@@ginaskowronski4942 if that's so why not select a different song to perform. It's a total disrespect to the artist who wrote and arranged this masterpiece.
Rip headphone users at the beginning. My eardrums, murdered by chairs before they could even start. Great job though.looks like you all had fun too, which of course is the most important part!
we also didnt change the words....and it was actually a whole queen show with this crazy little thing called love, another one bites the dust, acapella seaside rendezvous and acapella we are the champions
I can't hear the soprano part in the intro D: (it starts on a B flat) And the diction and tempo changes are just....Blah..I mean, there was obviously tons of effort put into this, it's Queen, and it's insanely hard, but that's why you have to pay a LOT of attention to it....:3
Blue Diamond the most important thing is the singing. On the one hand dancing is important but on the other hand if they can’t sing they’re not really a choir
Traditional show choir, created in the Midwest state of Indiana.... didn’t have that much Dancing. You type three diff groups with VERY Different styles of show choir. This group is in a choir room. There’s clearly not room for them to be full out. Grow up.
Was this like a rehearsal or practice, for the song or concert, you guys did an awesome job, watching you guys, and hearing Freddie Mercury, at first, Freddie starts solo, then eventually, when the opera part starts, the rest of Queen, start singing, love the way you guys, also added choreograph to the song, well planned, do you guys know any other songs, from Queen or any other performer,👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎶🎵🎼
@calispiker7 The producers of Glee actually modeled the choir room from a public school in Burbank California named John Burroughs high school who has a nationally known Show choir named Powerhouse who were the inspiration of the show and the version of Bohemian Rhapsody song on Glee is a different arrangement. These guys sound good though. Just wish they had an awesome soloist and better choreo but then again with the space they had, idont blame them but they did an awesome job.
@colonelphotograph I was in this like.. 2 years ago. It's not their decision to cut that part. That was how the music was written, and you are not allowed to make edits in competitions like FVA solo/ensemble.
My heart swells for joy...hahaha, I'm just a teen myself, and I could only but WISH our choir could sound and try as hard like this. I can't believe people would say you guys sound bad. Great job!
@TheTwinWhoLovesMusic Its alright. =D well its good to see someone else shares my view. you sound a lot like a girl who goes to my school actually. i think christian music is classic and was a part of life for a lot of people. its very beautiful and i think people should be able to sing it outside of just churches.
@rocketsparklegirl our choir sings highly religious music. it's a given. if you don't like the music then it's just your problem. no one at our school actually cares that we sing christian choral music. it's what's sung. Even if you're athiest, it doesn't make a different if you sing it in choir, sing choir is such a privilege to be in. only the best get in, so we take what's given to us. we all like the music, because regardless of it's origins, it is beautiful music.
LOL. At the idiots in the comments saying dip-thong. That is not a word. However diphthong is a word. Don't correct them falsely please. Plus I'm pretty sur they're a middle school choir anyway
@Bajabeachtan if they didn't pronounce their words that way, their pitches would suffer greatly. Clear pronunciation is something a choir group HAS to have in order to sing/sound in tune.
The pianist is trying really hard to keep them from speeding up starting at 2:30, but they have no internal tempo as a group. They end up running away and slowing down, leaving the accompanist to play catch up. I know that's her job, but as a music teacher, that's one of the things that stands out the most to me. There are other aspects as well, but TH-cam won't let me write that much :D
She is doing what is necessary for EVERY show choir performer. You need to be over-the-top with acting. Or else, you look boring and people will fall asleep to your show at competitions.
horrible my show choir did this with much more people and much more sparkle on our dresses with hxc choreography and AH mazing chords and solos and i live rock band and light show it was boss i wish there was a vid on here
@TheTwinWhoLovesMusic no no! thats not my point! and no im not an athiest, im christian and i love singing any type of hym. what im trying to say is that i LOVE christian music and i think its unfair that so many schools bann it because it offends certain people! good music is good music regardless if ur muslm, jewish, christian, athiest, buhdist (i probly spelled that wrong) or anything else!
@TickleMePurplee Yeah... It sucks. It's like my choir is singing this song too and they don't have that part in the sheet music at all. Apparently it's too "violent" to sing in school.
I like seeing the Solfege on the wall, and the students still get to perform Queen. These kids are really learning something.
beautifully done!! great chords guys!!
wow! our college choir did this song for our Christmas concert. i love singing this...
They did so good!!!! This choir rocks!!!!!!
Vocals are amazing!
Uhhhh... Where did the ENTIRE FIRST VERSE go?????
Nicole Wyers they’re in a school and the first verse talks about shooting and killing so they had to get rid of it
@@ginaskowronski4942 if that's so why not select a different song to perform. It's a total disrespect to the artist who wrote and arranged this masterpiece.
My school did Bohemian Rhapsody and we didn’t cut anything out, but it just depends I guess
Oh okay. Well regardless of where you normally preform or where you preformed now you guys are FANTASTIC! :]
Great vocals. Well done All!
Rip headphone users at the beginning. My eardrums, murdered by chairs before they could even start. Great job though.looks like you all had fun too, which of course is the most important part!
It´s really brilliant! Congrats!!!!
BEAUTIFUL
great singing! it actually gave me chills!
i love this song
our high school show choir did this for our first performance this year but our choreography took longer and was a lot harder, but it was great.
so much fun!
AWESOME CHOREOGRAPHY!
sitting is so practical for show choir.
You do sound amazing, though.
awesome coversong talk about class participation they are all superstars in my book
That was REALLY good! You all did soooooo good!
The singing was amazing! But, please tell me this wasn't part of a varsity show...
Very good quality and harmony!
God the BLENDDDD AND VOWELS
to be quite honest, the harmonies were awesome!
A minute in and I already liked. This is way better than most I've seen
Currently 3:30 in...I changed my mind. They sound good. Do not perform good tho.
Meg Griffon lol ikr
wait...what? HAHA
great¡¡¡¡ is fantastyc
i had goosebumps the whole time! awesome job!
we also didnt change the words....and it was actually a whole queen show with this crazy little thing called love, another one bites the dust, acapella seaside rendezvous and acapella we are the champions
that was awesome i loved it this is the first real shgow choir i ever saw but spectacular introduced me to the show choir world
@klosch84 THANK YOU!!!!!!! exactly my point!! nice to know someone else out there is supportive
WONDERFOUL

Emma Georgiou Cutting the entire first verse was a dumb idea as well. The second one makes very little sense without it.
Hate to break it to you but is this even a show choir? They sit 50% of the song. Check out a show choir like Powerhouse. Spectrum. Riverside.
Blue Diamond the most important thing is the singing. On the one hand dancing is important but on the other hand if they can’t sing they’re not really a choir

great work! how i wish my choir is like this too...
that's just awesome!!!
@TheTwinWhoLovesMusic *since choir is such a privilege to be in
enjoyed watching that!
Love it!
omg i gotta sing this in chorus in may im terrified we dont sound half as good as you guys . im like the whole alto section hahah .
Was this like a rehearsal or practice, for the song or concert, you guys did an awesome job, watching you guys, and hearing Freddie Mercury, at first, Freddie starts solo, then eventually, when the opera part starts, the rest of Queen, start singing, love the way you guys, also added choreograph to the song, well planned, do you guys know any other songs, from Queen or any other performer,👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎶🎵🎼
amazing!
I cried.
lol the fast part dance was funny, great harmony... well done:)
wow talk about rock class 101 this show is awesome
Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
THIS IS AWESOME
AAHHHH THAT WAS SO ENTERTAINING.
Coolest thing EVER! If our show choir was that cool, we'd be cool. O_o
@calispiker7 The producers of Glee actually modeled the choir room from a public school in Burbank California named John Burroughs high school who has a nationally known Show choir named Powerhouse who were the inspiration of the show and the version of Bohemian Rhapsody song on Glee is a different arrangement. That was damn awesome!
This made my whole day. =D
I loved it !
wow, I think it's awesome!!!
you kids are so cool.
great!
don't listen to the haters. they will always be there.
@TickleMePurplee they had to (when I was in middle school show choir we did this too) because thats how it was written in the book D:
TALLER VOWELS AND SING THE SAME NOTES GOD DAMMIT THANK YOU
@colonelphotograph
I was in this like.. 2 years ago. It's not their decision to cut that part. That was how the music was written, and you are not allowed to make edits in competitions like FVA solo/ensemble.
Though the dance is adorable. I do credit them for that
My heart swells for joy...hahaha, I'm just a teen myself, and I could only but WISH our choir could sound and try as hard like this. I can't believe people would say you guys sound bad.
Great job!
great!
Arranged by Mark Brymer? I met and worked with him at Show Choir Camps of America in Decatur, Illinois 2010
@TheTwinWhoLovesMusic Its alright. =D well its good to see someone else shares my view. you sound a lot like a girl who goes to my school actually. i think christian music is classic and was a part of life for a lot of people. its very beautiful and i think people should be able to sing it outside of just churches.
Well, we only had like... 2 rehearsals in total before performing this. I wish we had longer to work things out.
Oh wow I really like this. I'm suggesting this to my choir teacher. :)
Lol i loved this! The high voices are the closest to the original song out of all the vids ^__^
inodoro7 what high voices
wow!! i really like this!
whoao you guys are ammazingg:DDDDDDDDDDDDD
@TickleMePurplee Every chorus does that, don't know why. We won't do it, anyways, that's one of my favorite parts.
The dancing ruined the meaning of the song actually.
@rocketsparklegirl our choir sings highly religious music. it's a given. if you don't like the music then it's just your problem. no one at our school actually cares that we sing christian choral music. it's what's sung. Jesus tap dancing christ, people theyre in high school. This was fucking beast for a high school choir
Ian Randolph not if you’ve seen a real show choir
We're doing this in normal choir!!!!!!!!!!!
Thought it was those bloody rebellion extinction knobheads for a minute..
@Tvrkan It might be because it's a rather sensitive line. I'm just stating the possibilities where a student's mom might have killed a man?
Did they intentionally skip the first verse???
Yes, they had to skip it because they are singing the Show choir version.
かんぐちあき yes and also there in a school the first part was too inappropriate for school because it talks about shootings and violence
And, the ending ("Nothing really matters") is not straigt, the "re" in really is shorter and the "lly" in really is longer. Same with matter.
Need a great solo and a band!
@sakurasfullofcats
I think my choir has the exact same arrangement, it cuts out the first verse :(
we are adding it back in :)
Great! Just sad that it was only with piano. Somehow feels half empty. Oh, and the 4th girl from the left!? What was that!
LOL. At the idiots in the comments saying dip-thong. That is not a word. However diphthong is a word. Don't correct them falsely please. Plus I'm pretty sur they're a middle school choir anyway
why miss out the killed a man bit.... its the best bit
i wish totin was in this....
what is up with the flat shoes ladies?
Ah, agreed.
@Bajabeachtan if they didn't pronounce their words that way, their pitches would suffer greatly. Clear pronunciation is something a choir group HAS to have in order to sing/sound in tune.

pretty good! good job! :)
Was the last half of the video really necassary??
get to sing this song for our choir... an me and my friends get to play the guitar parts... mother fuckers!!!
@mbutler3907 That "slowing down" happens in the real song...
elite energy is so much better
Somewhere in the distance a Quinn Fabray is giving birth
this is great...the pianist kinda hosed the breakdown tho haha
@rocketsparklegirl Unless you're Canadian, that couldn't be. :-P
@TickleMePurplee Agreed :( And even more sad when we see that the video lasts around 10 minutes. They would have had time to perform it entirely.
Why does that matter so much to you?
She is doing what is necessary for EVERY show choir performer. You need to be over-the-top with acting. Or else, you look boring and people will fall asleep to your show at competitions.
The skipped the whole first verse!
horrible my show choir did this with much more people and much more sparkle on our dresses with hxc choreography and AH mazing chords and solos and i live rock band and light show it was boss i wish there was a vid on here
If you are going to perform a number you should sing as written. If you don't feel comfortable with it perhaps you should select a different song. >
They were singing the show choir version. And in the show choir version, it was cut out intentionally.
My chorus did this two years ago... and failed miserably. You did amazing tho.
@TheTwinWhoLovesMusic no no! thats not my point! and no im not an athiest, im christian and i love singing any type of hym. what im trying to say is that i LOVE christian music and i think its unfair that so many schools bann it because it offends certain people! good music is good music regardless if ur muslm, jewish, christian, athiest, buhdist (i probly spelled that wrong) or anything else!
hahahaha this is weird. my show choir also did this song, and we also have similar outfits!
@TickleMePurplee Yeah... It sucks. It's like my choir is singing this song too and they don't have that part in the sheet music at all. Apparently it's too "violent" to sing in school.
