My husband and I lost our sweet dog, Packer, after 14 years this past Thursday. Our hearts are broken. We already had tickets to see Dusty in Charlotte on Saturday but weren’t sure we still wanted to go. But let me tell you, laughter is good for the soul. Thank you Dusty for giving our sad hearts a night of laughter! We also listen to the podcast non-stop, as we are going back and listening to old episodes now too. It’s how we are making it through the days! Thank you for what you guys are doing-keep it up! The world needs you!
Hello folks and hey Bear! It's great to have Greg Warren back. One of my absolute favorite guests and this new studio allows all 5 of them on easily and comfortably.
When Greg talks shop about a company's product line, patents, etc - it really is comforting to hear. My dad would talk about the baked goods and grocery store specifics and I really miss hearing it. Thank you Greg for helping me have a good day, brother!
Nothing negative was meant with my comment about the unicorns last week! My daughters were just excited to correct someone besides me. They were excited you were talking about unicorns on a podcast for "grown-ups"! You guys are great, much love to you all (apparently extra to Aaron because he felt like I was attacking him). Thank you for this podcast and everything Nateland entertainment is doing!
I really do like every episode and have never disliked a guest, but when I see the words "featuring Greg Warren" I get unreasonably excited. Always some good peanut butter talk when he comes on.
When I'm sad this group always lifts me up for a bit. Does the same when I'm happy but right now this is keeping my mind off a lot and it's appreciated.
My father recently passed away and was a prepper. The amount of MREs, "alcohol to barter", hotel soaps and shampoos we found was unbelievable. He was FURIOUS Y2K didn't happen. So our family gets it, Dusty. My dad and I even built a bunker for a father/son project. Appreciate the laughs in an emotional time!
Bullied Bates had a few slams against him that looked like he actually felt it. A couple of them I was already laughing at before the riffing (I will admit I laughed at the riffing too) but I hope he keeps his head on a swivel! Love the banter between you all!
He held his own, but I did feel Warren was a bit too rough - and it certainly was felt by him. Brian is awesome and works hard for that show, and is a loyal Nateland friend.
I have to defend Greg here. I was a commander in the Coca-Cola army for 7 years and still to this day I have flash backs of fighting the Pepsi brigade in the aisles of Kroger. Once a vendor, always a vendor!😂
Nate asking “Wait, does he own Keurig too?” when Aaron was showing the Wikipedia page for Keurig Dr. Pepper is the epitome of what this podcast is all about. It was hilarious to watch Nate describe how he thought there was a man named “Keurig Dr Pepper” who owned both companies. Even better was no one on the set being surprised by the fact that he thought that. Thanks for the great laughs.
Ol' Bickering Bates was in rare form in this episode. Just... challenging everything. "That's an interesting way to word that... what do you mean?" I hope he got a good nap after the show. Great episode as always!
I was cutting grass listening to this episode and had to stop midway because I was laughing so hard at the colorblind story! I listen to y’all a lot while cutting grass each week so I’m sure my neighbors are used to seeing me randomly laugh while doing yard work! Thanks for all yall do and bringing me constant laughter. Patrick Williamson
With regard to narwhals, my mother had the opposite problem. In a Dr. DooLittle book, the author referenced a two-headed creature called a “Push Me Pull You” (it kind of looks like two camels squished together at their backsides). She truly thought that animal existed until she was almost 40 years old when, at a party, the topic somehow came up in conversation. When she learned it wasn’t real, and someone asked her why she hadn’t questioned why she had never seen it in a zoo, she said she always just assumed it was in one of the cages off sleeping somewhere in the background. Love the pod! Thank you always for the laughter and wholesome fun.
I have this Dusty quote hanging in my office that I heard on this podcast: "Be skeptical of everything....but also be having a good time." #inspiredbydusty 😊
Greg is a very smart guy. The insight he has in his former business is just incredible. On another note. As a Louisiana native, the mosquito on Dusty's shirt is not an exaggeration. GEAUX TIGERS!!!! Also in the words of Mitch Hedberg: pringles were supposed to make tennis balls but they got a load of potatoes and they said screw it! Cut'em up!!!!
This episode was definitely “my taste”! I always love when Greg Warren is in the mix because I worked in the CPG world 30 years and totally geek out on the shelf set, flavor profile, etc talk. Today’s show was really up my alley as I worked directly for Pepsi 5 yrs then Nielsen 25 yrs…20+ supporting Coke in Atlanta and a few years consulting with Walmart suppliers in Bentonville. I was heavily involved on the Coke Zero launch and Nate’s assessment was close…the brand was designed to capture lost sales from regular Coca-Cola due to males switching to healthier, low-cal options so the flavor profile is more like regular Coca-Cola and not like Diet Coke which has a loyal female market. Hubby and I are excited to visit Zanie’s Nashville Sep 16!
The part where Nate talks about requesting a specific product at the store is my life too. This past weekend I gave my wife a shopping list with four items. The three items she had pictures of were the three out of four that were not what I asked for.
I swear...Greg Warren has one of the best laughs that I've ever heard! I love the 4 staples, but I'm always excited to see when Greg is a guest. Thanks for such a great podcast ♡
Several years ago, I saw a comedian on something like Comedy Central Presents. A few months later I was trying to tell someone about it but couldn’t remember the comedian’s name & could only remember one of his jokes about how he was wrestling and one of his teammates was yelling something at him during the match. Now, thanks to this podcast, I finally remember who Flute Man Greg is!
Breakfast reminds me of Edward Everett Horton, an actor that was featured as a “third wheel “ in the old Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers pictures. I’m not that old, my wife and I enjoy watching TCM. Love this podcast and have watched and listened to all of them multiple times. Thanks for taking us along!
1:26:41 Nate asking that question was hilarious, not only because it caught me off guard, but because I was literally just thinking how Greg really stays up to date with his knowledge on the Peanut Butter world. This was one of the funniest podcasts in a long time. Maybe because all 4 of the poders were there AND they had a guest rather than 1 of them be missing. They need to do it this way more. Keep it up the good work!
When Greg Warren laughed so hard during the color blind story it reminded me of my Dad. His laugh was so boisterous that people around him would just feel better. Thank you Greg for lighting up a room with your laughter and reminding me fondly of my late Dad.
Great episode! Love having Greg Warren back at the table. Greg has the best laugh and his anger and eye rolls at product shortages was the best and he follows it up with his outrage over Jiffy. He is the best! My 9 year old and I just watched The Greatest Average American again the night before this came out and I told her that Nate was in her corner supporting her with her peanut allergy. She could not stop smiling the entire time that segment was on. Keep up the great work fellas!
Not only is Greg Warren hilarious but his presence brings everyone else to step up to their 'A Game' and the entire crew is just that much more funny b/c of Greg Warren's presence. I always look forward to his guest appearances!
I saw Dusty at a show in N Myrtle Beach last night. I took my son AND my dad. My dad had never seen Dusty before. After the show, he said “That Dusty fella was pretty funny, but I bet he has some real conspiracy theories”. I said “dad, you have no idea.” It was a hot show! Dusty took a pic with all three of us. He is the best!
HELLO FOLKS AND HEEEEEEEEEEEY BEAR! about a month ago my wife and i got hypnotized for weight loss. Ever since i was hypnotized i have not touched pop or candy and have had no temptation. Hearing you all talk about pop just reminded me of how much pop and candy i would go through daily (it was very excessive). Love what you all are doing #dumpdusty into more podcasts.
Everybody was killing it this week! Aaron had a couple of jokes that made me guffaw... Greg is always a joy... Dusty was funny and kept most of his opinions to himself... Nate and Brian taking pot shots... this is one for the books. On the other hand, whose idea was it to just die at the end with no music or anything?!
Had a blast tonight with Aaron in Plano, TX! I’m a Neuroscientist at UT Dallas, working on finishing my PhD. I listen to you guys while I do my experiments. Some of the stuff y’all say is aggressively wrong but always brings the Joy and laughs. Feeling blessed to meet one of you in person and looking forward to the rest of y’all having shows in Dallas. (Dustin Nickerson next weekend!!)
Hey yall! I just had a baby and this podcast has kept me from losing my mind during middle of the night feedings. My 3 week old daughter is also learning so much about comedy- I expect her first word to be “alriiiigghht” in Dusty’s accent. You all should feel very special that I trust you with such a precious little mind 😉
When Dusty said that he wasn’t going into the bunkers when the bombs start coming it got me thinking…wasn’t he the guy who was in hiding during the solar eclipse? Also, I love Greg’s passion for Jif. I never had Jif until I went to college, having grown up on Peter Pan. When I was in college I was so adamant about Peter Pan that the other girls on my floor tied me to a chair, blindfolded me and made me taste both Jif and Peter Pan. I have not had anything other than Jif since. So delicious. Plus, my mother got an earful about her negligence.
You guys need a separate show where you just give food products to Greg Warren. And that’s it. That’s the show. His personal investment in every aspect of a Pringle chip (crisp) should inspire each and everyone of us to be great. Not to mention it’s just wildly entertaining and I could easily watch him talk about the ins and outs of the peanut butter world for hours
Nateland needs a special episode taking a trip to the grocery store with Greg Warren! Also he should be a permanent or semi-permanent Nateland co-host. 😃 he is so funny and his laughter is infectious! 😂
I have been enjoying these new comedians you and Laura are promoting. Thanks. Can never have too many clean funny things to watch!!! How sad that I taught school for 35 years in elementary and always taught the map of the tongue. What is this world coming too? Aaron, my husband and I hope to see you in Plano Sat!!!!
On the subject of Narwhals... my husband is an electrician and did some work in the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. He discovered as he was working in one of the buildings that they store confiscated and contraband taxidermy there. He saw a preserved Narwhal specimen among lions, crocodile heads, and other things. So to Dusty's point, it seems suspicious that the only Narwhals available for viewing are locked in a private government building...
With as much grief as you give Aaron, I would have liked to see a blindfolded taste test of 5 common foods to see how many he could get right. Even without it tho, this was a great episode! Love Greg!
Greg could replace anyone on this podcast flawlessly (except Brian,Nate & Aaron😂😂) :). He has such a great vibe , perfect for the pod. Thanks for another amazing one gentlemen
Greg & Nate need to do a video walking through a store so we can hear Greg's hilarious yet serious take on how that store is dealing with it's vendors!
Nate, you’ve got so many folks hooked on clean comedy- please give a hand up on the showcase to Jose Sarduy and Eric O’Shea as well. Great clean comics! Jose is a veteran with a great service career to our country he’d make a great podcast guest too! You’re the best!
Just the idea that we’re this deep into Nateland (EPISODE 214,FOLKS!!!) and Nate is having to explain theater ticket sales to BreatheRite, like Oscar explaining a surplus to Michael Scott. 😂😂😂
9 years ago I was diagnosed with oral cancer. Surgeons cut out a chunk of my tongue and replaced it with skin from my leg. Amongst the many side effects of the surgery, the oddest was not being able to taste salt. To this day I have to ask someone to taste my cooking so I don't overseason food. Thankfully I didn't lose my taste for great comedy! Let's go folks!
about face blindness- my friends & I joke that my roommate has it because she struggles to differentiate actors who have the same hair style or body type (ex. Ted Danson vs Matthew Modine) 😂 But maybe it runs in the family- her aunt once introduced herself to an alleged new attendee at church & it was actually her daughter that had the same hair style
I’m convinced that Greg Warrens laugh alone could be a breakthrough treatment for depression.
I can’t wipe the smile off my face!
All day! Nate couldn't even get through the comment he was cracking up so badly.
@@rymichalak8805 For sure, his laugh makes me laugh!!
Agree 💯!!! Love his laugh
so true. His laughter is so infectious.. He is super funny..
Both My name and comment got destroyed by Nate & Dusty on episode #216. Greatest day ever!
Ryan Rihanna Michalak 🤣
I absolutely love how defensive Greg gets about the products he used to represent. It's like he's always got a crisp on his shoulder.
Ha!
Im definitely down for a sitcom staring Greg as a peanut butter salesman. That would be gold.
With Dusty as next door neighbor
@@ericcire7709OMG, That could be fantastic!
That would be great!
I know it's gonna be a good day when I see Greg Warren on Nateland! 👏👏👏
Yeah especially wh n Nate is also here
Indeed! Greg is just such a treat.
If there would ever be a regular 5th - Greg Warren would be the best. His specials are top shelf!
The amount of joy when I saw Greg Warren was today’s guest!! 🎉 also Bates is killing it - “hurt people, hurt people” 😂
Greg laughing at the colorblind liar had me laughing out loud with him! So funny!
The Middle Tennessee Kid.
💀 😂
My husband and I lost our sweet dog, Packer, after 14 years this past Thursday. Our hearts are broken. We already had tickets to see Dusty in Charlotte on Saturday but weren’t sure we still wanted to go. But let me tell you, laughter is good for the soul. Greg Warren is the BEST guest on this show. I haven't even watched it yet and I'm so excited!!
@kateread1914 I agree Greg is the best. We could use a visit from Mike Vecchione, though. I love it when he gets all aggressive and weird. 😊
Hello folks and hey Bear! It's great to have Greg Warren back. One of my absolute favorite guests and this new studio allows all 5 of them on easily and comfortably.
Mic drop for Aaron.…”The Middle Tennessee Kid”. How I love you guys… thanks for the laughs!
When Greg talks shop about a company's product line, patents, etc - it really is comforting to hear. My dad would talk about the baked goods and grocery store specifics and I really miss hearing it. Thank you Greg for helping me have a good day, brother!
"It waaaas a big war" - Nate
"I would say one of the biggest" - Gregg
"Top two" - Aaron
That comment did not get enough credit 🤣
If you were ever to add a 5th podcast member, but consider Greg. He’s sooo funny and adds so much to the pod. 😂🙌
1:26:58 "That guy fought the Germans for 4 years, I fought Skippy for 10" goes HARD, haha
@kalebaaron1611 Warren gets it. Lol 😆
Nothing negative was meant with my comment about the unicorns last week! My daughters were just excited to correct someone besides me. Yes! Greg and John Crist are my favorites 👌🏼😄
When I'm sad this group always lifts me up for a bit. Does the same when I'm happy but right now this is keeping my mind off a lot and it's appreciated.
These guys have no idea how this podcast helps us in the day to day grind of life!
Every Greg episode is a banger 😂
Very happy to see Greg Warren again!
My father recently passed away and was a prepper. The amount of MREs, "alcohol to barter", hotel soaps and shampoos we found was unbelievable. He was FURIOUS Y2K didn't happen. He held his own, but I did feel Warren was a bit too rough - and it certainly was felt by him. Brian is awesome and works hard for that show, and is a loyal Nateland friend.
THEEE GREG WARREN!!! Letssss gooo folks!
I have to defend Greg here. I was a commander in the Coca-Cola army for 7 years and still to this day I have flash backs of fighting the Pepsi brigade in the aisles of Kroger. Once a vendor, always a vendor!😂
I think the #DumpDusty guy is actually no one other than Greg Warren himself!!! Wanting that coveted 4th host position for himself no doubt!
Greg is hands-down my all-time favorite guest!!! I constantly re-listen to the past episodes with Greg too!
47 minutes in and Nate says “start with your guys comments” love it starting strong almost an hour in hey bear!
I love when Greg Warren is on the show! Can’t wait to see him next week in Vegas! 😊
Maybe you could have your guests bring in their highschool pictures. I think it would be a good time!❤️😁❤️
"The Middle Tennessee Kid" ... legendary...
Greg Warren is back! Yessir!
"You looking to get the word out to 75 people?" killed me
Middle Tennessee Kid 😂 Aaron- LETS GO!!!
#BestLineOfTheEpisodeAward “Middle Tennessee Kid” - AaronLand K.O.
I always love your podcasts but when Greg is on, I laugh even more. 👍🏻🤣❤️❤️❤️
28:42 Cannot stop laughing at the Easier to Drive Tour 😂
I just watched all Greg Warren specials, very funny. Everyone is so funny from this group. 😊
Nate asking “Wait, does he own Keurig too?” when Aaron was showing the Wikipedia page for Keurig Dr. Pepper is the epitome of what this podcast is all about. If that was Brian that did that Nate would have drilled him! Nate gets off easy.
Ol' Bickering Bates was in rare form in this episode. Just... challenging everything. "That's an interesting way to word that... what do you mean?" I hope he got a good nap after the show. Great episode as always!
By challenging everything, you mean I questioned one thing.

Nate is on fire this episode
Hey Bear. We Love Greg Warren. Welcome Back.🤣🤣😂😂
With regard to narwhals, my mother had the opposite problem. I have this Dusty quote hanging in my office that I heard on this podcast: "Be skeptical of everything....but also be having a good time." #inspiredbydusty 😊
Awesome!!!
Love how you stay true to who you are - 2 seconds in and Nate misreads a sponsors name and you leave it in vs re-recording.
I LOL’d!!! PET-SY😂
The straws with the taste test was hilarious
Greg is a very smart guy. The insight he has in his former business is just incredible. On another note. As a Louisiana native, the mosquito on Dusty's shirt is not an exaggeration. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!
Also in the words of Mitch Hedberg: pringles were supposed to make tennis balls but they got a load of potatoes and they said screw it! Cut'em up!!!!

A little late, but I started listening because 1. Scott Rouse on the Behavior Panel said Nate is a confident sitter and 2. We love Dusty.
Such a great episode, all the BAND together AND Greg Warren. So much fun conversation! We got our favorite Nateland back. 😊
The part where Nate talks about requesting a specific product at the store is my life too. This past weekend I gave my wife a shopping list with four items. The three items she had pictures of were the three out of four that were not what I asked for.
I just love watching Aaron when Dusty reads ads, it kills me!
I swear...Greg Warren has one of the best laughs that I've ever heard! I love the 4 staples, but I'm always excited to see when Greg is a guest. Thanks for such a great podcast ♡

The most said statement on NateLand: “Remember that thing we learned in school? Turns out that was wrong.”
Truer words… 🤙🏽
