    I'm using tumeric for all. Then garlic and fine chopped dried parsley for one batch. Dates and Cilantro for another batch. Turned out amazing. Had 3 cheeses.

      Did not have the oil. I did roast the garlic in a pan prior. Had dried herbs that u fine chopped. Chopped the dates in fine pieces.
      Never eating cow cheeses again. This is healthy and kind to animals. The suffering cow mommy's endure when new born babies are ripped from them, so we have milk and cheese is horrid.

    Maria, you can add a a spoon of pimento peppers diced from a jar or some of the red peppers that come in the jar that are whole. Put about a fourth of a pepper. It will add a nice sharp cheese flavor and more red color which will make it a deeper Orange. It's an extra nice touch. Try it!

      The cellulose bean skins aren’t digestible, which is not a bad thing in itself, but they can lead to bloating in people with sensitive digestive systems. Though I don’t mind the skins, I always peel them, because my elderly mother lives with me and they would bother her.
      Should you choose to peel them, it’s easiest if you keep them in water; the skin will separate more readily if wet. Practice a bit and you’ll find that a quick pinch will pop the bean right out of its skin.

    What you made is a variaton of what in the United Kingdom is called pease pudding or pease porridge, which is made from legumes like split peas, red lentils, or chick peas. Tofu requires the use of a coagulant. Pease pudding/pease porridge can be seasoned in a variety of ways. Vegetable broth can be substituted for the water. Pease pudding/pease porridge has a long history going back to ancient times. You may have heard the nursery rhyme, "Pease pudding hot, peae pudding cold, pease pudding in the pot, nine days old!" It is found in other regions of the world under different names. A variation of pease pudding/pease porridge can be made from gram or besan, chickpea/garbanzo bean flour, or sattu, toasted chickpea flour.

      what i used was annato seeds, what i do is take some oil in a sauce pan and throw a handful of annatto seeds in it and bring to a boil, once it starts to boil i right away turn it of and you will see all the color of the annatto seeds coming out and your oil will turn almost dark orange, almost reddish, But it's optional, you can use turmeric instead to give it more color. It's mostly for color y use the annatto oil, I guess i should make a video on how to get color out of annatto seeds :)

      Nutritional yeast is a deactivated yeast, which means yeast cells are killed during processing and inactive in the final product.
      It’s described as having a nutty, cheesy, and savory flavor. It’s a common vegan cheese substitute.
      Nutritional yeast comes in the form of powder or flakes. It’s an excellent source of many vitamins and minerals. It also offers a number of potential health benefits.

      @@MariasHealthyCooking It has dried chickpeas, but doesn't say how much you would use if it was flour. Like if I purchased it.

      I didn't make it yet. I'm just saying it would of been helpful to see what the texture looks, if it can be grated, sliced or melted. Also some examples of what you use it on.

      @MariasHealthyCooking  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does shred and slice, but i doubt it would melt, i have not tried it.

      Did you follow exactly how i did, Unless you put to much water, BUT even though it should be firm , Or soft firm or extra firm, there shouldn't be any reason for it not to come out right

    • @MariasHealthyCooking

      The nutritional yeast is for flavour, of a bit of cheese, but honestly, there is nothing out there that would actually would taste like cheese, trust me i tried. This is more like tofu or burmese style.

      @@blessings7226 you don't have to add the nutritional yeast if you don't want, it's just for a bit of cheese taste
