Came here for the amp, Review, and now Ocean in a drop is on repeat in my AK headphones. CD on the way in the mail, thanks for the including this ,unknown to me , group in the video.
Thank you for your review. I don't understand why this amp gets so little attention in TH-cam. Very nice build, reliable brand, great sound at a very good price.
Thanks for your review! Appreciate that you pick up on parts that are harder to find reviews of :) Also, love the talk about music that you listen to and recommend! That is after all why we are here in the first place, to listen to music.
Love Ezra Collective. Saw them in August, excellent show! Also, am going so see gogo penguin next month! Does the Yamaha separate the frequencies (crossover) between speakers and subwoofer? This vs emotiva ta1, have you tried it?
@robertwilson214 i have m71i as well paired with old Marantz nr1603, I was thinking of selling both and go for Yamaha or Marantz stereo amp. Would be nice if you tell how M71i go with as 701 :)
@@marekszymanski2816 the 7000a is warmer on the bass and analytical in the mid also more detailed, where S701 as a bit more power with lush but neutral presentation. Technically the 7000a superior, better imaging and quality but the tuned signature make it not really suitable for every speaker IMO
@@vangmx thanks! I bought the AS701 with the Oberon 5 in the end. I don't feel the need to dial up the bass since it seems to have plenty, I listen rock/hard rock mainly...
@@MadAudiofficial Just not very good IMO. Congested sounding, lacks clarity and quality of line inputs. I believe it has rather high pf. I since moved on to A-S2100 (the metered line of amps, these all have the same phono stage) and it has a really excellent phono stage. Yes, more money but worth it if having vinyl is a big part of your listening experience.

Hi all, will this amp work well with Dali Oberon 5?
I had the Yamaha AS501 with the Dali Oberon 7. Tone the bass up by +3 and you'll have great sound for great money.
