I grew up in a large house with tons of trees and gardens and tons of animals. :-) I now have a ranch in Chatsworth with all of the same things and more. :-) My top doctor in Los Angeles says I have one of the best immune system’s he has ever seen in a large practice. What you guys are saying is the absolute truth and more. Thanks Dr. Gundry you’re the best!

Dr. Gundry please tell us about Garlic sauce and if garlic sauce is okay on the plant paradox diet. I love eating chicken shawarma salad (chicken, lettuce, onions, black olives, green olives, garlic sauce, tahini sauce). Also I have celiac. I'm 26 and your book has helped so much

    Common allergy triggers include:👍
Airborne allergens, such as pollen, animal dander, dust mites and mold.
Certain foods, particularly peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, eggs and milk.
Insect stings, such as from a bee or wasp.
Medications, particularly penicillin or penicillin-based antibiotics.

I am few weeks in Doc's recommended diet and I can say it was hard, had headaches and etc, but I see it's showing results which I wanted. I won't give up now when I know the truth, thanks to Doc Gundry.
I too react to spinach severely btw. Mostly what I can eat safely are leafy greens, non starchy(=sugar), cruciferous veggies and white meat, fish, poultry (better not fried, but cooked)
We only can retrain our immunes systems by not feeding it with toxins like lectins, oxalates, sugar and etc and etc

Thank You, and I have a question.I'm near 60 y.o. , healthy, no extra weight but suddenly I got a bad rash on my hands while living in Ireland for 12 years .I know that food was bad and this thing happened to me straight away after i've moved to live there from Latvia. I'm back to my country (more than 6 ago) ,it becomes much much better but it troubles me a lot lately.Buckweat is a staple food for Russians and is widely eaten in Latvia. All other foods you are talking about are fine to eliminate but not buckweat. What do You think,if people eat some food generation after generation,do they develop a bacteria in their gut to digest it without doing harm? Maybe a staple food for every given nation needs to be treated different way ? If there are any studies about this? How to find out if buckweat is really harmfull for me?

    • @autumnsglass

Can someone explain why sulforaphane is supposedly good but lectins are supposedly bad?
They both seem to be the plants defense system so that herbavors wont eat them.

I have a bad problem with corn and it's derivatives. The main problem corn is used in almost all our food and drinks and meds so it's very hard to abstain from and as far as i know there is nothing to fix the problem . So, it's good to hear they are making some advances in the allergy world and there may be some hope for a cure in the future. My symptom are full body itch that last for weeks after I ingest the stuff but I have to eat. I do think it is interesting that before They GMO'd corn there were almost no cases of corn causing any problems. Mine started around 1995 or so shortly after the gmo corn was introduced.
Thanks for putting up this good info.

Chinese style acupuncture was very effective for my urticaria, also called dermagraphia. It should be the Chinese style though because it is more invasive and actually reaches the chi. The "western" style is not too effective .
For me, acupuncture is the only thing that worked.

There is no way in heck I would let my cats outside. There are a few super busy streets where cars are going 50 mph near us plus coyotes. If we lived in more secluded rural area that might be different.
