Actually already starting to look like a fun machine to play man! Didn't expect that already. Really nice idea the 8 letters divided over drop and standup targets. Love all the details and lots of trial and errors with explanation, makes it really interesting to watch. I finally received my starterkit from FAST, good timing since winters is coming :] Looking forward to next video
@@thepinballroom I think you add one in a later video - a speed bumper or whatever the term is - anyway, I'm still getting caught up. Can't wait to see it finished.
That upper flipper seems pretty difficult to aim. Maybe that’s your intent, but I wonder if there’s any way to make an upper flipper feel easier or more consistent?
yeah, great observation, I think you're right on with that - it's all about getting the geometry lined up, that's why I had to move the flipper a few times. But I agree, I think it will need more dialing in to make sure the shot has a higher percentage of being made - the steepness of the ramp doesn't help either but there's not a lot I can do about that with where I want it placed and the loop I want it to do - I could perhaps simplify the ramp and not have it do the full loop, that would allow me to make it lower / less steep and could help the shot feel a lot better, I've been considering that actually, but for now, this is where it's at.
So all 5 of my main flipper coils are the same bslly/Williams flipper mech and coil from pinballlife.com - it's a dual wound coil with both main and hold coil windings in one - lmk if you need the exact coil numbers etc
Yes always happy when I see a new thepinballroom thumbnail pop up.
Haha! that made my day, thank you!!
I love your positive and humble attitude. Thanks for continuing to post these videos
Thank you for another video. I learn so much from each of your videos
Happy to hear that!

Woohoo!! Yes! You can do so much with that!!
It's looking great already, it really has the "flow" you talked about in the playfield design video. Nice!
Thanks, man!! Yeah feeling pretty good about how it’s coming along!
You are doing a really good job, well done.
Thank you!
This is amazing I was just starting to look for a 3d ramp file. I'm going to try this on a resin printer hopefully it will hold up
Lmk how it works out, Ian - All the 3d (STL) files for everything I've made for this pin is up in my public files folder on google drive, enjoy!
Good Job 💪🏻💪🏻
Great video again :) I'm making my pinball like you, thanks for the ideas you give me :)
Glad they’re helpful!! Good luck on your project!
Great content, very inspiring, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Hell yes!
I get that this was published a few months ago and you're probably further along by now, but why no bumpers?
I've got one lower down my playfield but I just couldn't find space up top 🤷

Hi Steve, what coil type do you use for the third flipper?
So all 5 of my main flipper coils are the same bslly/Williams flipper mech and coil from pinballlife.com - it's a dual wound coil with both main and hold coil windings in one - lmk if you need the exact coil numbers etc
@@thepinballroom for the lower flippers I've got 11629. Now I want to add a third flipper. What coil number did you choose? A weaker one?
@@stefku76 no get the same strength, you can lower the power in the mpf config file - that's what I did - get the same coil tho
@@thepinballroom ah, yes. I din't thought about that way. Thanks!
Sir what is a good email address for you?
I am not a bot or any of that, I have a few questions and would like a link to the google drive for wire and such
