Besides a new coat of paint, and a terrible interface, how is this any different from a standard ALU. Hardwares all the same most likely. I already have a 1.2 ALU they broke with their 5.70 surprise firmware update, then removed coinopsX, broke byog, and are now trying to put OTG behind a pay wall. I did notice the inclusion of the bit pixel, so more expensive, less functionality is it's sales pitch? Was planning on an ALP at some point, but they have trust issues after the ALU firmware fiasco and staying silent about people fixing it. They also lied and said you couldn't install the old firmware, we did.
Papa Brad, Even though I'm not high on AtGames right now, I can still celebrate when you get something cool. Your positivity while reminiscing about classic games we grew up on, makes my day every time. I think I heard you say, correct me if I'm wrong, that you've only had to login once to your 4KP machine? I've only had mine built for a couple of months and I've already had to login 5 times over that span. And not only that, after one update, it not only logged me out, but wouldn't automatically reconnect to my wifi. There was nothing wrong with my wifi at the time, and other devices were connected and automatically connect when they detect the signal, but not the 4KP, what's up with that? And in fact, I had to go into the 4KP menu and remove my wifi login and set it all up again. Thankfully the wifi thing has only happened once, but this is getting ridiculous. An even worse experience than my Legends HD when it comes to these constant logins. And with the mandatory, can't delay, updates, when I turn the dang thing on just wanting to play some pinball, by the time the update's gets finished, I'm sometimes not in the mood anymore. I'm glad you're having a great experience not having to continually login. And I really mean that. But this inconsistency of experiences I and some others are having, sucks. I don't want to bring you down Papa Brad, please excuse my mini rant. I love that you're having fun and sharing it with us. That's what makes me happy :) Have a great one! vgv
Thanks for the comment. I played some Crazy Climber today and put scores in all the tournament going on. The newer AtGames products especially the ALP 4k and this new ALU CE HD have been really good for me not having to log in frequently. Especialy compare to my HD pinball and older ALUs, Sorry you are not having as good of an experience.

I like the new interface. They are already at Sam's Club since that is how I purchased mine. I ordered it off their website and only took 3 days to get here.
Unfortunately just wait for one of many components to fail (it will happen) or when applying a firmware update bricks or breaks a feature. The constant need to be logging into your account online is SO frustrating.
I have one of these, but it's funny, because my control deck has the old artwork but the side panels, bottom, and monitor are all like this one. Also, do me a favor, check how much internal storage there is in device info please. The box says 16gb, but in device info it only says 8gb. Also, for people that didn't hear right, yes, they now charge you $100 more to unlock otg mode, whereas it was free on the older units.
New interface looks really nice.
Love to check this arcade out for myself !

The control panel look sleek, I was worried that the all black design would be too plain.
I really like the artwork! It has a good look to it. If I had the room I would definitely get this
The 4K ALU next year will raise the bar
Love my Legends cab, having coinopsx, and being able to hook up my Steam deck up to it with ease.
Apparently you can't put coinops on this cabinet without paying $100?
The new interface is faster than CoinOps to get to the games. CoinOps is just a fancy front end

Hi papa brad do u have a list of all the games and does it come with bitlcd thanks because here in Canada I want to order it

T did they provide you with a free review unit or did you purchase it with your own money?
@@mikeyyoon I bought it with my own money.
Wow, that Marquee looks fantastic!
It is! A great upgrade for sure 👍

The Force is strong 💪 in this one
No sauce, LU or coin unless you downgrade
Not true, coinopsx works on current firmware with BYOG for me
Good video, but this still has the same odd shape as their original cabinet.
Hi papa brad what’s the total games list built in thanks
Brad this is awesome 😎. How much is it with the marque ❓
I popped when I saw the Park Tools stool in the background... Bicycle mechanic?
I was for close to 20 years. lol
Same... got out of the industry 8 years ago... I loved it, but I hated living paycheck to paycheck...
Welcome 🙏 to the stream
So this doesn't have bring your own game? The one I'm looking at in my house that I bought 4 years ago does.
It has BYOG.
But did they fix the CTR board issue where it had a high failure rate?

This is a new OS. You log in once. At least for me it has been great just like the ALP 4KP
Anyone else getting this to exclusively play Basic Math?
It’s nostalgia to someone! lol
