What makes this guy giraffe neck? I've looked at his neck and to me, I mean, I guess it's maybe a little bit long, but certainly in bounds, and not that of a giraffe. I'm confused.
Personally I think if Prince hadn’t gotten hurt he’d probably be in the hall of fame that neck injury after he got to Texas unfortunately ended his career

Would have had a pretty powerful bat in that lineup during their contending years, but at the same time, they might not have ended up with Trout, so they'd have been worse down the line. Letting him go works out in their favor I think value-wise in the long term, but with Tex on the Angels instead of the Yanks in the ALCS in 09, the Angels might just have had gotten a WS title that year, hard to say.

Without that second pick to use, they probably just sign Trout. They were higher on him.

He was a top 3 first baseman almost his entire career, is one of the few players to hit 50 bombs in a season recently, and he played all 162 games like 3 separate times! Players with career ending injuries like him should be treated differently, cause without the neck problems he was a lock for HoF at the pace he was going.
