Thank you for this! It was a very cool surprise to see how you handled the pedal notes. Teaching the scales first is also very helpful!

Very nice. Fantastic interpretation and excellent breakdown of the Dm and C#dim scales unlocking this singularly timeless songscape from 300 years ago. Is the tab notation for sale? Thanks

Thank you Bruce! I'm glad you found it helpful. You can use this link to go to Udemy.com. I have an entire course of 10 lessons just like this, including "In the Hall of the Mountain King", Beethoven's 5th Symphony and more. The course comes with all the tablature. Thank you again for the positive feedback! www.udemy.com/course/classical-metal-guitar-you-can-actually-play/?referralCode=59FC247CB481AF54C883

Fantastic mate👌I was mesmerised as a kid watching Sky do it in the early 80's? I think. Went on to learn the drums. Now I have just started guitar 🤭 You have inspired me immensely, Thank you👍👊

That's perfect for me a new project that will teach me alot of theory under it. Thanks for this tutoriel.
O btw I just started, but I think sometime your tabs are wrong if we check what you play. Like first phrase second octave, ( 17 16 17... 15..... after your tabs say 10 8 10... on B string ( it does work, but you play 14 12 14 on G string)
That's awesome that you also show the scales under it and explain alot of theory under it. Thanks again for this tutorial I am happy to learn a classical piece on guitar.

Thank you for the feedback. Maybe sometimes when I’m writing the tab, it doesn’t come out that way when I play. Something I can improve on. Thank you. I’m glad this was helpful for you. Good luck!

Mitch, I really liked your approach: review the scales before starting teaching the piece!

Hello, so I have two things, first, great tutorial. I thought it was very descriptive and easy to learn. Second, the mainly hammer on and pull off parts’ tabs were a bit hard to read because the numbers were so small, so, I was wondering what were the frets? If you could please tell me.

Thank you for the comment and I’m glad it was helpful. I think the parts you are asking about are as follows: drone on the open 5th string (A) and hammer on 5,7,8,5, 7,8,10,7. 8,10,12,8 10,12,13,10……..
The next part drones in the 2nd string, 2nd fret (A) and dose the same pattern starting on the 9th fret.: 9,11,12,9. 11,12,14,11. 12,14,16,14. …….
      Hopefully this is helpful

Thanks for watching and giving feed back. Keep in mind this is Classical Metal Guitar You Can Actually Play so it is somewhat simplified. However, if you have any footage of yourself playing and teaching it more accurately, feel free to post that in the comments. I’m sure my subscribers could benefit from seeing that.
