Anyone else feel like they were floating through Watchdog Legions? i kept recognizing a bunch of the places I had played through on the game, that was cool! I enjoyed the stroll through London especially on a Onewheel, I'd say this is more for a cool tour of London than an intense ridding video.
Fantastic Video. I like the Slydogstroh music. Love to see more riding around on the north side of the Thames- Soho, Knightsbridge, Piccadilly Circus, Carnaby Street, etc.
I've watched Slydog's vids a bunch and caught the Slydog vibe right away as well, lol. His vids convinced me to get a Onewheel. When I first saw this vid, I was like, "Is Slydog back doin' OW vids?!?" This vid is obviously inspired by him and gets my thumbs up and sub.
@@onewheel_pottdawg3967 At the end, I bought a new one (soon to be delivered) but I also learned that legislation in Switzerland does not legally authorises the OW on public roads.... which sucks... But I'll try to make them change their minds :p

That was a nice chilled ride! Super hooked on OW after seeing slydog... Coming from esk8 so waiting for future motion (or anyone else) to release a board with higher top end. The 19 max is great just coming from esk8 think I'm liable to nosedive. Just need that 30 sweet spot. Hope they do it soon!!!
@@bobgraton854 That's great but if you have nosedived at 19mph you will understand that 30mph on a onewheel will kill people. 20mph is way fast enough.

I have read that the police are cracking down on the onewheel have a 50 quid fine for riding it about. I plan on visiting London but I see all the rentals have quit renting and I can't very well bring mine to the UK. bummer because I really wanted to ride that city!!!

Thanks Raymond! so its actually captured with 360 camera called "Insta360 One R" on a selfie stick (the camera has a blindspot directly underneath its base so you cant see the selfie stick)
the short answer to that question is, they're not. its a risk yes but if you respect road users, pedestrians and wear the safety gear you're go under the radar like I have for the past 2 years of riding (also help if you don't go out at peek times aswell, its all about early morning ot late evening rides in central London and outside the capital no one cares)
I mean they are but so are electric scooters and london has loads of people doing that too so the police cba (plus if the police are looking out for Escooter's an Eboard goes under the radar)
The authorities either don't know or just turn a blind eye to anything that's not a private scooter. Riding a private scooter and there's a higher risk you'll lose it. Esk8 and OW get left alone, like literally 99% of the time. I think it's because they're more niche things, people need to know how to ride them whereas anyone can jump on a scooter and cause havoc. But absolutely as you say, completely illegal anywhere but private land but doesn't matter with the law not enforced

Now it’s 2022, there is some movement - Onewheel might end up being a "low-speed, zero-emission vehicle (LZEV)", likely to be usable much like a bike, but with some restrictions/extra rules. It’s possible something comes in later this year (but likely to be slower than that) - most political chatter seems to be long debates around the dangers of "kids on e-scooters" still, but there’s definitely some wording for allowing for PLEVs that "haven’t been invented" yet from some parts.

No, I never speed up my videos as think thats a miss representation of the Onewheel but saying that...the trick to making it "look" faster is to get the camera as close to the ground as possible :)

@@onewheel_pottdawg3967 just a pint , I commute and go on small exploratory rides, just got it a few weeks ago for free from a customer who thought it didn't work on the count of his son stopped using it , one man's trash is another's treasure, I used to ride a unicycle and skated as well as did some bike jumps in my childhood, this thing is really fun to ride and I got it with 43 miles its got 90 miles now , my top speed is 17 I'm 130 pounds 5 foot 9 I wear pads and a helmet as well as gloves and wrists support, a coworker is giving me an old full face bmx helmet tomorrow with a removable visor, it's got a go pro mount on it(might get a gopro) , and I'm gonna get some fangs soon
