1953 Gold Cup - Seattle, Wa

Mobil Oil production color-film recap of the 1953 Gold Cup on Seattle's Lake Washington. Video also includes a portion of KING TV's broadcast of activity in the pits with a close-up look at the hydroplanes which included a large contingent from Detroit. The segment was shot prior to the final heat (Heat 3). Then see a unique perspective of the race in a color home movie taken from high up on a hill near the north turn.
