What I find most interesting about these "what if" videos, is that in most of them, things don't usually go Palpatine's way. Everything had to be perfect for Palpatine to win. This is in stark contrast to Lord of the Rings, where if one thing was different, Sauron would have won.
Yea it's either poor planning around risks on Palpatine's part or just that he isn't in a very good position for things to go wrong. If he outs himself as a Sith lord to the wrong person, or someone overhears him and tells everyone else, he's fucked if it gets out. Because he needs to uphold an image of himself as a benevolent person. He can only do so much with offhanded comments that imply things. (telling Jar-Jar to give him emergency powers but making it seem like it's Jar-Jar's own decision) he has to keep giving plausable excuses for suspicious things he says or does without losing public trust and support so that he may stay as chancellor long enough for his clone army to be able to stage a coup and seize power if needed. Meanwhile Sauron already is in a position of stable power from the start with loyal subjects without moral compass.
The problem with this is the 501st would not leave Anakin in there for more than a week. They wouldn't keep info about padme from him because for one the Jedi wouldn't be cloulded so his emotional and mental would be an open book. Padme would tell one of the Jedi she's closest to about the children if anything out of worry about their own connection to the force and his visions which she's fully aware was driving him crazy
I feel like after sidious knowing fisto is there and sensing anakin was unable to save him , he would probally roll out of the window and execute order 66
What if Revan wasn't found in stasis until the first year of the clone wars? That would mean that Revan in his prime would be alive and well, and Darth Vitiate's spirit would still be dormant since Revan didn't awake his spirit at Yavin.
I wish people would stop saying that millions died during Clone Wars. That is underselling the war that was the most destructive one in history until the Yuzan Vong Invasion. Billions died and trillions more were displaced or had their homeworlds ruined.
What if Anakin simply asked for access to the secret archives? I think it might have worked. "Ok - you don't make me a Master by now. But can I get full library access, so I can prepare & better myself, to eventually be worthy of being one?"
I see no situation where Anakin, if removed from the Jedi suddenly for failing to do something morally debatable and then being imprisoned for months with the threat of Padme dying, would NOT fall deep into the darkness...this ending felt like a cop out for a Rogue Dark Side Anakin
I'm not the best when it comes to Star Wars lore since I'm more of a casual fan, but I've got two potential ideas. 1) They went to Palpatine's office expecting a Sith Lord, they probably thought the only option was to bring the best of the best and get it over with as quickly as possible. Even with multiple council members there, they were still cut down pretty quickly, so anyone else not on their level might've just gotten in the way or been a liability if Sidious took them hostage. 2) They were still in the midst of a galactic war, with many council members fighting battles on several different planets. It could be that the group who went to apprehend Sidious was all that was available at the time, at least among people they'd trust with a mission this dangerous. I don't think a lot of time passes between Anakin informing Mace Windu and him gathering people to approach Palpatine, it might've been too short-notice to have a more cohesive plan. Either way, it might make for a good what-if on it's own; what if Mace Windu was more prepared to deal with Palpatine?
I don't think Han was force sensitive enough to have really become a Jedi. There was definitely something there because of his quick reflexes and ability to anticipate attacks coming within a second or two but not enough to be a Jedi.
Here's a what-if idea: What if, somehow, Palpatine returned... in two different places at once, and the two Palpatine Clones ended up fighting each other? Dark Empire, based out of Byss, vs Final Order, based out of Exogol.

Everyone forgets that Anakin didn't just snap he was driven insane and he kept trying to hold it together and by the time he realized what was going on he had made the wrong choice and than kept trying to justify it until he was on a burning planet consumed by hate rage and power. When he was talking to padme there's nothing but madness in his eyes until she starts crying he than thinks about just fucking leaving disappearing and hiding from the empire. And obi-wan being Obi-Wan ruined that.vjust like he did a number of things during the war. Like constantly lying to a kid with trust issues. Not being up front but still hoping for the best even though you know every mistake you make with the chosen one could shift him anywhere. The same man that warned them not to make him choose between the Jedi and palpatine. And even then Anakin choose them he just wouldn't choose them over his wife and kids an honestly reality. Which palpatine played with like a master pianist. Obi-wan should never have gotten off the ship Anakin didn't even sense him. He could've let them talk he's done it on so many missions of the same caliber. And had he waited just long enough for her to convince him to turn away he could've avoided a fight and gotten him on his side by just being honest you killing the kids was too much for me to forgive. But we can still save the galaxy. That's all he needed to do wait for him to come down wait for his wife to reach him and than be his brother even if it's for the last time. This man was called the damn negotiator.
What if when Anakin tells Windu about Palpatine being a Sith that Windu was the only council member nearby. Windu thinks about going with Anakin but senses the confusion in him. On the way to confront Palpatine, Windu spots three of the older younglings (12 or 14 years old) and has them join him. Entering Palpatine's office, after some discussion, Palpatine launches at the Jedi and within seconds has killed the three younglings. Wait! This is basically what happened, never mind.

Crossover idea that’s not completely a crossover. What if the Thanos snap happened in the Star Wars galaxy? Basically the events of the Avengers movies happen but since they are both different galaxies, they don’t ever interact and nobody in the SW galaxy has any idea of what’s happening. Happens during the battle of Lothal. Thrawn gets dusted and along with the majority of his forces. Ezra and the ghost crew survive the snap. With Thrawn gone Ezra doesn’t disappear with the purgil. Lothal is taken back from the empire and during the chaos of the snap maybe the full rebellion starts earlier. The Empire is hit badly, Palpatine survives the snap but maybe Vader doesn’t. Surviving Jedi come out of hiding and help the rebellion and Palpatine dies, but the rebellion has to fight again when everyone comes back from the snap. The rebellion wins, not easily but still wins. Have it Ezra x Sabine in a story. Especially this one after all the snap would bring loved ones together. Also you’ve had like a million of Anakin falling in love with others story, give the Sabezra ship some love.
This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Kit Fisto stopping Anakin from saving Palpatine getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that this is probably one of the most interesting/unique scenarios in SW…but it’s a welcome one. Also if Fisto did stop Palpatine…then it would definitely be an interesting opportunity to show another side of his character and make it even more interesting. It was also nice to see Fisto having a strong fight getting shown some love, since he usually never gets the chance to do crazy stunt llike this (more than usual) that much and it was a nice change of pace to see him take the initiative and definitely made us all impressed. Plus it was nice to see Fisto get that opportunity to help out his fellow Jedi as well as having a role in aiding to help prevent certain events from happening…afterall it was nice to see him have a solid plan, afterall this was probably the smartest course of action she could take, so it was nice to see him come up with this plan to shift the power balance of the galaxy, since he knows that there’s still opportunity and hope in the galaxy. Also it’s always nice to see just how determined Fisto truly is…also this was definitely something Fisto would do. Also I think Fisto genuinely wanted what was best for Anakin and was just looking out for him…he’s just such a chill guy. Also Fisto is one of my favourite Jedi from SW and it’s nice to see you include him in such an amazing ‘what if’ story like this and give him the love and respect he deserved. Also I love that Acolyte reference regarding Jedi killing other Jedi…it was a nice touch. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

Yeah, I can see that happening if Windu did succeed in ending Palpatine, Anakin and Fisto just jumped along for the ride. A part of me is surprised they could fight off the reserve droid army that well but I guess things were lined up well enough that despite everything the clones and the Jedi were able to make do. A shame so many lives are lost before the Separatist Council is killed, but honestly it's probably still better than what could have been. People might say the clones at Coruscant were lucky someone told Anakin about Padme being alright before he started a killing spree, but I'd say Anakin is lucky that happened before Fox really got sick of him and executed him on the spot. Even if the Order isn't a fan of diving into politics, I think it's nice they got a better say om what happens in the Republic. What if Kreia succeeded in destroying the Force?
I really have a hard time seeing the Jedi punish Anakin heavily. He tried to stop someone from executing a prisoner. Regardless of realpolitik and expediency…. executing a prisoner is against the Jedi Code. Anakin’s reasons weren’t pure but what he did is what a Jedi should. The Jedi banished him for trying to stop a superior breaking the Code and murdering a prisoner? Anakin betrayed no one there, he followed the Code. Anakin would have every right to blame the Jedi and view them as hypocrites here. Mace and the Jedi should have realized how compromised and manipulated he was and how after they lecture him on the Code that Anakin trying to stop them from killing a close friend… he wouldn’t just stand there and do nothing. I don’t see how Anakin is in the wrong in this scenario. For the Jedi to punish him they literally can only do so because he didn’t let them break the code and stand by and allow a murder.
As we know darth vader was a natural engineer and could use mechaguru or whatever so what if he used skill to create nanobots to repair his lungs and burns while also making limbs that could conduct the force to make lightning. This could relate to inquisitor baris as she used nanobots in the bomb and he may remember nanobots and their uses. He could could also conduct experiments diguised as torture to fool sidious, learning to heal wounds, make force sensitive droids/limbs and using nano bots to manipulate mididclorians to strip or enhance the force in individuals. What I was thinking was that he used nanobots to remove scar tissue especially around the lungs and he would be dipped in bacta or bacta would be applied this would allow him breath which means he can meditate more deeply. And for the limbs, it is possible to make material force sensitive and I was thinking he make limbs skeletal looking like in attack of the clones but would then cover the we either grafed flesh from his body or flesh made from his blood and other ingredients like perhaps kyber crystal this would make the force flow from him easier and perhaps with the sith alchemy in the limbs making his force lightning more powerful. Basically an uber vader who is perhaps stronger than full potential anakin.

What if Ahsoka Tano trained Gungi on Lothal after ROTJ with Huang during the Ahsoka show? Get fist does not get the love he deserves. My favorite Jedi and it’s pretty close between him or plo koon both of them don’t get the love. They deserve and they should have been focused on more.
What if jocasta nu helped obi wan with anikan training providing texts and knowledge on the force and the original version of the code. Were obi wan can provide training about combat he does not possess knowledge of the higher mysteries which nu does such as force healing which would be useful in attack of clones. Plus it would anakin greater resources for learning and may become a consular or at least a sentinel instead of a guardian. All this could happen because of instead of sending anakin to his room where he just tinkers they send him to work in the library where nu will give him more discipline and may take a maternal interest.

Everyone forgets that Anakin didn't just snap he was driven insane and he kept trying to hold it together and by the time he realized what was going on he had made the wrong choice and than kept trying to justify it until he was on a burning planet consumed by hate rage and power. When he was talking to padme there's nothing but madness in his eyes until she starts crying he than thinks about just fucking leaving disappearing and hiding from the empire. And obi-wan being Obi-Wan ruined that.vjust like he did a number of things during the war. Like constantly lying to a kid with trust issues. Not being up front but still hoping for the best even though you know every mistake you make with the chosen one could shift him anywhere. The same man that warned them not to make him choose between the Jedi and palpatine. And even then Anakin choose them he just wouldn't choose them over his wife and kids an honestly reality. Which palpatine played with like a master pianist. Obi-wan should never have gotten off the ship Anakin didn't even sense him. He could've let them talk he's done it on so many missions of the same caliber. And had he waited just long enough for her to convince him to turn away he could've avoided a fight and gotten him on his side by just being honest you killing the kids was too much for me to forgive. But we can still save the galaxy. That's all he needed to do wait for him to come down wait for his wife to reach him and than be his brother even if it's for the last time. This man was called the damn negotiator.

What if the Thanos snap happened in the Star Wars galaxy?
Basically the events of the Avengers movies happen but since they are both different galaxies, they don’t ever interact and nobody in the SW galaxy has any idea of what’s happening.
Happens during the battle of Lothal. Thrawn gets dusted and along with the majority of his forces. Ezra and the ghost crew survive the snap. With Thrawn gone Ezra doesn’t disappear with the purgil. Lothal is taken back from the empire and during the chaos of the snap maybe the full rebellion starts earlier. The Empire is hit badly, Palpatine survives the snap but maybe Vader doesn’t. Surviving Jedi come out of hiding and help the rebellion and Palpatine dies, but the rebellion has to fight again when everyone comes back from the snap. The rebellion wins, not easily but still wins.
Have it Ezra x Sabine in a story. Especially this one after all the snap would bring loved ones together. Also you’ve had like a million of Anakin falling in love with others story, give the Sabezra ship some love.

This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Kit Fisto stopping Anakin from saving Palpatine getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that this is probably one of the most interesting/unique scenarios in SW…but it’s a welcome one. Also if Fisto did stop Palpatine…then it would definitely be an interesting opportunity to show another side of his character and make it even more interesting. It was also nice to see Fisto having a strong fight getting shown some love, since he usually never gets the chance to do crazy stunt llike this (more than usual) that much and it was a nice change of pace to see him take the initiative and definitely made us all impressed. Plus it was nice to see Fisto get that opportunity to help out his fellow Jedi as well as having a role in aiding to help prevent certain events from happening…afterall it was nice to see him have a solid plan, afterall this was probably the smartest course of action she could take, so it was nice to see him come up with this plan to shift the power balance of the galaxy, since he knows that there’s still opportunity and hope in the galaxy. Also it’s always nice to see just how determined Fisto truly is…also this was definitely something Fisto would do. Also I think Fisto genuinely wanted what was best for Anakin and was just looking out for him…he’s just such a chill guy. Also Fisto is one of my favourite Jedi from SW and it’s nice to see you include him in such an amazing ‘what if’ story like this and give him the love and respect he deserved. Also I love that Acolyte reference regarding Jedi killing other Jedi…it was a nice touch. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next.
I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s:
1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling.
2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever.
3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this.
4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st)

Yeah, I can see that happening if Windu did succeed in ending Palpatine, Anakin and Fisto just jumped along for the ride.
A part of me is surprised they could fight off the reserve droid army that well but I guess things were lined up well enough that despite everything the clones and the Jedi were able to make do. A shame so many lives are lost before the Separatist Council is killed, but honestly it's probably still better than what could have been.
People might say the clones at Coruscant were lucky someone told Anakin about Padme being alright before he started a killing spree, but I'd say Anakin is lucky that happened before Fox really got sick of him and executed him on the spot.
Even if the Order isn't a fan of diving into politics, I think it's nice they got a better say om what happens in the Republic.

I really have a hard time seeing the Jedi punish Anakin heavily. He tried to stop someone from executing a prisoner. Regardless of realpolitik and expediency…. executing a prisoner is against the Jedi Code. Anakin’s reasons weren’t pure but what he did is what a Jedi should.
The Jedi banished him for trying to stop a superior breaking the Code and murdering a prisoner?
Anakin betrayed no one there, he followed the Code. Anakin would have every right to blame the Jedi and view them as hypocrites here.
Mace and the Jedi should have realized how compromised and manipulated he was and how after they lecture him on the Code that Anakin trying to stop them from killing a close friend… he wouldn’t just stand there and do nothing.
I don’t see how Anakin is in the wrong in this scenario. For the Jedi to punish him they literally can only do so because he didn’t let them break the code and stand by and allow a murder.

As we know darth vader was a natural engineer and could use mechaguru or whatever so what if he used skill to create nanobots to repair his lungs and burns while also making limbs that could conduct the force to make lightning. This could relate to inquisitor baris as she used nanobots in the bomb and he may remember nanobots and their uses. He could could also conduct experiments diguised as torture to fool sidious, learning to heal wounds, make force sensitive droids/limbs and using nano bots to manipulate mididclorians to strip or enhance the force in individuals.
What I was thinking was that he used nanobots to remove scar tissue especially around the lungs and he would be dipped in bacta or bacta would be applied this would allow him breath which means he can meditate more deeply. And for the limbs, it is possible to make material force sensitive and I was thinking he make limbs skeletal looking like in attack of the clones but would then cover the we either grafed flesh from his body or flesh made from his blood and other ingredients like perhaps kyber crystal this would make the force flow from him easier and perhaps with the sith alchemy in the limbs making his force lightning more powerful. Basically an uber vader who is perhaps stronger than full potential anakin.

Get fist does not get the love he deserves. My favorite Jedi and it’s pretty close between him or plo koon both of them don’t get the love. They deserve and they should have been focused on more.
What if jocasta nu helped obi wan with anikan training providing texts and knowledge on the force and the original version of the code. Were obi wan can provide training about combat he does not possess knowledge of the higher mysteries which nu does such as force healing which would be useful in attack of clones. Plus it would anakin greater resources for learning and may become a consular or at least a sentinel instead of a guardian. All this could happen because of instead of sending anakin to his room where he just tinkers they send him to work in the library where nu will give him more discipline and may take a maternal interest.
