    I used to work there. The old Musicland/Sam Goody store right near the food court. Back in the late 90s, it was doing pretty good.

    I went into my local mall I grew up going to. It's just like this, a few anchor stores and some stores scattered about and the food court. It was sad to see how dead it was. It will be closed down in a year or 2 at best, it cannot survive. Welcome to the Amazon Era, this is the result of "convenience online shopping" what a joke, it destroyed so much.

      It’s always very tragic when these malls fade off. Online shopping not only played a role in the malls demise, but it’s separating the people.

    The hub of society is commerce on the local level. Human interaction and local pricing. Once everything goes online, its dehumanizing.

    Man I used to go to this mall all the time when I was in middle school. Right where you came in at on the right there used to be a big arcade that I would hang out at with my "first love". Damn, they times they are a changin.

      That’s cool! I used to go here as a kid as well. Times most certainly have changed

      I would hang out at that arcade also in the 90's. It was top notch. It's a shame to see the mall like this. I have long moved away and I guess in my mind I still saw this place doing well. This whole mall used to be filled and bustling. Is Mall of America looking like this now also?

    To be honest, sometimes I think these malls are intentionally becoming vacant so they close. There's people all over that would love their own store. I find it a bit odd. I don't think these closings are accidental, vacancy's are just an excuse to close them.

      Sometimes I think the same thing. I know sometimes malls that are doing ok just evict all their tenants because they have big plans

    Once Macy's and JC Penney's go, the mall will be truly dead. What happened to all the shoppers?

      It will be a shame when this mall goes. They will probably go to other stores, maybe the near by MOA

    Why is it "Minnesota’s most infamous mall"

    • @Evans_explores
      @Evans_explores  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s Minnesotas largest dead mall, and it’s starting to garner a lot of attention
