You do such a beautiful job of delving deep into the cultural background of Jesus’ time (and earlier), and some the “hidden” meanings in The Chosen episodes. You also provide new perspectives of various scriptures that I enjoy hearing, so I can ponder on them, as well. I’ve been away from this channel and others, (even The Chosen, too)… but I’ll be turning my focus back onto your channel, et all. And I love your Beyond the Words episodes. Thank you… God bless!
You are SUCH A GOOD TEACHER. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me❣️Praise God for your knowledge and your ministry. From Stephanie Sells in Fbg., TX
Love you, brother. Your enthusiasm AND substantive insights are so relevant to Bible-readers and they are so motivating and amazing. The quote of quotes: "He is not the kind of king that people are expecting." We need to thank the Lord God for that.
I love those little nuances that are in theae episodes that many of us miss.....makes me want to rrad deeper into the scriptures & not just gloss over the words!
Brandon, this session is one of your best! You are always very enthusiastic, but in this one your enthusiasm really shines, and drives your points home. BRAVO!! 👍🏽
Thank you for this one, Brandon. I think it's a very important one ... and, unfortunately, it's one many seem to overlook. May God bless and protect you, Sir.
It’s always expensive, exploding and exploring extraordinary way of teaching & material we granted by you brother BRANDON. You’re himself not less than a blessing of present age and us all in Lord. I’m love’nt ya!!!
thank you brandon for sharing your brilliant observation about children and women at the time of JESUS who simply loved and served HIM and who still do to this day... sadly a missed share and teaching from the pulpits around the world for centuries... even with mary magdalene being the "first person" to share the RESURRECTION of JESUS to HIS disciples and the world. continued blessings. 🕊
Brandon I think it is interesting how Mr. Roumie portrays Jesus with these children in the scene you are alluding to here. He does not smile or choose "joy" in his face. In fact....he seems very serene. I have been wondering about this. I have concluded that Jesus decides to be "blessed" by the children... showing the beginning of his ministry....and how he wants his ministry to be understood. He is very moved....and quiet. I think it is a magnificent portrayal.
I have enjoyed your teaching and always look forward to the next one. I do have a question...you stated that in Jesus' time men and women were not segregated in the synogogues. In both of The Chosen synogogue scenes, one in Samaria & one in Nazareth, they were segregated. What do you think? Thanks!!
I find it interesting how readers of scripture do not account for the time between one recorded event and another. Pefecting of skills. Perfecting of ministry.
Of course He would have worked with "stone" as well..... He was the LAW on the stone tablets of the 10 Commandments ( decalogue)! He explains this in another episode when he reads in the temple!
Can't find any analysis on what occurred in the beginning of this episode. Was that symbolic of Jesus' time in the desert? Jesus was definitely struggling with his faith and what was to come next after leaving his home.
Bible says, when jesus comes again we will meet him in the air. The very elements will be burned up n rolled back as a scroll. This earth, sky, space will have served it's purpose, it won't it will be...burned with fervent heat. We his servants will be with GOD. AND JESUS . This earth won't be needed or exsist any more....study a little more, you're missing out on great information ❤❤❤
I watched The Chosen for a while, then i became uncomfortable with it. Since, i have found out that the character playing Jesus is really pushing the Catholic religion. Advocates praying the Rosary etc. I didn't like the way they portrayed Jesus as almost a pop star when he was about to speak , with a stage and backroom scenes as hes being preped to go and talk.
I also was caught up in the hype at the beginning. Like you I became uneasy with the way they were portraying Jesus. The writers, director, and people like the one in this video play fast and loose with Holy Scripture. Unfortunately the times were in, a cute and cuddly Jesus appeals to many. I stopped watching all TV preachers and have gone back to studying God’s word in the Holy Bible. The Chosen is just more pollution of the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior.
One of my favorite episodes 3 in season three I love how the children were portrayed as being so innocent
And SMART!
Season 1 episode 3😁

First season of The Chosen was incredible, released in 2019 and managed to surpass all Jesus Christ films
Amen!

So Jesus was also a mason. Another interesting revelation from you Brandon, thanks. It's tacton that ties carpentry and masonry together
Back in the day we had a priest who suggested that Jesus may have been a stonemason
dat nikka will bring your beer and newspaper for his life...
What did Jesus do to his arms in this episode? He is seen putting some kind of bandage to them.
That is how I have always seen Jesus even in the worst of times
Can't find any analysis on what occurred in the beginning of this episode. Was that symbolic of Jesus' time in the desert? Jesus was definitely struggling with his faith and what was to come next after leaving his home.

In our church.our leaders .do not get paid wwe are called the church of jesus christ of later day saints .❤
Jesus did not need to tutor for he was ( the word ) made flesh.

@michaelbirke6050 yes, and sadly it is appealing to this 'itchy ears' world
I appreciate how you interpreted the Hebrew words for “love”, “heart” and “strength”. Such a deeper meaning than we realize.
