5:02 Referee needs to be retrained. Its not the referees job to encourage the fighter to get back into the fight. Akiyama has turned his back and hes slumped on the ropes. Keep counting to 10, if he hasnt turned around, then hes not ready to fight and its a KO.
By stopping at 8, patting him on the back and encouraging him to keep fighting , youre failing your duty to protect the fighter. Also, its unfair for the opposing fighter who should be getting a KO win at that point.
Even if a fighter gets up after a knockdown and looks healthy, if hes turned his back then it means he doesnt want to fight. And if he doesnt want to fight, the fights over

not really, his evasion was fine in the corner, what happened in r3 is that he got hit with a liver shot and was stunned, unable to do much. most people go down and lose the fight with those type of shots and superlek managed to stay up.

Then the punches came I have to say he's tough because he even got hit clean behind the ear ,when he moved away so awkward with his back turned. Most would have been finished of by those shots

And most Japanese spectators till today deny to perceive any other realities but that Japanese fighters are the best in universe despite how wrecked they had became in reality. They just stay alive and awaken that always guaranteed winning from Japanese referees' verdict. And they always fail to perceive on how Japanese fighters are so meh out of Japan, out of their *robbery*
