I'm one of 14 and I agree with the kids. My best friends were my siblings. I now have gotten married and moved away with my husband in the military and miss them desperately. I wouldn't have traded my upbringing for any other family.

My grandparents raised 18 kids, my mother was 4th to the youngest. I grew up with a lot of cousins who are more like siblings. There was always someone ready to help when I needed a helping hand. Always a listening ear, always a older member of the family to ask advice from. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

im 26 and will be having my first child in less than two months. This is one lucky boy n not so lucky boy because he will not have a sibling. i couldn't imagine going through another pregnancy. good for her for being able well during pregnancy to repeat it tht many times .

Mr11ESSE111 I don’t think so. Husband makes good money and she is very resourceful. I would be very surprised if they were getting government assistance. If you mean child tax deductions, I’m sure they get those.

Not anywhere near as bad as those who have kids to stay on state benefits. These kids are well cared for and wanted. I worry about the ones who aren't wanted and cared for. these ones will be fine in society, but the ones I deal with each day as a foster parent... If they take care of them and teach them to be people they should go for it. We need to protest the neglectful ones not these.

Humans are becoming more like mice or rabbits! There is no way that a mother would have the time and energy to give each and every one of her 15 chidren the attention and time each and every one needs! there is only 24 hours a day! So irresponsible breeding! and the planet can only hold so many people
ModelDoctor So why do public schools try to teach so many kids? Ah, maybe this is why the public school system is going to the dumps. Uncaring people caring for so many genetically unrelated children vs. loving genetically related parents giving their all to children and teaching them to do the same.
Ah, but that is right, no truth to guide by since there is not set system of morals and values to go by, like the Bible. In my Father's time, schools would allow prayer & Bible study, something humans can guide themselves through, but now all of that is gone. How can teachers be expected to succeed with no weapons of goodness to destroy immorality, narcissism & just plain selfishness?
Large families are the biological norm for humans. We can only stop that biological reality with drugs or surgery.
