I knew I wanted to do a project with a very detailed pattern. It came down to 2. Your tutorial was done so very well that I chose this pattern based on that. You did an excellent job making things clear and giving pointers. Thank you! Reading the pattern drove me nuts! I never would have made it with just the written pattern. In fact, I never once looked at the written version once I started with your tutorial. You turned what could have been a very frustrating process into a joyful and fulfilling project!
I am still a rank novice at crochet, but your instructions and demonstrations are absolutely SUPERB! I am pretty sure my poor all-thumbs/non-crafty hubby could follow this, so am 100% confident that I can. This is one of the most exquisite squares I have ever seen!!!

I like how you teach us to make an invisible stitch at the end of round 7...I have been crocheting for over 40 years and never saw that trick before. It is available in the US. LoveCrochet stock it and Wool Warehouse are very reliable. If you buy your yarn through the links on my blog I get commission on it and it costs you nothing. 😊

Wow!! I did it, and it's one of the most proud crochet pieces I've ever made. I can't stop staring at it. Although I've been crocheting for five years, I still consider myself a beginner. Your tutorial was excellent. It would have helped me a great deal if you had shown closing each round. I know it seems like an obvious thing, but with my brain, it still gets very confusing. I made 2 and created myself a slingbag! I put them back to back and joined with dc's. I braided yarn to make straps. (My granny square came out smaller and tight so it was firm enough to make a bag... came out cool!)

Beautiful flower square! Wanted to compliment you you how you display the item and yarn in a nice fashion without putting your hands in the way! It is also terrific how you just in right into the project!!! You display the item (so one can decide they want it) and then you just start with directions! This great!
