I bought my ALU 1.2 (+BitLCD) the same day as my 2nd wave launch 4KP w/SSF and ACP. Nothing but love for them. The ability to side-load tons of retro games on the ALU is great.
Sounds like a handful of good games I can probably play anywhere else already combined with hundreds of shovelware. I guess if this is your only multicade then it gives you some variety.
I got 3 Atgames products from Sams and it was how I filled up my Arcade, good stuff. The Regular ALU is my favorite Multicade, Ive tried others and chucked them, the interface is deep and it does it all. Add better speakers(Kickers) which I did 3 times, BitLCD and maybe update the springs for stiffer, sheldon shim on the trackball and all thats missing is gate switcher. It already has all the controls, excellent screen, if you are taller put the buystuff stand on it. My buddy found his space invaders side art so I will pick up the clear covers and throw that on one of my ALU's soon!
I have a Legends Gamer Pro. I need to fix a direction on the player 1 stick but much of the list looks familiar. Nice they have some deep cuts for the Atari arcade games but I bought them on the My Arcade Gamestation Pro. Sounds like a good value for the money but my Legends Gamer Pro has me pretty well covered. I never upgraded the firmware so I spent a long time adding in games I own with box art/posters, bezels.... I don't want to mess with anything because it's all working. Adding your own games is what sells these things. Kinda comical about buying Activision games. I remember years ago the gave away almost the entire 2600 game library on cereal boxes. The emulators were not that great but you could just take the rom images of the CD and use them with better free emulators.
What's the difference between this SAMs Club Model and the 4K model that is supposed to be released in the Summer of 2025. Why would I buy this Cabinet instead of waiting for the 4K Cabinet? Also, there needs to be more hands on demonstrations of OTG and adding games thru a Thumb-Drive (COINOPS-X).
Listen the product looks great. But it's the same chipset as previous generations and now they're charging for BYOG? That's like me buying a television and being charged to have access to use it with my Verizon fios box. I'm not sure if that's even legal for AtGames to do tbh.
BYOG is FREE! It costs NOTHING to play retro games. I am playing ROBOTRON and Berzerk witholut ANY paywall. No charge for BYOG! If you want Advaced Features like OTG where you use a computer or the ability to add PROGRAMS to the general loader then you just buy them as an add on. For many users it is not needed. I have recommended to make it free for all users again to them directly to avoid any of this confusion.
@@ToyFiend growing up during the arcade era was pure joy for a quarter. But it was pricey. Atari played on the idea for $200 and paying $40 for cartridges, anyone can have an arcade at home - wrong. Wrong! Atari couldn't provide that, but Coleco sure did. Colecovision was not perfect but it sure was close. A hard working sensible parent who paid $200 for an Atari will not invest on colecovision to replace an atari. That doesn't make financial sense. $200 was a lot of money back then. A few years later as a working teen with a decent job, the $200 Nintendo's NES was pure bliss. That light gun with duck hunt was so awesome! The arcade has truly arrived to the home for all. I dare people to show a 4 year old kid today the 2600 and have them play it. You will teach that kid a valuable lesson. He or she will learn what a true moron is. Go ahead and show the kid "air and sea battle", "combat", and " pele soccer". Try convincing them that the images he or she are seeing are airplanes, ships or submarines, and soccer players. If the 4 year old kid plays along he or she is a kind person. If the kid says, "huh? This is dumb." That kid is a fucking genius.
No Sam's clubs in Washington or Oregon. It would cost me more in gas money to get to idaho falls to get to a Sam's club than the cost of the cabinet itself. Do better AtGames!!!!
Wish it had Frogger, Defender, Stargate Defender, Punch-Out and Super Punch-Out. I will be adding those when I get mine tomorrow.

What do you think about the GAMES LIST?
Sounds like a handful of good games I can probably play anywhere else already combined with hundreds of shovelware. I guess if this is your only multicade then it gives you some variety.
Its a pretty good list. I like playing the atari 2600 games on the alu and even better on the atari flashback 12 gold.
I think most people buy the ALU’s because of the BYOG features. I have thousands of games on my 1.2 ALU
Didnt see any of the disney games on the list anymore.

I didn’t see battletoads arcade on there but a great list for anyone that doesn’t have one. I’m happy with my 1.0 so….
How do you know if coinopsx works on this?
Can you post a link to the games list? the one available in Sam's Club post seems to be the old model one.
Just in time for Christmas

How is the screen panel? Is it IPS? How are the viewing angles?
The screen is amazing. It has great black levels and is perfect for retro gaming. It has great viewing angles.
Just ordered one on the Sams club app.
Great minds shop alike! I just ordered one as well. I can't wait to hear how you like it once it arrives.
Not a chance waiting for the 4k next summer 🎉
It's a deal breaker for me after they hid OTG behind a paywall. I'll just build my own. No thanks Atgames
Forget everything I said. RC Pro-AM....I'm in.
I was excited till I saw the price on the marquee, which is not far from the cost of the whole machine. $350 is too rich. I’ll wait for a better deal.

Does it support lightguns?
I'm thinking about buying this from Sam's Club. Can you purchase Capcom, and Sega games?

Where are the Star Wars Trilogy games?
Wait, so to add games i need to pay?
No you just put them on a USB.
Ok, i didn't remember hearing you say that but saw a comment or 2 that made me think that and was confused. Thanks.
No galaga.
You will be able to play all the 80s classics easily.
All Atari 2600 games are pure Garbage. Where's crazy climber, dragon's lair, space harrier.
I'm glad someone said it. Atari 2600 games on a $500 machine is wild.
