@cyberyakeradventures definitely gave me a good upgrade I enjoy the card a lot looking to upgrade as I got a 9800x3d but otherwise it was a fantastic card
I upgraded from a 3050 laptop to this exact merc 319 7800xt and i couldnt be happier with my descision. It reliably plays dcs at high settings in 1440p which i am more than happy with. (DCS is a combat flight simulator which is pretty hard to run) I hope you like your new upgrade
I switch RTX 3080 10gb with such RX 7800xt 16gb and I love it. It's faster, with antilag always on really nice experience, everything works better than on 3080 only Elden Ring and Alen Wake 2 are little slower with maxed Ray tracing, I love the best possible next gen visuals so I'm playing single player storydriven games with Ray tracing and almost everything maxed in 4k 120hz HDMI 2.1 modern TV
@cyberyakeradventures yes, rtx 4090 power connector were melting. Huge issue and Nvidia seems to ignore all the cries for help. Search rtx 4090 melting connector.
@@cyberyakeradventures Yes, Huge issue with the melting RTX 4090 12v connector, and Nvidia would ignore and not warranty the repairs. Do a Google search on "RTX 4090 melting connectors" Many customers would opt for older video cards like 4010 or 4070 instead of 4090.
Nice card idk about performance rn will be much better than the rtx 3060ti but it is a little better plus more vram will future proof your card i think it will last you for a while, curious what are you doing with the 3060ti rn?
Did the exact same upgrade path enjoy the upgrade man
@@reesesman8821 how are you liking it so far? I think it was definitely worth it.

Yes. It was the extra vram I needed. I went from 8 to 16. Now I can play in 1440p while I stream and record at the same time.
At least you won't have a burnt 12v connector
@@Saltloony ?? Is that an nvidea thing?

@@chromellox9700 it was the vram upgrade I needed. Sold the 3060ti. Buyer just left.
You just upgraded to 1440p or actually running anything in 1080p instead of 80% of games
For what I am doing I needed more vram. And my monitors are both 1440p so I am very happy.
