She naturally keeps her weight behind the wheel at the moment she slows down to lift the nose (or ninja kick). This is very important because when she initiates the push + slide, she stills has her weight partly behind/above the tire, and this helps so much that sometimes you don't even have to deweight your rear leg. You can clearly see it at 38 seconds. Neat instructions nonetheless !
This is tha only trick I want to learn. There's many times I'm riding and I get to a curb and I just hop off my board, or I'm detour lol I'm not a young kid, so I'm not tryna hurt myself 💯 👍🏾 ➖⭕➖
Allie, that was an excellent presentation thank you! I’m a trail/root rider (74 year old, on a +xr) and I was taking notice of your board nose position that looked maybe custom down a bit. What were your settings? I street ride custom set nose down a hair to take the tension out of my quads and ride delirium on the trails for bonking. What were your settings in the vid? Thanks again.
Great tutorial, makes it look easier than I thought. I was struggling with my fender off but I think I should be able to do it. Second movement of “squashing the bug” won’t damage my front bumper too much, right?
Tried twice with my gt with 300 miles. First one didn’t make it, second one I fell and the board tipped over on the ground. Now my board does not work at all. $2400 board, killed by 6 inches 👍
I tried this for the first time in a cemetery the other night, but instead of nudging the curb i somehow flipped my board forward & it landed level, jumped by reaction, & landed it. Now my buddies think ive invented a new move
More of this!! Nice job Allie
Will this void the warranty?
@@JosephRan95 😮😂😅
Yall just want us to trash our boards lmao
Need more tips and tricks with Allie 🔥
This is probably the most useful Onewheel trick, well done 👏
She makes it look so easy! Also lover her energy
Of all the videos I've seen teaching the curb nudge - this is the one that finally made it click, since then my success rate has up ten fold. Thanks
Allie, that was the best curb nudge instruction I've seen! AJ and Kyle, we want more Allie ;)
That was some of the best description of how to do a trick ever. Smash the bug and smear it forward.. got it. Super simple
Best nudge tutorial ever!
My coach when it comes to nudging!
This is by far the best explanation of a nudge that I have come by yet. Good Job & Thanks
1:19 Vastus lateralis and tensor fascia latae. Just bought one, great tutorial, I’m so pumped
Dude the bug squish just totally elevated my curb game! Thank you!
These metaphors are what finally got the technique to click for me, thanks!
Let’s go Allie, you are the best !! 😎🤘🏻
You nailed it girl , that makes so much sense!!! it almost hurts . keep it coming I'll be back from UK 🇬🇧
Agree with other comments, this video explains the curb nudge best. Sqush the Bug was the part I was missing. Thanks Allie and Wheel Fun Stuff!
That stomp the bug analogy was exactly what I needed. Thanks for that. Stomp and smear!
This helped lots! Have been doing ninja kick too early. Can nudge now!
Incredibly well made video! Thanks for explaining it so comprehensively. Your camera work especially made things crystal clear.

Literally the best nudge description I’ve seen on TH-cam
This is great, hope to see more tutorials like this. Allie is a great teacher!
How much does PSI play into smooth nudging?
She is awesome. Excellent explanation.
I'm so glad there's a name for this method of nudging! I picked up this method when learning to nudge with fins.
Awesome! I just landed a bunch of these. Ninja kick, de-weight, that was it. Thanks!
Great vid guys! Love how beatup those boards are - hard riding from hard people 😉🤘
Thanks for all the different examples!
Oh. Really looked for such guide. Thx!
great advice! tons of charisma!
Well done tutorial. Keep ‘em coming.
This legit helped me! Thanks Crew
Her balance is unreal!!
Very insightful 👍
Thank you for showing a bunch of different examples in different locations instead of just one or two.
Yea I have 890 miles on my Pint X and struggle with this. Lol! 😅😅
I have a pint x and a GT. Which one should I use first to learn the curb nudge? Thanks for this training!
Awesome tips!! Should I go elevate mode or skyline? Elevate seem like more torquey while skyline enables faster response.

Wheelie fun stuff 😆
She is a natural on the One Wheel and the camera.
She's got tricks ☝️🤟👽🎬
As I am riding with flight fins, is it better to practice this with a wider stance without the feet being under the flight fins?
Great tip
Thank u!! i love it
Wow! Thank you for this informative video. You’re such a cool chick
Can you do this with simple stop on or does it have to be off?
She's got a flux capacitor sticker on her helmet. Hell yeah!
What’s the recommended tire pressure PSI and ride mode to learn Curb nudge. I got stock GT and I’m 185 lbs.
😂 awesome 👏🏻
Does this work with a pint or do you need the bigger boards?
Lol she was so graceful going up that grassy hill
I did the ninja kick on my GT i almost put a whole on my bumper i wonder when i’m gonna learn this 🤔
Are those rails slightly bent?
Where can I buy the red Float symbol on Allie’s hub???
Can this still be done on a GT if I have fangs installed?
Rip Mr Bug
Was she riding in mission or a custom setting? The nose seems to have a low pitch angle?
Where do we sign up for Allie OneWheel University? Professor Float
Legit instructions!!
Thanks ❤
Is it harder on a pint
You can’t fool me. That’s not a skateboarder. That’s a ninja in disguise.
I tried that with pint and now my 4 front teeth are gone thanks
Are curb nudges good for my controller?
What’s the max speed on level ground?
Watching before I even buy a Onewheel.
I like that kick 🦵
I really would like to learn this trick but I dont want to smash te bug. ...and I dont have an onewheel. 😢
Wait, no float plates?
thx guy & gal 🤙🏾
Why doesn't it go on reverse when you lift up the front?
Whats the range on one
I still can’t! Uggggggg!
Poor bug!!
Bug... Lives.. Matter!
(No actual bugs were harmed during the making of this video) 👍
Daaam nice But you can’t do that with a plus + yeah 😢
Why? I tried too, but very unsuccessfully

Now I want to call off work and go ride
Good way to scratch up your onewheel
As a 240LB rider, I find it hard to do this.
I’m still scared af 😅😂
annnnnndddd i still suck at this 🤣
She cute!
U're sweet and crazy Skatie *:
I dont even have a onewheel and watched the whole vid 😅
As a black belt I’m crying
Just to say I’m 10 and I did it , so practically anyone can do this trick
dude im going outside
OMG, you are so cute
Quick. Not fast. These terms are not interchangeable. Totally different meanings. If you disagree, try your curb nudge at 20mph. You're welcome. ;)
Today Allie should be teaching you how to spell a video title.
Broke a leg trying to repeat this 🤷🏻♂️
we must stay focused brothers
Good way to wear down your tire
