The worst I think is especially when it comes to good clubs with big fan crowds like Nashville SC and Saint Louis City SC which are also rather new clubs. I always think its kinda a waste having them named SC when they have a big european fan crowd with packed stadium every game.
But why do you care so much what we call the game? My favorite sport is Baseball and the Japanese (where Baseball is the number one sport) call it “Yakyu” and I don’t care because I love to see the sport I love being played. Also it’s not even wrong to call it soccer, the games that we now know as Soccer and Rugby were once one game. There were two distinct ways people played the game, some used their hands and some used their feet. In the mid 1800s, a governing body decided to make two rule books to differentiate the two styles of play. The game played with your hands became “Rugby Football” and the game played with your feet became “Association Football”. Notice how both are called “Football” that’s because the term Football was used to differentiate sports played on foot and sports played on horseback. Association players wanted a new word to seperate themselves from Rugby players and so they came up with the abbreviation “Soccer”. Then in the America’s when Rugby Football came over it spread very quickly in popularity. Eventually, people dropped the word Rugby and the game that we know today became just Football. Then when soccer became more popular since there was already a sport called Football over here we called it Soccer.

Benz stadium has the capacity to open it more than they say but they don't 🤬 they'll probably open it for the world cup with tickets probably going over 1k 🤬
when I hear , "soccer" It leaves me wondering if i want to throw up or take a diarhia. Most of the world has no idea which sport are you talking about, and the rest just feel like me. Its FOOTBALL you c**ts!!!
Bro is really crying about a name for a sport, and soccer is literally a European term. If they said football, some might mistake it for american football. Think before you comment, and stop bawling about someone using a different name than you
Maybe they'll label it Major League Football years from now but presently it's called Major League Soccer. When in Rome, do as the Romans do and thus the same with USA.
I agree. I hope the NFLPA sticks to their demand and that will force the issue since there are very few (for good reason) MLS teams playing in NFL stadiums.
messi not even travel to atlanta one of reason fake grass.. yeah he said no problem playing on fake grass the reality he doesnt want play on that fake..
Wow it's a really beautiful stadium 🏟️😍😍😍
I'll be there on Saturday. Vamos Atlanta!!!
What section? I’ll keep an eye for you. Hopefully I get to spot you on TV!
MESSI is coming for u All ⚽👑🐐
@@DjLeo10101messi will play?
@@CDPMATH I"ll be in the 335 section in the nosebleeds which is never my usual section. It's so expensive to get my regular seats with Messi playing.
Caption proves that Messi himself a sport ❤
It’s more packed for NFL games
That's one hell of a FOOTBALL stadium.
Let's go Atlanta United
Maybe i'm being nostalgic but bobby dodd vibes were unmatched. 100% filled open-air stadium with skyline in the background

The stadium 🏟 looks beautiful. Only problem is it has artificial grass.
I cant really believe theyre not gonna have this changed at least cause of the world cup.
I mean they have two years - put some grass down.
Per FIFA regulations, they'll have a grass pitch for the World Cup.@@ButThatsMuhFreeduhm

Looks good .. coming in 2026
just imagine the growth and world's attention if they called this game 'football' instead of soccer

Cool video. Wouldn't exactly call it a drone tour though ....
👍👍👍
Didn’t know World Cup matches will be play on turfs
They will replace the turf with grass for the World Cup.
@ryansmith1044 no they wont . Soccer doesnt take precedence here
@@rohan9545 Yes they will its required by FIFA
@@rohan9545 @Wolplum is right, FIFA mandates that grass must be used for the World Cup, so the field will be replaced.

Turf or Grass?
Grass, FIFA won't allow anyone to host a World Cup on turf.
Turf.
Turf
"Hosting Lionel Messi" bro for the love of god please stop.
Exactly, this is a stadium tour and the video will be watched many times in the future and they won't be hosting Messi every game.
@@MichaelWalker-wu2pq Yep
Why no real grass ?
It's a lot easier to maintain, but they will be adding real grass for the world cup
