Great video Buddy. Down Wind Landings on rough surfaces Will do that to you. Got one coming in the mail right now. " With " 2 extra sets of landing gear. I'm hearing that they're kind of frail. So it's not just you.

Many people are having the same problem with the landing gear it's not strong enough for the weight of the plane so I purchased the aluminum landing gear from the eflite valiant 1.3m and added 4 inch bush style tires, it was very simple no modification to the plane the whole assembly is tightly secured by 4 bolts and a top piece of metal just clamps to the aluminum fuselage I added a thin piece of rubber so no metal to metal contact. Now I can land with no worries cost was about $30 and well worth it!!!!!
yerp. its always the right one that breaks. Its a design flaw for sure. i fixed mine up with some super thicc piano wire.
yep, it's a weak point...drill a 1/4" deep hole in each piece and epoxy a 1/2" piece of wire ie. coat hanger works ...just a thought
How's that rear landing gear holding up. Just got mine, and it looks more fragile than the front landing gear.
I put larger tires on makes a world of difference.
@@bgblindt Just got mine. Installed Timber X wheels and reinforced front landing gear with wire, the way Biplane wings are reinforced with wires. 2 questions. How's your real landing gear holding up. Seem's kind if flimsey. Also, my main wing has a large twist in it. Close to 1/2 inch higher on one side. Was yours twisted also. And yes, it is assembled correctly. Let me know please. THANKS.
@@gisall8205 never had a problem with the rear one. I have several replacements due to having fronts on hand at all times.

@@bgblindt They have to stop using these as they break so easily.
I heard that the landing gear is the absolute worst part of this plane. I'm already trying to think of a way to redesign it. Might help if I unboxed mine and built it. :)
The carbon fiber is so brittle.
If I had a yard like that, I would grab a shovel and take the time to clear an area to land.🙄
