Idk why but I cried during the lantern rite. The part where Gaming was performing, when all the lights went out and everyone was confused but gathering to the slowly rising lanterns... I felt like I was actually there, confused along with the crowd. Slowly gazing up as lanterns started floating up in the air. And then feeling the beat of the drums thumping along with my heart. Idk it was magical. ❤ Happy Lantern Rite❤ I was also a bit sad at that time because I couldn't celebrate the chinese new year with my family so watching that scene made me a bit emotional.
For anyone who wants to know, the amount in the hong bao has to be an even number. Odd numbers are bad luck. The reason the also do not do any amount with the number 4 is because the Chinese word for 4 is 四 （sì） and the Chinese word for death it the same spelling with a slightly different tone 死 （sǐ）.

Ok, the first one is not “ha gao”, it’s “xiu mai”. Ha Gao is shrimp dumpling with semi transparent dumpling skin on the outside Xiu Mai on the other hand looks like a small cylinder cup or bowl, just like what they have here. It’s like calling pizza a meat pie, totally different thing.

Hello, I have a request that I think you guys would like for a food challenge. The food challenge can be a Red Dead Redemption 2 themed challenge since they have a lot of good and horrible foods in the game.
You should try to make more episodes related to Genshin Impact food! For example an episode for food related to the other regions in the game (Fontaine, Sumeru, Inazuma and Mondstad). That would be Amazing! 🤩 Love the channel and love Genshin Impact ❤
Yes I recognized the tang yuan! It's like a warm mochi ball usually filled with black sesame paste, peanut paste, or red bean paste. Also my parents made me say happy new years and thank you to everyone who gave me a red envelope as a kid as well as greeting them by their title. Ex: aunt/uncle, grandma/grandpa or just 叔叔/阿姨

The first dish is Shrimp Shumai not Har Gow. Har Gow is shrimp in a rice based skin that is semi opaque. Shumai is in an egg/wheat based shell.
