    This video is an excellent example of why Esther is the perfect instructor. This pattern had lots of tricky spots, like back purl bump stitch placement, and Esther's calm, clear "let's keep our wits about us" logic fills the crocheter with confidence.

    If you didn't walk me through this with your lovely patient voice, I may not have tried it because of the tricky spots. It's so lovely I can't wait to finish it 💖😊

    I have to admit, some instructors have annoying voices, especially when they say the same thing over and over. Your pleasant voice and infinite patience makes you a great teacher. Thank you!!!!!!!!

    I know you did this video a while back but I am using it now and see others are too. I love your videos!!! You don’t move so quickly that I can’t keep up or figure out what you are doing. You explain yourself stitches extremely well. I found myself smiling as I was going because mine was looking like yours and I was in the same place as you so my stitch count was correct! You have such a calm voice and I just find your tutorials so enjoyable!! I am making cushions for my kitchen chairs and doing them all in different squares but using the same color pallet. I appreciate you and your talent so much!! Next cushion is going to have one of your nuts about squares patterns I have not decided which one yet. All of them will be using your videos though!! In one I did use one of Anya’s patterns from Ophelia talks. I used her daisy in the corner pattern for one cushion. I love her too, she is a dear person!! Anyway, now that I have written a book as I am isolating due to having Coronavirus y’all are keeping me company and helping me make cushions!! 😍🤪

    Might I suggest using stitch markers to flag every second stitch before commencing the chain 8's on round 2. It's the only way I've been able to keep track which stitch to s/s into next 🙂

      Thanks for this great tip! I tried without them first, and my count was off. Frogged back and marked every other stitch, and it went much better! Definitely recommend doing this, especially if you're using the thinner Sunkissed yarn.

    Please can you let me know what the stitch count is after round 10? I'm on round 11 and it's not adding up. Thank you

    • @Itsallinanutshell
      @Itsallinanutshell  ปีที่แล้ว

      the stitch count is in the written pattern, I don't have that with me, I am not the designer of the square, I only made the video for it as part of a larger project

    Scheepjes yarn is not available to me in the US. I was wondering how many yarns the skeins are and what the weight is?
    By the way, I LOVE the invisible join.

    • @Itsallinanutshell
      @Itsallinanutshell  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      it's a nice technique :)
      Scheepjes is carried by Love Crochet (US based), and Wool Warehouse ship internationally at very reasonable rates. All info about the yarn for this project is on my blog. Link in video description

    In your video for stone washed yarn, you say use 4.00 and 3.5 hooks. Surely that is the sizes for colour crafter?

    • @Itsallinanutshell
      @Itsallinanutshell  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In this video I am using 4mm and 3.5mm. This video is a selfcontained entity.
      This is not the same as the instructions for Nuts About Squares, no.

  • @rumbanisse

    I`m kind of confused here. The normal hook size for Stone Washed is 3,5. And according to the blog the normal hook size is required here. And in this video you are using hook size 4 and 3,5. Should I go up a hook size?

    • @Itsallinanutshell
      @Itsallinanutshell  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe I mixed up hook sized when I was making the video. Use the 3.5 and 3mm hooks is best if I recall.
