I like this one.. Because the Storylines you are expecting .. Did not show it. Best Twist..Its like that book. Dangerous Game.. I will watch this if Millar adapt this in to a Cinematic universe like Kick-ass, Kingsman..👍👍
To me the ending makes sense if you imagine it like this... the real "nemesis" and head of the "Company" is Walter Sampson aka. Brain Wave!!!; brother of The Utopian. Brainwave actually became a bad guy in Jupiter's Legacy... At the end of this comic, with his signature beard, he was at his favorite beach (where he brought Repro) relishing in his villainous achievement to destroy society and have the world controlled by super powered people (Magneto vibes). Who else can convince a normal person to believe they can become super villains and/or make people think they were acting 10 years prior... only Walter Sampson who can control minds and plant false memories. Great comic if you look at it that way.
The problem with this is that it takes place in the world of Wanted, and in that world all the heroes were erased, killed, or brainwashed to become actors
Yeah this is by far my least favorite Millarworld title. It’s a shame this story is the one Millar got Steve McNiven to draw. Nemesis just doesn’t deserve art that amazing.
This might have been a good story if Miller could've just resisted the urge to be quite so edgy. The gay incest baby was just a step too far and for me anyways, just taints the whole thing.
