Overall it's Max with his 3 World Championship titles and 8 or 9 WRs this year closely followed by Tymon who also performed amazing at Worlds plus wins for most interesting and insane solutions. But if we only count 3x3, it's Yiheng, he's on another level.
It’s so insane that all 3 had the same scramble, all chose yellow cross, and all 3 chose different ways to solve. The craziest part is that Yihang just recently turned 10 years old, can you imagine the records he will have broken by the time he’s Max and Tymon’s age. Unbelievable!
I think Tymon used pseudo which made him think too much about the steps while solving. Make him slow down to observe. So he only got a score of 5 even though the solution was crazy compared to yiheng wang. As for Yiheng wang, the steps are quite simple but he has mastered it in a crazy way
What about Ruihang? since 2023 he has cut his PR average from 5.48 to 5.19 to 5.11 and to his current PR average of 5.01. To has a 4.49 average on camera and multiple sub 5 averages at unofficial competitions. Plus his PB average is 4.12.
@@UzrxMaybe rarer but not necessarily bad, but some cubers have a policy of immediately learning the left-handed version as well whenever they learn any alg. Sounds excessive at first but it actually gets easier and easier.
im so sad tymon didn't win. He deserved it and it is really sad that it came down to that nb perm stopping him from getting the biggest title of his life
@@Pomni740fmc solvers don't have 15s of inspection time. So, low move count with such little prep is amazing. He knows so many algs, is a creative puzzle solver, so he clearly would have the potential to do very well in the event if it was something he wanted to focus on.
@@Pomni740Respectfully, I think you're completely, utterly missing the point. No one is claiming that the exact techniques he uses in his speed solves could someday crush or even match top FMC. Rather, what people are pointing out is that Tymon's style is so absurdly more intellectual than anything other top speedsolvers are managing, that it very powerful suggests he would quite likely be an insane FMC person if he went a different route in life and instead started from scratch with what he needs to learn for that. But Tymon literally said something like he'd rather never cube again than specialize in that. That said, if you look at the course of his career you can see him slowly moving from short burst events to taking longer events more seriously, so there's no telling how he could feel by his 20s or 30s.
Mostly because that’s what I along with most people care about, but yes if we’re talking about all events I would say someone like Max Siauw or Luke Garrett, someone that’s good at a lot of events
Who do you think was the best this year? ⬇️
Yiheng he was the most consistent with his averages
same@@FasterSpeedCubing
Max in general but for 3x3 yiheng
yiheng by far
Max for 4x4+, yiheng for 3x3

Yiheng has only 3 and 2
Yup
once yiheng touches 4-7, it's over
@@nasdfigol He‘s doing other events. His Pyra average is top 100 in the World.
@@fantiscious He‘s already doing 4x4 and 5x5.
It’s max due to him winning 3,5, and 7 and also getting more than 10 WRs over the course of the year while still being very consistent

To be fair tho no one is fitting 3 reconstructions into 30 seconds
good point

Thanks for quoting me on that 🙏
Lookahead vs Inspection vs Efficiency
Before he says who I’m guessing Tymon that dude is a genius
Yiheng used a lefty Jb perm like me.
Great Video Dude!
Yiheng probably did know about the free pair in the back, he can inspect almost the entirety of f2l
5:00 I think he brought the pair to the back to avoid a regrip/awkward move. Pretty smart by him
Great vid!
Definitely yiheng hes evolving like a pokemon

10:35 interestingly i’ve always felt that comp nerves usually help me get in the zone and perform better but that might just be me. great analysis btw
I'm the same, but I think regular comp nerves must be so different to worlds finals nerves, especially if you're a favourite to win

Can you tell me the name of your mic it sounds really good?? And love the video!!
Thanks! It’s the Samson Q2U
The "weird alg" in yihengs solve was a just lefty jb alg
Haha yeah I realized that after making the video
I just got pr by watching this video 7 months later lol

I agree, he’s actually become pretty underrated. I think he’s top 5 in the world and has a good chance of getting WR single at least
@@Pomni740 with a 4.44 BPA
And he would've won world champs if it weren't for the 1 second pause in the middle of the last solve (5.82 was the time I think)
i cant even do cross + 1 in inspection tymon can do cross +3💀💀
yiheng simply did a left hand j perm in case anyone wondering
Oh ok thanks for clearing that up I thought it was a different alg
my main alg is a left hand jperm, is that weird?

however, i think luke is the best cuber, he is good at almost every event lmao, also could you reply with yiheng's ja perm? im curious
True, that would be a very different discussion. It turns out it was actually just the lefty version of Jb
@@STUCUBE ah ok, its the lefty jb with wide moves?
@@ClockSolverit's mirrored RUF jb perm, no wide moves
By that logic, martin egdal would be the best since he's like world class at every single event, something no one else can say

tymon should orient edges on last pair like this:
U' f R f' U R' U' R U R' U' R
he would get little better LL :D

smh
You
i would say yiheng or max
I think it’s max.keep it up and I think you will become the next cube head or jperm
Another one is LML who was dominated mega
kyle santucci dropped a sub 4 keyboard avg just recently so idk
True that was insane. The 3.13 and 2.96 back to back didn’t even look real
3:54 Why is it called yellow cross when the cross made is white cross
The solve was originally done on yellow cross, I just flipped the cube before scrambling it to make the solution show up on white
11:48 no because he tried to stand in 1st place when he got second ☠️ 😭
Tymon the goat
It’s clearly Max. Best single by far, second in avg and WORLD CHAMPION. Any other opinion is just biased.

You for hitting 4K subs in a few months😅

Yiheng J perm was standart but with left hand

tymon would be so good at fmc
He has a 38 mean and 30 moves pr, not sure if he uses CFOP but still pretty good either way
