru street fighter, because you were talking about mental side of the game and the process of getting better, anyways, hope you're good and keep it up

    Find your way with your pace, don't feel restricted by anything and anyone, find your time to enjoy yourself and find your happiness. The mad frenzy that is our society tries in every way to detach our intentions and conscience, we must try in every way to do something with intention, boosting our clarity to plan and live our futures.

    I know you might think what you said at the end came off as "egotistical" but having a healthy ego is a good thing! This ego can give you a barometer in which to measure your goals. You can tell the health of one's ego by the way they speak about others who may already be achieving the same goals as them too. You never say you DESERVE to be on the level Broski and Diaphone; you only say you WANT to be on that level. Like you said, it's good to draw inspiration from it. Hopefully things work out and you can continue to make the videos you want to make. I know quite a few of us will be here to support you when that time comes!

    If vtubers can make a living playing sf6 in japan on personality alone you can do it too. You dont gotta be punk but it doesn't hurt that punk is fucking funny in his commentary.

    i finally got a series X, after grinding sf4 for like 3 years. IM BORED, AND PLUS JURI TAKES NO SKILL- BASICALLY ISNT EVEN JURI ANYMORE. first thing came to my mind was U LMFAO. genuinely just be yourself PLEASE. i dont even engage with sf content anymore cause its all rinse wash repeats. my love for street fighter will NEVER die, and i realize that change isnt the enemy, but rather my emotions towards said change. i recently watched a video with pharrell, and he said something that stuck with me. along the lines of, like, "deep, and complex emotions that dictate your mood are just distractions" .. perhaps the declines from jobs are distractions from what really sticks to your heart and passions- what you REALLY wanna do. fuck the algo, we wanna see what YOU have to say

    I'm not a content creator, but I make music, so I've gone through a lot of what you are going through.
    You will be fine, whether it's on TH-cam, or elsewhere it will work out in the end.

    Elena fan?!!??!! OvO
    I love Elena but like sf3 specifically
    Also I feel that man I’ve been struggling with felling like I’ll never be good enough at fighting games to go pro but realistically they have so much more hours and time and there’s no “easy solution” to being 10000x better but you have to just push through, that’s what I’m trying to do at least… (I hope it’s working)

    What changes do you think should be made to sf6 to make it better.
    Also, sf5 was shitty in the beginning, no? I feel like there is so much historical revision about sf6's early years and sf5's

  • @problemsnearyou8899
    @problemsnearyou8899 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I think, in a nice way, you’re coping . People say the game is bad or boring, yet don’t want to get away from it . That shows me that people love the game but aren’t happy with their success . They expect to be better than the position we’re in . If you lost or are losing, that should mean you can learn something . Learning should be fun . Learning leads to wins

    • @ekwensu8797
      @ekwensu8797 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @problemsnearyou8899 so many content creators making videos for a game that supposedly burnt their crops and poisoned their water supply lol.
      Game has issues for sure but after sf5 s1 and s2 you'd think players would be less hyperbolic in calling sf6 the worst street fighter. Or they'd actually play something they like. Or they'd making videos explaining why theh don't like it in a way that can be used for healthy discussion rather than "game sucks".

  • @3rawan
    @3rawan หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    First and foremost you need to enjoy the game to make content on it. If you don’t and force yourself to, it becomes a job and not an enjoyable one at that. I think I understand why you might do it though. Your identity is wrapped up with the series and has been for a while now but you’re more than that. We all need to find balance in our lives. Take care of the important things in your life first like your wellbeing (mental and physical), relationships and work. Other things can wait and honestly seem so trivial by comparison. But then again, I’m just some internet rando, who am I to tell you what to do 😂

    Honestly man just do reaction videos. They are easy and people watch them. You can be yourself on them. I have seem people do that and get views and donations. Just a thought.
