Escentric Molecules Molecule 05 And Escentric 05 Fragrance Review
Today I'm speaking about the latest Escentric Molecules duo of Molecule 05 and Esfentric 05 as these are the two latest releases from Escentric Molecules focusing on Cashmeran. The synthetic note Cashmeran was discovered in the 1970s by IFF. It smells woody, musky but more than just smelling woody and musky, it’s also spicy and somewhat smelling of resins and balsams. To me Cashmeran is very earthy and smells somewhat of damp woody earth, almost like mushrooms, It's a complex note in which you can also pick up some slight Fruity and Vanillic characteristics with Cashmeran. So today I break down Escentric Molecules Molecule 05 and Escentric 05. But also mention the 4 previous Escentric Molecules releases that came prior to 05 as you see below.

Tried escentric a couple a weeks ago,and i must say i really like it.A summer winner.
Notes on Escentric 05 (Escentric) sounds awesome to me. Sebastians Review are always worth listening and kind of indepth. In past I have bought Guerlain Vetiver Extreme, after listening to Sebastian, and I enjoy the fragrance a lot. And as far as Michelyn Camen's Q&A is concerned, it has detailed ingredients of fragrance, that sounds a wonderful combination to me. I have this wonderful Cashmeran candle that is superb. Smells of sweet woods and musks; wish I could add Molecule 05 to the mix.
I layer cashmeran with leather fragrances and the result is amazing. Good job IFF!

I had heard of all of the Escenteic Molecules fragrances including the two #5s. I had read a previous piece in Cafleurebon about Molecule 05 and Cashmeran. I havent tried any yet however, but would certainly like to check them out. Not sure if id know exactly which molecule to layer with what fragrance. That could be a future topic for you different layering combos with each Molecule fragrance. Thanks Sebastian.

I have tried all of the other eccentric molecule fragrances, but I personally don't any yet. I have smelled cashmeran in fragrances...it is very popular in modern fragrances. Eccentric Molecule 05 sounds better with more notes blending together.

I have favorite outdoors hobby: mushrooms picking in beautiful forest!!! So, how I can experience my favorite hobby mushrooms picking staying home 😷??? Now, I know 🙋I can just open bottle of Molecule 05 or Escentric 05 focusing on Cashmeran and there's it- my wish come true! This fragragrance super interesting, smells woody, musky, complex balsams, resins ,fresh spicy, even fruity and vanillic. It's great for layering!!!! Molecul 05 cashmiran can give you opportunity to visit forest, woods, pick some mushrooms if you liked it and still stay safe home in the same time 👍😉.

I just got a sample of 05 a few days ago and to me it smells like a pine forest. Like Lake Tahoe. I’m not too crazy about it but the Escentric 05 sounds interesting. I love 04 and 01!

I generally as '' rule of thumb '', do not by eat, but I have heard that these eat have good longevity. Most of my fragrances are edp and starting to err towards Parfum.

Love all things Woody & musky but I've yet to find one that is strong enough. Musk scents always leave me wanting.

I’ve actually never dived into a line like this focusing on one note and/or synthetic! I’ll have to go smell it when the world is not burning!

01 and 04 are my faves. And Cashmere Wood I feel like is the same thing as Cashmeran yes! :)

No definitely not. This is a strong one. I would go with 01, 02 or even 04 but most likely just 01/02 at the gym. The others are strong to me! :)
I’ve got this two molecules couple days ago molecule 05 nothing just like water I can’t smell it 🤷🏻♂️ Escentric 05 super nice but in 1,5-2 hours left from my body at all 🤷🏻♂️ . So for 150$ price . Don’t waist you money
Sebastian, does that pine resin character goes strong or its just subtle in M5? I'm tempted to blind buy but I dont want it to smell anything like Pino Silvestre.
Update! Blind bought both of 05's, hopefully I'm gonna like it as much as I like M02. It will arrive tomorrow.

@@xuancong1998 honestly I didnt like it. I wrote a small review on Fragnatica Page about M05 if you wish to know more. Honestly I prefer E05 Instead of M05.
@@petarmolnar14 Me too! I feel M05 a bit too piney, if that makes sense, but the E05 is amazing! A clean, creamy, mildly fresh, transparent smell, which is a big surprise for me, because I tend to like more the Molecule versions, and I was hoping that the Cashmeran as as complex as the Ambroxan, but for me it isn't. I smell cashmeran more like a wet tree, not in a particularly good way.
The only one I have from Geza Schoen is Kinski. These might be worth exploring.

@@ThePerfumeGuy Some years ago I had a sample of molecule 01 but it made me smell like a greasy mechanic! Anyway that's how I smelled it on myself although no one made any such comment.
I tried both of them. Sadly, Molecule 05, smelled like dirt on my skin. However, Escentric 05 is lovely, and I ordered a bottle. I am also a fan of this line, and really wanted to love both of these, but just not a fan of Molecule 05.

Like the basenote of Dior Sauvage, without the levander, pepper, etc. A warm, bit musky, salty smell.

It's a molecular musk so it's close to the skin but has good staying power for me.
