There is a reason why Yamahas are the number 1 choice. I have them on my 2022 NC895. and they start instantly, and purr like kittens.
800 pound kittens with giant claws. I have 5 year warranty on the twin 200's.

That and Yamaha actually warranties their engines. I know two people who had 'Zukis and had to fight with them to get them to warranty their repairs. I've got one and it runs great, but I pray I never have to use the warranty.

I have six years anti corrosion warranty here in Australia on my mercury 225 engines in my 895. The preference for mercury includes both price and ease of flushing in the 895 as the flushing port is more easily reachable without having to climb over the engines - as I flush on a mooring this helps a lot. I’d recommend not going with bigger engines based on my need for economy at low speeds , 200 hp would be fine. I use about 10 or less litres an hour at 6 knots, the team on the rudder reported considerably higher consumption at this speed with 250 hp engines on the new series 2 they were reviewing on water (from memory 40 to 50 percent more fuel use).
Great boat, and a great video showcasing it! Thanks,
      T

Do you have additional test data that you can share? Fuel economy across the rpm range and noise measurements are what I'm after. Thank you!

@blackhemp4046: the NC895 is 29'9" x 9'10." The Antares 11 measures 36'7" x 11'6. ( Note that in both cases the model numbers reference length in meters.)

      It’s the Antares 9. That’s what I have.
