Me, as someone who got into the books before the series, still have resentment on Dumb and Dumber for the total annihilation of my favourites arcs in the books
I always wondered why the Bolton army showed no reaction at all when they saw Wun Wun. Apart from the wildlings, everyone believes that giants don't really exist. Jon Snow looked shocked when he saw a giant for the first time. Wun Wun's presence should have had some psychological effect on the Bolton army.
Maybe. It was one giant, in a small group of soldiers they expected to dominate... Now if the were "GIANTS RIDING MAMMOTHS DOWN THERE", I could imagine them being at least a little intimidated...
I think the biggest error in game of thrones was when the giant was running through the ice tunnel there was a portcullis in his way, how does a portcullis work in a tunnel carved out of ice😅
@@davidwindell Don't think that's required. Simply ask yourself whether it makes sense for him to turn up on her fleet right after having just been half a world away. In the books, Quentyn Martell goes on a long painful journey from Dorne to Meereen, but Varys cpmpletes literally the same trip in the blink of an eye. That's prime inconsistency right there.
@@CultureVultureMedia1 What about S1 episode 1, when the folks of King's Landing travels from the capital to Winterfell in the span of 10 minutes? Yes they say the trip took s month, but in show-time it took about 2 scenes. The showrunners even said behind-the-scenes that events don't happen at the same time, over the same amount of time. And that makes sense especially considering a show like GoT which have so many storylines going on. Skipping over periods of time is normal in shows and films and has been done since S1, so I don't see why it suddenly is a problem here.
@@triplewario The time between the events of episode 1 had no consequence though. It's entirely different. In S7, events were very much dependent on the time it takes for someone to travel, so imagine if Danaerys actually had taken the 2 days it should to fly from Dragonstone to beyond the wall. The boys would be dead, whereas if it takes longer for Robert Baratheon to travel to Winterfell in ep1, nothing changes.
The fact that Cersei blew up The Sacred Symbol of The Westerosi Fate of the Seven with most of the rulling nobility and The High Sparrow inside and the city didn't burn to the ground while The Reach, The Stromlands and The Westerlands didn't insta revolt is beyond ridiculous. Especially Highgarden should just close the borders of The Reach to the Crown and it's over, they get no food. The people shoudl have rioted for a month or something lol.
Seriously she basically blew up the Vatican killing the pope and several nobles including the beloved queen. The fact that there were no consequences is absolutely ridiculous. Especially since the Tarlys support Cersei in season 7 because she was “born in Westeros” and that Olenna betrayed the crown with no mention of why Olenna betrayed the crown 🤦🏻♀️
@@TheValk777 "Olenna betrayed the crown... no mention of why..." Do you mean when she helped to poison that little piece of feces, Joffrey? It actually DID answer that... Olenna didn't want her granddaughter married to Joffrey, because she knew what a POS he was... but she DID want her granddaughter to be queen... so, kill Joffrey to get him out of the way,
Yeah, that should have been the end of any support the Lannisters had from anyone. Robb lost the support of one or two of the North's houses when he had a man executed after killing prisoners. For something they didn't directly do. Cercei blows up the Sept with a bunch of important people in it, and nothing bad happens aside from Tommen killing himself.
I'd clock that as more a season 7 flaw. I think people just being so gobsmacked initially she can take the crown is not unrealistic, especially when she has the Lannister army. Season 7, though, should have explored those consequences.
@@SIngli6 The Lannister Army could do nothing to Highgarden and she murdered Westerlands nobility as well so there is no reason for all her banner to be with her, she murdered the lord of Casterly Rock.
Will never get tired of videos complaining about GOT. It's downfall was so bad it's hard to believe. They had a goldmine of material but were too stupid or lazy to utilize it. We're right to keep complaining. We were thoroughly invested in the story and characters. I actually think GRRM is taking so long on the last book because he's completely demoralized after what they did with the show.
Wouldn't be surprised if that were the case with George. I know how fed up with GoT I feel everytime I make a video complaining about it, haha! But you're right, it's important to complain. Storytelling is human nature, so it's important to encourage high levels of it.
He must be depressed very big time. They did an unrepairable damage to Game of Thrones as the biggest fanbase left it and will never come back. Got could ve been a big Franchise like Harry Potter or Lord of Rings, which are still living and have countless games/movies etc., but they burried it.
I agree with everything you said in this video. I never understood why the Waif hated Arya, or why she was chasing her through the streets when the faceless men are supposed to be very discreet when they kill someone. I also didn't think you could leave the faceless men so easy without consequences.
@@sydnitheromantictaylor112 Like, would it have been so much to ask to at least have him following her and giving her a sneaky sign of approval after having made sure she's not going to use the faces and knowledge for something too crazy? I mean that would still be totally against what the FLM are all about, but to at least lay that plot to rest at last.
Khal Drogo got scratched by an infected sickle -> Got paralyzed and died. Talisa Stark got stabbed by a clean knife in her belly -> Eviscerated and bled to death. Meanwhile, Arya got stabbed by a dirty knife in her belly then jumped into a shit water -> Running around just fine. No infection what so ever.
That's exactly why GOT worked so well in the first place. Loved characters actually DYING from such wounds that accur ever so often. Seeing Arya stabbed like this and surving not only the stabbing but also the infection - that she never cought in first place - really threw me off. The lack of plot armor in the first seasons drove all of GOT so well and all that was just gone.
I love how Rickon died and John just looked down at him while passing and that's basically the last you ever hear from him at all. Arya never learns how he died or even that he did die in the first place lmao.
@@bfarewell296to be fair to them, rickon just didn't have anything to do in the entier series, partially because a planned timeskip would have ages him past 9, so he could be useful
The idea of kinslaying being a major taboo seemed to get discarded in later seasons. It became just a normal thing to murder your family if they stood in the way of your political goals. This is one of the most frustrating changes to me in GoT. How does a society even function when killing your father or your brother to get ahead is practically expected?
Exactly, if kinslaying was so accepted in Westeros Tywin would have smothered Tyrion as soon as he laid eyes upon him. A more subtle change sure but a one that had lasting impact and was part of a greater domino effect unfortunately.
One thing you missed is that it makes no sense for the sand snakes to kill Oberyns brother and nephew as that would be a major betrayal of the family he loved and cared about.
In the books, from what I've heard, there is many houses in each of the domains. Basically, the sand snakes and Ellaria Sand to me are like a terrorist organization in Dorne. The fact that she becomes the leader of Dorne to me is like Cersei becoming Queen after blowing up the Sept of Baelor. Characters in GoT used to create the story; now, since the story "needs" to go this way, all consequences of your actions are lost, or left unanswered.
@@mightydigebuge In the books Ellaria is the polar opposite to her character on the show, she's just Oberyn's quasi widow who wants to mourn in peace and protect her daughters, she tries to get Doran and the older sand snakes who are not her daughters to stop with their revenge plans that already cost Oberyn his life. The older sand snakes and a book only character who's Doran's daughter and Doran himself keep plotting revenge on the Lannisters and it's likely they will do a lot of damage to their own family and Dorne in the process. Unfortunately the population of Dorne over all seems to think revenge is in order even though, as Ellaria points out, he chose to fight in that trial by combat entirely by himself, so there are no terrorists, the Dorne plot is about people destroying themselves in pursuit of revenge, a lot of characters are seeking revenge, it's a major theme of the books.
@@CultureVultureMedia1 Not really. The sand snakes could have just imprisoned Oberyn's brother and nephew in the water gardens. They knew he died to avenge his sibling so killing another sibling would be a disappointment.
A detail I noticed about Sansa's revenge on Ramsey, as he sits in the kennels. He tells her his hounds will never harm him. She responds that "he hadn't fed them in seven days, you said so yourself." The problem is, Ramsey Told Jon about "how excited his hounds were to meet them, he hasn't fed them in seven days" directly after Sansa declared that Ramsey "is going to die tomorrow" before riding off. She wasn't there to hear him say this to Jon and we have no reason to assume Jon relayed the remark.
I noticed this when I rewatched it but assumed I was just loosing my mind and it was mentioned but I’m happy to hear I’m not the only one who noticed that
The horse died because it and the rider are just one entity called "Mounted Knight". The hounds disappeared because they weren't technically units, but actually just spells by the entity "Hound Trainer". _Clearly_ whoever preposterously criticizes that never played an RTS game (which are following the same rules as real life, obviously).
I love the description “His horse decides to die as well, despite not being hurt.” It’s like the horse was thinking “I can go on no longer. Mourn me friends. Remember me for the magnificent stallion that I was, and not this pitiful wretch so easily taken out by the (difficult to believe) death of my abysmal rider.”
I mean it would've been pretty intriguing to see the reaction of the commonfolk when Cersei immediately ascends to power and how the destruction of the Sept of Baelor affected them. But oh well who needs consistent writing when you have dragons, am I right?
So true. It would have better if this triggered a mass revolt, causing Cercei to flee kings landing as the mob breaches the gate to kill everyone inside. So Cercei is forced to flee to Casterly rock where even then she isn't safe from the furious pesantry and minor lords begin refusing to fight for her.
@@rainmanslim4611 this is stupid however. If nobody fights for here then we don't have any conflict in season 7 and it becomes even more boring. The thing that they should have done is that cercei should have blamed the explosion on daenerys because she supports the red god and has dragons.
@@lokidoki525 your reasoning is that we have a stupid ending to a major storyline, so that it sets up another storyline. They have the power to write in Cersei coming back in season 7, even after a revolt. It would’ve given us a season of Cersei conniving her way back into power, instead of 2 seasons of her standing around drinking wine.
@@lokidoki525 It doesn't have to become boring is the thing. Cercei's departure leaves yet another power struggle inside King's landing and new players could be introduced to fight for the crown. If they did the Faegon thing from the books, that would leave a good opportunity for him to come in as Rhaegar's son and claim the throne which would bring them into conflict Dany. There's so many possibilities, man!
I think the greatest gift we got from Game of Thrones is Sansa’s magnificent display of supreme intelligence. It mirrored that of Dan and Dave’s. It’s like poetry, it rhymes.
Such a great show of supreme intelligence by Sansa such as showing hostility to a woman who had two flying nuclear weapons that can obliterate Winterfell at will.
It might have been season 5 I don't remember, but it always bothered me how Sansa and Theon didn't break their legs when jumping from those high Winterfell walls, and are able to run to that river like nothing happened.
@@CultureVultureMedia1 My bad. And thanks. But I want to ask, I see your channel is new, after you're done with season 7 are you planning to do more GoT videos or you're gonna do something else ?
Well there is a precedent for people surviving such a fall in prague sparked the thirty year war, the wall was a slight slope with a muddy terrain with loads of grass so the people being thrown out of the window survived without harm. (I think it even happend twice in prague xd). But the show and Hollywood have completly switched of logic (sad thing is some people believe shit like a small girl being able to kill a knight in full battle armour oh well, its not like the knight has been trained to kill or so and is a few kilos heavier)
Well in a snowy country, the roads gets cleared after a snowstorm [Talking about our actual time, because otherwise I couldn't get my car out to go to work]. Does that means that all the terrain gets to level zero of amount of snow ? Absolutely not. On the bottom of castle walls, I'm pretty sure the wind currents would make it snow stays there, and even if the roads melt up or get cleared, they're would be place places where alot of snow is still laying around. Now about how to survive a 10, 20 or 30 meters wall jumping into a 1,2, or 3 meters snow spot is questionable. There is fluffy snow and there is hard packed snow. If you land bad it could be terrible but on other circumstances, it could be just like jumping into a balloon.
A lengthy list of additional errors off the top of my head just while watching this video. I don't care if no-one reads it, it's just cathartic to say it!: - Brienne having her cake and eating it too - her going after Stannis rather than saving Sansa should have had consequences for her character, for Sansa, for the plot. But no. - The awesome Aero Hotah going out just like that to Tyene without even a fight. He killed a Kingsguard in the books ffs, his culture makes him basically married to his axe. - The Sand Snakes teleported onto a ship which left without them. Unless we assume the ship turned around which would have made sense to do because Myrcella died right off the coast, but then there is no way Jaime would have allowed the co-conspirators onto the ship heading to King's Landing, and nor would Doran. Plus if Doran knew of Myrcella's murder, the scene where he died would have made no sense because we see him comfortable with Ellaria and then shocked when he reads the news about Myrcella. - The complete reversal of Ellaria's opinions and personality compared to book Ellaria who has an amazing monologue about revenge being pointless and a vicious cycle that needs stopping, but that could be classed as a season 5 mistake. - I can accept Melisandre's lapse in faith, but I can't accept Davos' complete 180 - he trusts Mel when he never has, he calls her magic "miracles" when he hates bloodmagic, he suddenly cares about Jon's corpse for no reason rather than Stannis who he's dedicated his life to for 20 years, and he suggests resurrection is even possible when he'd have no reason for that to even occur to him, and why not Stannis if it does? - The waif baring a personal grudge against Arya goes against all of the Faceless Men's training and ideology. - Merchants are allowed in Vaes Dothrak, it's a trade city, there are loads of people there. Daario and Jorah shouldn't seem suspicious. - Killing a man by smashing his skull in is still spilling blood in the sacred city. The reason why Viserys died how he did was because it was bloodless (and poetic). - Dany not knowing the Dothraki culture well enough to know about the dosh khaleen. She lived as a Dothraki for like a year, she spent time in Vaes Dothrak and is a khaleesi whose destiny is the dosh khaleen - she would have known what was expected of her upon Drogo's death. - Dany being fireproof. I'll accept it... it's wrong, but I'll accept it. - All the Dothraki being fine with Dany killing all their khals and burning down part of their city. Even if most of them respected her power, at least the bloodriders should have tried to avenge their khals. - Coldhands isn't Benjen. - Ser Barristan's dismissal from the Kingsguard was unprecedented and massively insulting. Would the Lannisters really break tradition again and do that to one of their their own? - Dany naming her entire khalasar as her bloodriders. There are traditionally only three per khal. Their role is as a personal bodyguard, and upon the death of their khal they are to exact revenge and then kill themselves to join their khal in the nightlands. Dany is basically making the Dothraki extinct upon her death. - The waif revealing her identity, wanting Arya dead, choosing a dagger as an assassination method and botching the kill are all just stupid. The idea is that a Faceless Man has no personal identity so the fact she has a main face that she would use in public is dumb, especially during a murder attempt. Faceless Men are not meant to be allowed to assassinate people they are familiar with to avoid personal feelings, which are not allowed anyway. And Faceless Men are so good because they are meant to not fail and usually make it look like an accident or a natural death, not a murder. After the stabbing, no-one even attempted to help a bleeding out child in the streets. - An extension to your point about Brienne being compelled to fight for the Tullys - in earlier seasons she specifically differentiated between serving Lady Catelyn and not serving the Starks after killing Stark soldiers. She doesn't believe in being compelled to fight for anybody besides those she's sworn to. - The assumption is that Arya beat the waif (offscreen) in the darkness because Arya learnt how to fight blind. But in the books it's made clear that all Faceless Men trainees go through blind training to improve their use of their other senses. So the waif should have been quite comfortable in the dark as well. - Arya drinking the poison to regain her sight just makes no sense at all. I think it's meant to reflect her faith or honestly about being no-one or something (which she doesn't even have by the way), but it's just a pool of poison, she should have died there. They tried so hard to make everything about the Faceless Men mysterious and weird but really it just didn't make any sense. - Rhaegal and Viserion have just been sitting in Meereen's dragon pit all this time and just happen to bust through a wall right on schedule. - Yara having the complete opposite views to her book counterpart, Asha. In the books Asha based her entire rulership bid at the kingsmoot on changing the old ways of reaving and raping because that hasn't got them anywhere, but that's a deal-breaker for her with Dany in the show. Also don't go to a negotiation and say "our way of life is attacking, stealing from and kidnapping the people of the realm you want to rule", it's not a smart move. - The fact that Euron admitted kinslaying Balon and everyone is just fine with that. Then everyone is just fine with him wanting to kinslay Theon and Yara. Kinslaying is one of the most serious crimes. - Euron drowned but then just comes back to life again without being resuscitated. - The simplification and scaling down of the kingsmoot, one of the most epic scenes in the books. - The smartest person I've ever met had only one real piece of advice for Jon - don't do what Ramsay wants him to do... which is the very first thing he does. - I know the Battle of the Bastards was inspired by real battles but when the Battle of Cannae was described to have so many bodies they "were an obstacle on the battlefield" I really doubt it meant organised piles about three metres tall. Four or five bodies deep would be obstacle enough. - The entire Battle of the Bastards was impressive visually but really predictable from a story/plot perspective. Before going in, I knew the Starks would win, Ramsay would likely die, the Vale army would come to save the day. Every event was as boring as it could be. - Ramsay shooting Wun Wun rather than shooting Jon. - Removing the Tyrells in one swoop was kind of disappointing. Also Cersei kinslaying, killing the Pope and destroying the Vatican has no consequences at all. - Cersei being crowned with no claim to the throne and being a woman has no setup or precedence in this show where it is well established that it it patriarchal and feudal succession is everything. Basically everyone would object her rule because she has no claim to it whatsoever. Even if she was the rightful heir it wouldn't be smooth on account of her being a woman. - Jon Snow being crowned with no claim to the Northern crown, being a bastard and seemingly a Night's Watch deserter has no setup or precedence in this show where it is well established that bastards have no inheritance rights, are looked down upon by society and are even seen as distrustful. Plus nobody would believe his story about dying and coming back to life, relieving him of his Night's Watch vows, so in everyone's minds he would be a deserter, particularly distasteful in the North and punishable by execution. - Plus everything you mentioned in this video which I didn't bother to repeat.
Wow, grand stuff mate. - Brienne going after Stannis rather than Sansa would have been a sweet trade-off and cool & complex character dev! - Aero Hotah going out so easily is cheap! - The Sand Snakes teleported onto a ship which left without them. I understood it as them being on a different ship. Myrcella's ship arrives safely in KL eventually, and I suspect they would have killed Jaime too if they were on the same boat. - The complete reversal of Ellaria's opinions is really sad, yeah. - Davos' complete trusting Mel is actually kinda strange when you think about it. Last-ditch attempt at revival, yes, but why Jon before Davos even having a close relationship with him. Perhaps he saw something in him and believed Jon was the answer to the White Walker problem. Although, since they don't have Stannis' body, it makes sense to not try and revive him. - The waif baring a personal grudge against Arya. A thousand times this. - Merchants are allowed in Vaes Dothrak. Amen. - Dany not knowing the Dothraki culture well enough to know about the dosh khaleen. She knew, but chose a different path. She tried bending the rules, and broke those who didn't bend to her will. Fair enough. - Dany being fireproof. Yeah, if they choose to change that, then fine, whatever. - All the Dothraki being fine with Dany killing all their khals and burning down part of their city. Even if most of them respected her power, at least the bloodriders should have tried to avenge their khals. Totally missed that one, daing it! - Coldhands isn't Benjen. Oh snap! I'm more concerned with his useless magic fireballs. - Ser Barristan's dismissal from the Kingsguard was unprecedented and massively insulting. Would the Lannisters really break tradition again and do that to one of their their own? Yeah, not defending it, but might make sense with Tommen's age and being influenced by the HS. - Dany naming her entire khalasar as her bloodriders. This is pretty much cultural appropriation. - Brienne serving Lady Catelyn and not the Starks is a great way to illustrate that point. - Arya beating the Waif in the dark. Yeah, I could go out on a limb for this one and say Arya was fresh off the blind, so she'd be quicker to adapt to the dark in the moment. Plus the sword against the Waif's dagger. - Arya drinking the poison to regain her sight just makes no sense at all. Fair point. - Rhaegal and Viserion have just been sitting in Meereen's dragon pit all this time and just happen to bust through a wall right on schedule. It's mind-blowingly bad. - Don't go to a negotiation with "our way of life is attacking, stealing from and kidnapping". Haha, nicely put! She's so stunning and brave for wanting to rape people though. - The fact that everyone is fine with Euron's kinslaying. Yes, this is taken way too lightly! - Euron drowned but then just comes back to life again without being resuscitated. Right, is this common or not? I don't remember how they do it in the books. - The smartest person I've ever met had only one real piece of advice for Jon - don't do what Ramsay wants him to do... which is the very first thing he does. It's almost like Sansa gets to be right for the convenience of making her look smart. - I know the Battle of the Bastards was inspired by real battles but when the Battle of Cannae was described to have so many bodies they "were an obstacle on the battlefield" I really doubt it meant organised piles about three metres tall. Four or five bodies deep would be obstacle enough. Haha! Yeah, they stacked up mighty fast lol - The entire Battle of the Bastards was impressive visually but really predictable from a story/plot perspective. Yup, the unpredictabillity of the show died with Oberyn. - Ramsay shooting Wun Wun rather than shooting Jon. Yeah. As well as none of the Winterfell garrison shooting Jon, Tormund or Wun-Wun as they approached the gates on their own. - Cersei being crowned with no claim to the throne. I should definitely have expanded on this. - Jon Snow being crowned with no claim to the Northern crown, being a bastard and seemingly a Night's Watch deserter. That's true!
I hated the battle of the bastards episode so much, I used to skip it on rewatches. I don't care if it's got a cool shot or two. It's entirely moronic how Jon grew a plot armour. Also Jon won't be salty that Sansa had the knights of the vale in her backpocket but forgot to mention that. Rickon could've been saved if Ramsay felt like he was at a masive disadvantage. How can this show produce beautiful battle episodes like blackwater and my favourite watchers on the wall but then present us with this pile of garbage?
You need to get out more Sam😉 A personal bugbear, how quick Euron built a ginormous fleet after theon n yara had scarpered...for starters, where did they get the trees?? ffs.....
Bruh I read through every single one of them. From season 5 the writing went to complete shit. But at least season 5 still somewhat felt like game of thrones, by season 6 it felt like a marvel movie.
@@CultureVultureMedia1 sorry, wasn't it established that dany was fire proof since season 1? I'm not understanding. Great video tho. Unfortunately got had too many erros. for the video to have them all would be a 1h long video
A theory about why the Waif didn't like Arya is because the Waif was able to see into the future, and saw that Arya killing the Night King would piss a bunch of people off. The Waif was also the wine Merchant from season 1, trying to prevent the cluster fuck that was Season 8, Episode 5. There's speculation that the Waif was also the mutineers in the Night's Watch trying to save Jon's character, but GRRM never confirmed this.
People made a lot of fun of Tommens death, but honestly, I felt sorry for the kid. And the book thus far seems to agree - Kevan was a genuine good advisor for Tommen and he a kind hearted, if naive, king. He would probably have made out to be the best ruler of the whole lot of options available.
13:59 yeah, that ricon running straight ahead was a bad decision of him, but I think in this situation many people would act like that. There are some reasons for this: 1. he was very scared and can't think clear, many people would be like this if they are in fear of death 2. he just wants to get as fast as possible to his brother 3. he is just a little boy and not every person is as smart as all the viewers seems to be
Yeah this is the one critique I have never got behind, my brother was aiming a water gun at me once and even the fear of that made me run striaght rather than zag - imagine a pyschopath with a bow and arrow!
after the first arrow missed, he should have definitely known to not run in a straight line, because for all he knows, he could be hit because he is slightly to the left or right of where the arrow barely missed him.
To collect all the mistakes in only 20 minutes seems implausible to me, but I'm liking how other seasons are getting more attention now, not just season 8. Season 6 was the one that made me realise that the ending was going to be bad. The sadness/anger/disappointment/frustration everyone felt for season 8 I think I felt for season 6 which in a way made the bad ending easier for me to digest, I'd already processed the downfall of the show. But I did feel more alone in my view because a lot of people said season 6 was the best season of all.
When I started criticizing season 6, no one I talked to agreed with me. I thought everyone was taking crazy pills or watching a different show or something.
I had that same feeling! I even was called mysogyinistic for pointing out Dany was slowly becoming more and more psycho! Even so her twist in s8 felt still so out of nowhere. 😂
The second biggest issue this Season is how they did The Kingsmoot/Greyjoy Plot. The last time we saw Balon Greyjoy was in Season 3 so it feels like D&D have forgotten about him only to bring him back just to kill him. Then, there’s the removal of the other five or so claimants to The Salt Throne, one of whom is Victarion Greyjoy, The Lord Captain of The Iron Fleet who is sadly cut from the show and they mixed him with Yara Greyjoy. There’s also the removal of Euron’s epic speech where he says “Westeros is dying” and through charisma and promises of conquests, The Ironborn elect him King, seeing as he seeks to marry Daenerys and has The Dragonhorn. Euron is intimidating, he has blue lips and an eye patch. In the show… he’s a… frat boy who makes dumb cock jokes… because reasons…
Man basically shows up and says "uugh, look at my big dick, ya bunch of women! Let's build a massive unprecedented fleet in two weeks and subject ourselves to Cersei because I want to dip!"
@@CultureVultureMedia1 It's so dumb. His OG plan was to marry Daenerys and become King [Consort] and help her conquer Westeros, only to kill her once she gave birth to a son/heir until Yara left to join Dany. It makes sense for Euron to go to Cersei as "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". The idea was okay but the way they just did it on the show was awful as they had him be this ridiculous frat boy pirate. The character would've benefited if he were a mysterious yet charismatic man, who like his book counter-part, dabbled in black magic and idk, stole one of Dany's dragons.
Tbf Varys antagonizes the red priestess because he hates sorcerers due to his castration (established in an earlier season), especially a religion which claims to speak to flames. Although Varys should be smart enough not to deliberately and be so obvious with his hatred, also Varys would of had previous knowledge of them due to his youth on Essos and no doubt would've rubbed shoulders with Thoros of Myr in Kings Landing
Having Robb wed a Volantene healer out of love, instead of a Westerling out of a sense of honor in a moment of weakness while mourning his deep losses at a young age, and having little (or no?) mention of guest-right in the show weakened the Red Wedding to me significantly. The whole reason it even happened was because Tywin orchestrated it (during an excellent scene that was cut from the show where he’s talking to Tyrion and says ‘some wars are won with quills and ravens’) as he does NOT suffer treason from his vassals. They even wrote a song about it - it was quite popular as I recall. Having Robb’s betrayal of the Freys be a gesture of love and not the stubborn sense of honor over duty to political alliance that ultimately leads to his downfall, paralleling his father, really makes it just an event that happens to me instead of a cornerstone example of how Westerosi politics operate.
Blowing the Great Sept of Baelor was surely D&D's way of getting out of having to explain things. They really seemed to dislike explaining things. The motto of their house should be "What is dead does not need to be explained."
Varys doesn't antagonize the priestess for no reason, it's made very clear in the show that Varys hates magic and magicians, because of what they've done to him
I wish I'd made it even clearer in the video, but there's no need for for him to express his personal vendetta in a diplomatic situation where he is the one asking her for help. It's quite counter productive, actually.
1:55 You missed the biggest error, when Ellaria wiped her mouth of the poison after Tristan and Myrcella left, all the sand snakes are here behind here, then next thing we know, two of them warped in Tristan's ship to kill him (but only after Jaimie, who would be a more interesting target left, i guess they can only teleport once a day or something)
Seems to me that Tristan was on another ship leaving afterwards, not the same ship with Jamie and Myrcella. Why they travelled in different ships makes no sense to me, but I'm pretty sure they weren't the same ship, no teleportation involved.
THIS IS GREAT! it's so clear and concise and it focuses on issues that are more than just plot holes and rather any event that goes against the previously established flow of the story. PERFECT
Man, that Tyrion/Theon dialogue bothered me the moment I saw it. I immediately went back and re-watched the season 1 scene to confirm what I remembered from their first convo.
One thing I found really stupid storytelling was when Davos found that wooden stag toy on the spot where they burned Shireen. Why would Davos even be so interested in checking that burned pyre, and how did a wooden toy survive a burning pyre?
It would have made sense to bring him back to build him up as the chosen one as he brings together ice and fire to kill the Night king but they let Arya kill him so his resurrection was pointless
you failed to mention the biggest error in this season which is the fact that previously wunwun had used a tree/pole to fight multiple walkers at a time yet in the battle of winterfel he doesnt even bother to rip out a tree and use it. i mean, the whole part where they got surrounded would have been negated by wunwun holding a tree. the knights of the vale would have been completely useless if wunwun had just ripped a tree from the ground before the battle. that single point ruined game of thrones for me.
Actually Tyrion being unharmed by the dragon should be a whole "subverting expectations!" in itself. He was rumored to be the result of his mother's indiscretion with Mad King Aerys and that was why Tywin hated him (aside from him also being an Imp, which is an embarrassment for a proud man like Tywin even if Tyrion had been his child and not Aerys). One of the tests that the Targaryens made their bastards take is to have them confront the dragons. If they can control the beasts, they have Valyrian blood. If they can't, they became lunch for the dragons. So, I would say that had Tyrion actually came away unharmed from a close encounter with the dragons without supervision from Danaerys (which even Jon being a secret Targaryen had never done); then Tyrion is a Targaryen and has some right to claim the throne. Though he had to be legitimized first and would change the whole dynamic between him and J&C. I mean, if D & D want to go off-canon this could have been a plot that they could pursue, if they ever cared about the story at all.
You overlooked the fact that it was Sansa who passed judgement against Littlefinger, but Arya who killed him, totally ignoring one of the most valued principles of their father...which was introduced in EPISODE 1...that the person who passes the judgment must be the one to swing the blade.
To add to this list, Sansa left to the vale during the botb and then Bolton gave his speech about feeding his dogs. Then Sansa returns to tell him something she never heard?
Nice vid! I'm glad there are many people who realize that Season 6 was already awful, not just 7 and 8. The last truly good season was season 4, season 5 was already bad for the most part, but from season 6 forward it just became dumb.
@Larmes Desthete the battle of the bastards...which is ridiculous. I don't how many awards were assigned to the season 6. It's still awful. If you are such a massive fan of season 6, well, sorry to ruin it for you, but if you can't tell it's bad, then your previoys accusations of me being and idiot are actually better applied to you.
@Larmes Desthete First of all, who are you to tell me whether I'm an expert or/and professional or not? Do you know me? Maybe I am. Second, you are appeal to authority, which is a logical error, in case you didn't know that. So stop doing that. It's useless and worthless. Third, I don't care what your so called "professionals" say. I know just as many professionals who'd agree with me. Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven are dumb movies, not great at all. Just as season 6. No. season 6 is worse. Much worse. Battle of Bastards is one of the most dumb cinematic battles in history. To call it a masterpiece...you are either a troll that is having a good time with me here, or a rare species of shit-eaters. Well, bon appetit!
The biggest sadness for me was that Jaquen does not return for the long night. Even as a small cameo. I’d love him to have a good story end not just a side character who gets forgotten the moment the main character goes elsewhere.
You nailed it. Yes, it went downhill. They made a LOT of errors. Eventually, who knows, in 10 years, 20 years, someone WILL do a remake. They should save this vid and learn from it for that remake.
Actually, the reason Varys antagonises the Red Priestess is because he said in an earlier season that after the sorcerer made him a eunuch he 'grew to hate magic and all those who practice it'
@@CultureVultureMedia1i think it’s implied in the show that asking for the red priestesses help was tyrion’s idea, and that varys agreed to hear her out but is still against the idea and is prodding her to try and prove his point
@@rat9536 Yes, I also think that was implied. Does that make any more sense of it, though, from a strategic standpoint? Varys is a strategist for the longterm, so revealing his cards in the first meeting with a potential ally or enemy seems very out of character for him, in my opionion.
The most annoying thing in the later seasons is that every single line of even trivial dialogue is spoken so overdramatically, just to camouflage the lack of quality.
Nice take on the watch traitors, that always bugged me. Sansa is the WORST character on this show. Shes useless. Just makes mistake after mistake and then magically becomes empowered without really doing anything.
Jon's actions at the battle of the bastards pissed me off so much. Also regarding Sansa/Jon tensions over how to deal with Ramsay, they could have written all that so much better. Sansa could and even should have been "the smartest person weve ever met" but they half-assed the shit out of her character development, along with most of the characters.
Peasants in the KL didn’t necessarily have to win against Cersei. If they wanted to settle her ‘getting more calculating arc’ they should’ve shown how she would handle massive protests
When they get back to Winterfell no one sees Ramsey and he has a free shot with his arrow and instead of shooting Jon he shoots an already dying giant in the eye
Making arya a superhero and facing 0 repercussions for basically abusing the whole faceless thing while keeping her identity and then promptly leaving was the moment she started becoming insufferable. The rest of her story afterwards more than confirmed that status too
Realy,I can't never have enough anything about GoT,specialy videos which searching mistakes and reveals uncapture moments, thus is one of the best channel of that matter
I believe the show ending how it did was D&D pressuring GRRM for future info on story or pressuring him to finish books. Then when GRRM wouldn't cave they started planning the end quickly
5:46 isn't it revealed in the earlier season that varys doesn't like magic because of his past with that wizard guy that chop off his balls. I think he also mentioned that's why he hated stannis' army because they have magic people (melisandra)
Sansa rode away before Ramsay told Jon he'd been starving his hounds, yet before he was fed to the hounds Sansa said "They're starving. You said so yourself" as if she heard him say it.
I'm glad I subscribed to this channel. Shitting on GOT will never get out of fashion for me. So much potential wasted, a panel of fans would have written a better ending
Episode 9: After the parlay with Ramsay Bolton, Davos finds the site where Shireen was sacrificed. In other words, Stannis sacrificed Shireen within maybe an hour or less away from Winterfell.
Is it pathetic that I still am angry at dumb and dumber (with Bryan cogman help) at destroying my favorite books? Also I read the Cogman is working with Amazon on the lotr series, seven save us 😩
Nah, not at all it still irks the hell out of me too. I'm a Tolkien nerd and I have no hope for the Amazon series. At this point, I just want House of the Dragon to be amazing.
Arya being STABBED in THE STOMACH multiple times while she does parkour was quite the mind-f'er for me. But, Drogo getting a cut to the chest made him weak.
Also Tormund recalling how Jon and Stannis hit the wilding army with horses….even though he wasn’t there and Jon had no idea Stannis was coming when he went to the wilding camp.
I also just realised on a rewatch, much like you said about Cersei in Season 8, Lyanna shows no signs of pregnancy at the Tower of Joy, only difference is she actually had her kid!
Let's not forget that Rickon aka Sansa and Jon's little brother dies and they show no emotion towards that whatsoever, they don't even organize a funeral for him and he's never mentioned ever again in the show
Things always take a downturn when major characters die…then get resurrected. Same happened in Heroes. Once it happens nothing really matters any more.
You're completely right, but those are the kind of errors I omit because it's a bit nitpicky. Presumably, someone could have told her about that back at camp - however, that would also ruin the moment of her getting to say it back to his face... In any case, you're right, it's definitely an error.
YOU MISSED A BIG ONE!!!! After the BOB was over Sansa says to Ramsay “You said your dogs haven’t eaten for seven days, and now they’re starving”. How could she have known this? She rode away before Ramsay said it to John.
15:24 Here’s a thing that bothers me about the *flawless sept-plosion plan,* that nobody ever seems to point out… The stab-happy “little bird” didn’t just shank Lancel wildly, hoping to do enough damage to keep him from putting out the flames-no, no. In a *dark, underground tunnel,* the kid stabs him ONCE, perfectly between the vertebrae, with surgical precision, in the exact area (and in the correct way) that would be necessary to cut Lancel’s spinal cord and leave his legs paralyzed- so all he could do was drag himself frustratingly slow towards the candles! Even if you made the argument that “maybe Qyburn trained the little bird,” the chances of it being executed flawlessly are still very slim… And if that actually had been the case, Westeros should’ve sent that kid to the citadel for maester training ASAP!!! 😆
They should make a GoT sequal, taking place a few years after S8, with kid as the main protagonist trying to take down the citadel from within, before going for the Iron Throne himself. I'd watch that, ngl.
@@CultureVultureMedia1 well it’s technically an *iron puddle* now… But yes! I absolutely agree on watching the heII outta that show if they made it!! 😆💖
its like watching your cool nan slowly retreat into dementia.... and that actually happened to me! lmao. but the way the personality of the show as a creature slowly fades until you blink and realise how bad its gotten
You missed the pile of dead bodies at the Battle of the Bastards. Like 20-50 dead people high Not only is that impossible (at some point people will walk around the pile), but the mass of bodies just in that pile is larger than the remaining army. This is were GoT lost me.
It wasn't killing Jon Snow that was the beginning of the end; it was bringing hm back. But as soon as he started getting all the slo-mo hero shots, the writing was on the wall
@@ashscott6068 Huh? They did that by his outline and he brought back Cat in the books too. Bringing Jon back have absolutely all the sense in the world, considering who he is.
@@stevem2323 What does who he is have to do with him not being able to die? Rahegar wasn't just Rhaegar's son, he WAS Rhaegar, and he's still deader than Elvis. Rhaegar is just a dead guy who used to be in line to the throne. He wouldn't be anymore, even if he weren't dead. The prophecies in the story, are just things that people in that world believe. It doesn't mean they're going to come true. It would be awful writing if they did. Jon should absolutely stay dead, to remind people which series they're reading. He came back in the show, because of all the 12 year old girls with Kit Harrington posters on their wall. The same happens to most shows. A few seasons in, you get an influx of young teen viewers, who decide their favourite character, based on how much they want to have sex with them, and nevermind how boring they are, or that the actor playing them has the personality and screen presence of a plank of wood.
I disagree with your point on Yara's (meager) objection on Daenerys' condition of no more raiding and pillaging. We talk about a pirate nation where the ruling house has the motto of "we do not sow" and "paying with iron" aka taking things by force over "paying with gold". Not only the whole pirate thing is Pyke's nearly entire economy, it's also their culture. Can you imagine captains flocking to Yara when she tells them: "Well, from now on, we do sow"? Imagine the USA getting a condition of "no more firearm access for citizens and no more democratic election". And that didn't even touch the economy. Daenerys' condition forces Pyke to change literally everything in their lifestyle and economy and even if Yara is willing, in a sensible Game of Thrones, her captains would immediately join Euron "FingerInTheBum" Greyjoy.
Watching previous seasons made me realize how much plot is just nonsense and never explained. To the point where you can't even tell somethings like the faith in Kings Landing had so much screen time to just completely vanish in one big green explosion and we never hear from it again.
How did those arrows even affect Wun Wun? If I recall, the last one goes through his eye which I can accept. But those other ones in his shoulders, torso shouldn't have done anything. They probably didn't even get through his fur. But if they did, they should be at best poking his skin. Like when you push your finger lightly against a pin.
Varys doesn't antagonize red priests for no reason as you mention in it other seasons as well. He has a certain grudge against people who practice black magic since his castration was performed solely for the purpose of performing it. There's even a scene where Melisandre taunts him by offering to recite the words of the spell that took his genitals if I remember correctly.
Yes omg I HATED this season!! The battle of the bastards made me so angry with all its stupidity, and when everybody was praising it I felt like maybe I was the crazy one.. but no, it just sucked, and everybody else just wasn't ready to see how horrible the show was starting to become yet when they didn't have any more books to adapt. Imo the show is amazing seasons 1-4 and then just gets worse and worse until not even a blind man could ignore it anymore (the last season..)
I think the quality of the cinematography, music, and scale of the massive battle was absolutely fantastic. I’ll watch bits of this show, like battle of the bastards and the long night, just for the artistry of those things. If I turn on my brain and start thinking about how the scenes actually fit into the show, it becomes very stupid and frustrating. I like to think that all the people I know who originally praised it were just blindsided by production quality and now see how disappointing it was.

The stabbing of Arya (and her surviving) for me was the moment I fell out of the universe of GoT and lost all immersion, permanently
I remember my heart sinking on my first watch. Unbelievable.
Lowkey the entire Arya - Bravos plot made me lose it
It felt very disney and not good disney
@@casualtrin9834 Haha, that's a nice way to put it. Braavos was very nicely built up to, but didn't deliver at all. The setting was nice at least.

Good point!
Maybe.
It was one giant, in a small group of soldiers they expected to dominate... Now if the were "GIANTS RIDING MAMMOTHS DOWN THERE", I could imagine them being at least a little intimidated...
@@THEAdmiralXizor nah, i feel like there wouldve at least been some sort of double take lol

I think the biggest error in game of thrones was when the giant was running through the ice tunnel there was a portcullis in his way, how does a portcullis work in a tunnel carved out of ice😅
You forgot Varys teleporting from dorne to dany’s fleet.
Right! Good spot.
I mean, did you need the show to give you a detailed account of his trip?

I think that was clearly motivated, even if it wasn't a very good conclusion.
It's important to differentiate between "error" and "bad".
It makes sense, it’s just a bad decision
Dude, now I feel silly.
I love the description “His horse decides to die as well, despite not being hurt.”
It’s like the horse was thinking “I can go on no longer.

100% agree! It would have been the perfect conclusion to The High Sparrow's line "you are the few, and we are the many".
Yup, season 5. I've got an Every Error covering that event as well.
I don't care if no-one reads it, it's just cathartic to say it!:
- Brienne having her cake and eating it too - her going after Stannis rather than saving Sansa should have had consequences for her character, for Sansa, for the plot.
Haha! Yeah, they stacked up mighty fast lol
- The entire Battle of the Bastards was impressive visually but really predictable from a story/plot perspective.
You need to get out more Sam😉
A personal bugbear, how quick Euron built a ginormous fleet after theon n yara had scarpered...for starters, where did they get the trees??
The hero we need but don’t deserve.
You mean the wine merchant that was stripped naked and forced to follow the Dothraki horde on foot with his hands tied?
This is canon and I don’t care

People made a lot of fun of Tommens death, but honestly, I felt sorry for the kid. And the book thus far seems to agree - Kevan was a genuine good advisor for Tommen and he a kind hearted, if naive, king. He would probably have made out to be the best ruler of the whole lot of options available.

A 300 story castle fell on them and Tyrion found them after moving 2 rocks.
And the vaulted ceiling which collapsed onto them seems intact above Tyrion when he finds them...
Melisandre lost her faith when she realized that she was wrong about Stannis. Her having a crisis of Faith makes sense.
13:59 yeah, that ricon running straight ahead was a bad decision of him, but I think in this situation many people would act like that. There are some reasons for this:
1. he was very scared and can't think clear, many people would be like this if they are in fear of death
2. he just wants to get as fast as possible to his brother
3. he is just a little boy and not every person is as smart as all the viewers seems to be
Yeah this is the one critique I have never got behind, my brother was aiming a water gun at me once and even the fear of that made me run striaght rather than zag - imagine a pyschopath with a bow and arrow!
after the first arrow missed, he should have definitely known to not run in a straight line, because for all he knows, he could be hit because he is slightly to the left or right of where the arrow barely missed him.

Yeah, I hear that a lot too. I'm surprised so many prefer S6 over S1-4.
Anyone who considers season 6 superior to 1 through 4 have the creative intelligence of a fuckin bonobo.
God, Euron is so annoying at The Kingsmoot
@@IngTomT He’s so silly and over the top, you just can’t take him seriously. He’s not a compelling villain.
@@CultureVultureMedia1 He also admits to being a kinslayer and the first thing he wants to do after his coronations is more kinslaying
Yeah him feeling that way makes complete sense, but to act on it doesn't, especially in a situation where THEY are asking HER for help, amirite :')
Thoros of myr was a drunk who didn't even really believe the red god before he revived Berric. Hardly a sorcerer that varys would despise.
@@mappingshaman5280 he said rubbed shoulders with, how does that imply he despised him?
YESSSSSSS I was just speaking on the days and time with politics and financial portfolios. This is the glass of Hennessy needed. THANK YOU.
My pleasure.
Blowing the Great Sept of Baelor was surely D&D's way of getting out of having to explain things. They really seemed to dislike explaining things. The motto of their house should be "What is dead does not need to be explained."
It's nice to revisit the many wrong turns that a once great show took on the road to being incredibly disappointing...
Thought it was about time to reopen the wounds!
That's a good one.
PERFECT
Thank you kindly. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Got that covered in the next video :D
th-cam.com/video/Hz-1o2ExcWk/w-d-xo.html
To add to this list, Sansa left to the vale during the botb and then Bolton gave his speech about feeding his dogs. Then Sansa returns to tell him something she never heard?

The biggest sadness for me was that Jaquen does not return for the long night. Even as a small cameo. I’d love him to have a good story end not just a side character who gets forgotten the moment the main character goes elsewhere.
You nailed it. Yes, it went downhill. They made a LOT of errors. Eventually, who knows, in 10 years, 20 years, someone WILL do a remake. They should save this vid and learn from it for that remake.
Actually, the reason Varys antagonises the Red Priestess is because he said in an earlier season that after the sorcerer made him a eunuch he 'grew to hate magic and all those who practice it'
Yes, his reason t o hate is clear, but the point is that it makes no sense to antagonize her when they were the ones asking for her help.
Excellent point
Nice take on the watch traitors, that always bugged me. Sansa is the WORST character on this show. Shes useless. Just makes mistake after mistake and then magically becomes empowered without really doing anything.

Jon's actions at the battle of the bastards pissed me off so much. Also regarding Sansa/Jon tensions over how to deal with Ramsay, they could have written all that so much better. Sansa could and even should have been "the smartest person weve ever met" but they half-assed the shit out of her character development, along with most of the characters.

Making arya a superhero and facing 0 repercussions for basically abusing the whole faceless thing while keeping her identity and then promptly leaving was the moment she started becoming insufferable. The rest of her story afterwards more than confirmed that status too
yup, that about sums it up. another thing that occurred to me was that Ramsey had a clear shot at Jon and killed the giant instead for dramatic effect

You also forgot the Sand Snakes teleporting to the ship fully armored after being shown in casual wear and on the docks not even a minute before it

Let's not forget that Rickon aka Sansa and Jon's little brother dies and they show no emotion towards that whatsoever, they don't even organize a funeral for him and he's never mentioned ever again in the show
This is one of the biggest errors in the entire show tbh. It's such an obvious must-have and they just binned it.
Things always take a downturn when major characters die…then get resurrected. Same happened in Heroes. Once it happens nothing really matters any more.
I’ve never heard of the faceless man dying for Arya theory but that was a amazing theory to hear.
Thank you! Wouldn't that have been badass? :D
I laughed at how many elements of Arya’s chase scene with her assassin seemed to come straight out of Terminator 2 and Casino Royale
It's ruff watching something you love slowly become shite with time, like a bowl of gud soup.
It's good soup tbf.
Oh, and old Nan used to make kidney pie, never forget.
i want to know how sansa heard ramsey say his dogs were ravenous he hasnt fed them for days, when she had already rode off on her horse? lol
You're completely right, but those are the kind of errors I omit because it's a bit nitpicky. Presumably, someone could have told her about that back at camp - however, that would also ruin the moment of her getting to say it back to his face...
In any case, you're right, it's definitely an error.
@@CultureVultureMedia1 fair enough ;) I've re watched so many times that I can't help but nitpick
@@mariamenegalli2321 With a billion dollar show, you would expect nothing short of consistent, but here we are...
So impressed you can proununce the "KH" or "خ" correctly everytime
I thought that Dario used the big rock to smash in the area of the stab wound so it wouldn't look like he was stabbed
Now that you mention it... although I’m pretty sure he would’ve had to smash a lot more to remove all of the wound, or am I crazy?
I thought he did it because a smashed head is a obvious cause of death and the wouldn't notice a small stab wound.
YOU MISSED A BIG ONE!!!! After the BOB was over Sansa says to Ramsay “You said your dogs haven’t eaten for seven days, and now they’re starving”. How could she have known this? She rode away before Ramsay said it to John.
15:24 Here’s a thing that bothers me about the *flawless sept-plosion plan,* that nobody ever seems to point out…
The stab-happy “little bird” didn’t just shank Lancel wildly, hoping to do enough damage to keep him from putting out the flames-no, no.
Even if you made the argument that “maybe Qyburn trained the little bird,” the chances of it being executed flawlessly are still very slim…
And if that actually had been the case, Westeros should’ve sent that kid to the citadel for maester training ASAP!!! 😆
They should make a GoT sequal, taking place a few years after S8, with kid as the main protagonist trying to take down the citadel from within, before going for the Iron Throne himself.
I'd watch that, ngl.
@@CultureVultureMedia1 well it’s technically an *iron puddle* now…
But yes!
"idealogical agendas being pushed"? Helluva thing to drop without explanation
It wasn't killing Jon Snow that was the beginning of the end; it was bringing hm back. But as soon as he started getting all the slo-mo hero shots, the writing was on the wall
You do understand he will be back in the books too?
@@stevem2323 Not if GRRM was a good writer, he wouldn't. And it's by no means guaranteed
I always thought the reason Varys starts antagonize the Priestess is his hate for sorcery as he explains in earlier seasons.
True, but the point is that he has nothing to gain by doing it :P
Literally LOL'd when I saw Rickons body get hit with more arrows😅
Watching previous seasons made me realize how much plot is just nonsense and never explained.
To the point where you can't even tell somethings like the faith in Kings Landing had so much screen time to just completely vanish in one big green explosion and we never hear from it again.
My new favorite channel.
My friend, I thank you. And welcome!
Who tf is Kinvara? and what role did she play? Like seriously she was there only for a few seconds😪
5:40 But there IS a reason. Varys expresses his absolute hate for magic and sorcery in season 3. His reaction here is natural and makes sense.
Early-season Varys was still diplomatic and cordial with people he hated, for what he saw as the greater good.
Imagine how cool It would have been if Arya actually died and later we found out we were actually seeing the other girl using her face 😐
Those damn sexist knights!
“Mind the gap while stepping off the teleporter.”
18:08 what ideological agendas? have balls to say?
Nail on the head. You're not the only crazy one.
The whole time I was thinking, give Wun Wun even a tree to fight with.
