Hi guys, might be important to point out that HDRP only is viable with PCVR and not standalone like mentionned at 4:10. Unfortunately, using the visuals settings from HDRP is too costly for a standalone headset to use but maybe I can talk about how to make the best graphics for Standalone in a future video ! :)
Just rejoined your Patreon. Look forward to seeing a good, detailed tutorial on Unity ver6, for Quest 3 multiplayer. Using what appears to be a cool looking multiplayer helper. Lol just went in circles misunderstanding something for a good few hours.
I have a multi-million polygon models in my scene that I totally struggle with to bring on a Quest 3. The scene/vision shakes incredibly in the beginning. As you can tell I'm a total newbie... A video on how to best approach it would be super appreciated!..
Hi thanks for the feedback, I talked a bit about this here at 4:10 but yeah unfortunately HDRP is only viable for PCVR because it takes too much ressources. :/
+1 I think a critical missing part of this video is to explain the hardware gap today on the Apple Vison Pro and Quest 3, and to speculate on how many generations of mobile hardware before this will be possible.
Cool!!! Do I need a link cable to use the computer's video card to see it in this quality or is it possible to simply create an APK file and transfer it to Quest without a computer
Is it possible to develop a game for both pcvr and for standalone (with lower quality) in parallel or is it too much work to port it and you're better off doing it separately?
Of course not standalone :/ So you need a good machine for this Hope to see a video of improving as much as possible standalone graphics soon! Great tutorials btw! Thankssssss

Yes I would love that. Especially for humanoid characters!
Wow, I would love if you made a video on how to have the best graphics in meta quests
Very valuable info. A video on best graphics for standalone would be appreciated. Guess Quest 3 handles quite a bit more than Quest 2.
Yes please. Making graphics for VR standalone look good is pretty tricky
Just tried it out and it looks amazing! Thanks❤

Would be grateful for clarification regarding if this needs PCVR to work or if it would run on a Quest 3 standalone.

of course no HDRP for stand alone application yet.... super video btw..as usual 😉
Wait so this will only work for PC VR and not Standalone?

Hi ! :D Yes you need to connect your Quest to a computer with Meta Link. Standalone is not powerful enough for HDRP :s
very useful tutor!
gi cant figure this out.. that interaction kit has been updated and does not have that prefab program you are using
What GPU you have? I think 72 is a very good frame rate for that good looking graphics.
Im following the lets make a vr game tutorial series, are the models in the starter assets on episode 1 able to be used in a full game?
wrong video to ask this dont u think

I have a notebook with a 2070 Super, and it doesn’t run that smoothly 🥲. What are your PC specs?
Of course not standalone :/
So you need a good machine for this
