    For context,
I am clearing my 3ds levels before switching from cartridge to the digital version of smm3ds to do speedruns. This requires deleting my save file as it doesn't like having two copies of Mario Maker on the same SD-card. In smm3ds you could NEVER upload your own levels but could play from levels the pool of smm1 Wii-U levels.
With that out of the way, this will be a 3-part series archiving a few of my levels. There will be 5 levels per vid totalling 15 levels. I've put them in 3 categories: Hard levels, Good levels, and Other levels.
    (1) TAS Walljump
This trick requires a Frame Perfect jump or a 1 frame window in a 60fps game. To setup the TAS walljump I do a partial wallclip. By jumping into the corner of the block while moving very slowly away from the wall you don't get pushed out until you land in the wall. I do a Max height spinjump so the jump timing is always the same but a regular jump works to. Entering the door only requires the partial wallclip.
I'm very practiced at this variant of the TAS walljump so I can do it consistently in a few tries but it's still very hard.
    (2) Shell Air
This is a shell kaizo. The main difficulty comes from shelljump consistency and momentum control.
Not much else to say other than the first time I cleared the level it took an hour.
    (3) Broken Airship
The level was literally made by scribbling ground blocks across the screen then erasing a few blocks so the level was beatable. I then turned it into a pretty difficult 50s speedrun because why not :)
It looks like I have plenty of time but that's only because I have routed and optimised the entire level. In other words it would take a long time to beat this level blind.
    (4) Tricky Kaizo
A level utilising some of the basic kaizo tricks. If you're wondering 'YATTA' roughly translates to "I did it" in Japanese. Also, I have no Idea why the contraptions makes the galoomba consistently get 'stuck' sideways (2:25) but it's cool so I kept it.
    (5) Bomb Escape
This is my hardest level. I wasn't happy with the original ending which was weaving through some spikes, so I fixed it.
The coins in the bottom left at the start indicate how to do the first bomb ladder. The highlight of the level is this Multicaping section (3:14) which is a smm1 exclusive trick. The inputs are simple but precise and it is very satisfying to do. I've never seen anyone do a multicape transfer or loop around an object which makes this special.
anyway, the level is mostly really difficult because the start is relatively easy but after the 2nd half requires a wide variety of back-to-back kaizo tricks. I wasn't happy with the original ending which was weaving through some spikes, so I fixed it.
This was a 4 hours to clear done over multiple days because I had to fix a lot of the Jank in the original level and because I also naied (failed the final trick) 4 times.
    Thanks for reading.

Why.. Get a better camera or use a Mario emulator. The quality of this vid is so bad that I couldn't even recognise Mario
