The NEW Ashley Down Station which Ended in CHAOS!

Ashley Down Station in Bristol opened on the 28th September 2024 as Great Western Railway newest Railway Station on the GWR Network. Monday decided to take a trip to have a look at the newest railway station to open but while being there.... it became a right Ashley Downer as getting to Bristol Temple Meads ended up being difficult!

Brilliant video Cyber, it laways has to go wrong doesn't it? lol. I honestly hope this station is a success. I kinda feel like all these new stations have almost the same design, also not to mention putting bins behind a bike shed doesn't sit right with me.

Apparently the new Ashley Down railway station is to serve the local area as well Bristol Rovers Memorial Stadium and the university. Still it does look really nice.
And hopefully the Henbury branch line should reopen along with the Portishead branch line to also reopen.

Great to see another new station added to the network. Just gutted it was a bit far for me to visit.

I personally think Ashley Down is a nice station but one thing Great Western should improve on is frequency for train services for example during rush hour services should be 15 - 30 mins and off peak times 30 mins - 50 mins

Ashley Down isn't a bad station but from watching other videos there is plans to make it every 30 minutes but the Henbury Branch needs to be upgraded and stations built first to make it happen

Thank you for producing this broadcast fod all of us. Have you travelled on the GWR sleeper. We have just returned , return Paddington to Penzance. Dining was absolutely appuling. The breakfast rolls on both trips were cold and poorly presented, the morning coffee was low quality and again cold. The price for trip was disgusting for what you get in return. 😢

Thank you, I've done the Night Rivera twice, the 1st time I had a seat and didn't slept being honest. The second time I was sleeping in a bed which I had some sleep but sorry to hear about the experience you had with the sleeper, I would put a complaint in being honest.

Good video cyber and ticosprinter ashley down station does have a fast line for fast trains heading towards cardiff and Bristol temple meads to pass through this station because it does have an hourly service
