Looks badass bro😮💨😮💨but its not a 4/6 drop bro its more like a 2/4 or 3/5 its forsure going to ride better than 4/6 tho since its gonna have more room under usually on these trucks 4/6 or 5/7 leaves almost no gap on the wheels. But either way this look clean asf🔥🔥
Just did a 3/5 drop on my 16 rcsb silverado from ihc. The kit dropped it ALOT lower than i thought it would so i ordered 1.5" lift shackes, add-a-leaf, bags, and front spacers so i could drive without c notch or scrubing the front wheel liners. My truck looked like the after version of this with just a 3 inch drop shackle.
This is actually set at a 3/5 man. For the back to be a 6” drop the hanger has extra holes where you can move it up. Then the front the most you can get out of those struts is a 3” drop if you don’t use any of the rings. You would have had to use their 2” drop spindles to be at 4” or 5”.
Thats what i was thinking too. I did a 2/4 drop on my 18 sierra 4x4 and it sits lower than this. Just did 2” coils in the front and removed my rear blocks and added 2” drop shackles.
They used the wrong kit I think and put it on back words. With those hangers ur supposed to be able to use a drop shackle at the lowest setting for a 4” go one up for the 5” and use the stock one for the 6”
I think you pretty much used the kit for an extended cab or crew cab.. on a single cab you only use the 6 parts that come on the flip kit. 3 on each side . And the shackle hanger , you use the on the older trucks , 99-07 classic
@Justin Rodriguez you was on 5” rubbing on stocks and had to raise it back up right? Cuz you cant afford tubs, or you dont know what tubs are cuz u aint even low😂😂😂
That go down 3” and I don’t recommend doing that because u will have hella camber. I did that and now I have to go back add some spacers then add a drop spindle do I don’t have camber
Definitely a 2/4 drop
Let me adjust my little torque wrench
😅

No

Botta pay 39000 for one of these beautiful trucks
They are nice truck but do have their problems, like fuel injectors going out and transmission overheating etc etc
@@OXCFilms its only got 17,000 miles you think it's worth the price?
Honestly right now everything is overpriced. If it is a base model dont think its worth it
A bro solo enfrente le pusistes los lowered struts? no le pusistes drop splinder or control arms esque yo quiero bajar la mia y no se muy bien
Si nomas struts nada mas

"we're gonna jack up the "......*bbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr* 😹😹😹
Look like a 2/4
Definitely not a 4/6.
Hey bro did you keep the rings on the shocks or took them off shock?
You use the rings to adjust height
To me is 3"/5" my truck is way more low with 4"/6"
Eduardo Gutierrez what I was thinking that don’t look like a 4/6
Eduardo Gutierrez it’s more like a 2/4 drop
@@shorty_media6796 Bruh it looks stock height
He didn’t put the drop spindles so it maybe 1 or 2 inch drop in front

How about that lower ball joint hop
Dont understand sorry

Video says 4/6 and the first coming out his mouth " oh today will be dropping it 4/7" sounds stupid as fuck but I like your enthusiasm
Cool truck cuhh, pero si quema o no quema
No quema cuh 😞
Looks clean AF
Thanks man!!! Glad you like it
Cool truck
Thank you 👍
I have 2015 GMC Sierra single cab
@@gmcsierra-te5oz you doing a drop on it?
Yeah 5 or 6 Inch
Nice! Will look great! 👍
I didn't understand what part did you change on the front suspension
The strut
Anyone know what rims those are?
They are replicas
So you did a 6" drop in the rear without a C notch ? you sure you went 6 inches ?
Yes
And the mcgaughys struts only drop to a 3”
@Justin Rodriguez okay iguess😂
@Justin Rodriguez nigga how u gone tell me wen i lower trucks😂, those struts only drop 3 inches, u must’ve got a 5 out of it by cutting yo springs
@Justin Rodriguez you was on 5” rubbing on stocks and had to raise it back up right? Cuz you cant afford tubs, or you dont know what tubs are cuz u aint even low😂😂😂
Love it! After the drop what was the height?
To be honest i dont remember but we will shoot a walk around soon. Also the height can change do to the wheel size on the trucks
What color is that exactly? It’s really cool.
Thanks. Im not sure actually. This truck is getting repainted. Might do a walk around of the color change
Nice drop ! looks good I'm thinking of only doing a 2/4 I have 4x4 it snows in Colorado!
Even with a 2/4 it would look good because there will be less wheel gap than stock 👍
Thats not a 4/6 drop buddy
Ya he can 2” lower in the back he just didn’t move that hanger higher these mcgahugys kits are from like 3”-7” lol
You still have the 4x4 right?
This truck is 2wd. But the kit was also used on a z71. I think thats as low as you can go on a 4x4 with out running into problems.
OXC Films oh ic cuz I wanna dropped mine truck too, thanks
@@Kleiberltx nice! No problem 👍
What size bed is that
6 1/2
OXC Films thanks just bought one but for some reason my bed looks longer but it’s the same lol
@@soniac6733 lol
I've seen that those struts only drop about 3 inches in the front by removing all the spacers? How many did you remove?
Dont remember honestly
That go down 3” and I don’t recommend doing that because u will have hella camber. I did that and now I have to go back add some spacers then add a drop spindle do I don’t have camber
That’s not a 4/7 drop .. telosicooo
I need that torque wrench bro hahahaha 😉
Lol. I got a sweet deal on it 😊
@@OXCFilms did this truck have alignment problems
Not after the frame pull
@@OXCFilms what do you mean? Was this truck crashed?
Sorry i thought the comment was on our other video. After the kit was installed we did need to take it to the alignment shop but no issues after that
What rims are those?
Escalade replicas
did you have to use a spring compressor when you swapped out the strut?
Yes a compressor is needed to remove the coil from the stock strut to the new strut
Why u cut the hanger just put stock shackle back
So that we can flip the hanger's position
4” or 5” only
In the rear
Ok
was that stock height?
Not really. A "shop" had already removed the 1" block that originally come on these trucks.
That’s a 3/5
For a 7” drop in the rear the u had to keep the factory shackle brackets the hanger u put lifted it an inch so its at a 6”
Sorry i dont understand. We didnt keep the factory hangers. We did keep the factory shackles
OXC Films yea if u wouldve kept the factory hangers it would of been a 7”
You are right. It is a 4/6. I had forgot that we also count the extra 1" block that was removed
4/7 😂😂😂😂
7 drop is flip kit and remove the block on stock shackles
got five haterz.....
😣
does it hit with the frame with the 6in drop?
The bumpstops need to be cut or else the alxe will be in contact with it
@@OXCFilms do you think it would be enough with removing the bump stops or would i have to notch it?
You should be good with removing just the bump stops
@@OXCFilms thanks for the feed back and your time. really helped a lot!!!
@@jaredestrada6728 no problem. Anything else let us know 🤝👍
🤣🤣 thats not no 4/6 not even close
🤣🤣🤣

Bad ass truck man, your interior is unique and different! I have the same truck but mine is the deep ocean blue color
Thanks! 👍. Check out our other video of the Ruined Z71. It is also ocean blue z71. Its a beautiful color and i like the way it changes in the sun
What size wheel and tire
Dont know the exact tire size but the rims are 24s
